REPAIRS TO ROADS AT CERTAIN OTM AREAS UNDER AGE B/R-1 OF INS SHIVAJI LONAVLA

Repair to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting arround edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat with bituminiou primer at 5 kg per 10 sqm, putting in pre-mixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with premixed sand seal coat (9.8kg of per 10 Sqm binder with 0.09cum of stone chipping, 6.3 mm size and, again well rammed (including supply of premix macadam, binder and chipping) depth of potholes exc 30 mm depth complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags and mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirts etc and applying evenly a tack coat with bituminous primer at 5Kg per 10 Sqm with paving bitumen complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for laying bituminous SDAC (Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete) a 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using VG 30 bitumen by mechanised paver) rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 ton power roller over and including preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed.
