PROVISION OF EARTHING PIT AT VARIOUS BUILDINGS AT AIR FORCE STATION NATHATOP

M&L Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 3.15 mm thick as earth electrode burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 3.50 Meter deep below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 2.5mtr below ground level using copper earth strip 20 x 3 mm dia as earth continuity conductor connected to earth plate by means of copper thimbles, nuts, bolts, washers including brazing etc of earth electrode and earth wire by means of welding, all as directed including providing watering pipe 20mm dia with wire/strip mesh and funnel at top, earth pit and pit cover made of MS sheet 10 mm thick duly fixed to angle iron frame with hinges of appropriate size by welding and having locking arrangement, adequate quantity of charcoal dust and salt all around the earth plate, earth work in any type of soil , removing surplus excavated material all as required at site and as specified by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) Excavation work for the same is included in quoted rates . (ii) The Grid of Earthing through earth strip to achived earth resistance less than 01 Ohms to 05 Ohm shall be deemed to be included the quoted rate and nothing extra payment shall be made to contractor. (iii) Soil shall be provided by the contractor from outside the MoD land for refilling the remaining portion of earth pit for increasing soil conductivity The Low rasistivity soil shall be measured and paid seperately. (iv) The copper strip &GI Protation pipe requied for making grid of any number , of earth pits as directed by engineer in charge shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates. Earth strip GI & Light grade 40 mm dia GI protection pipe from grid or otherwise upto 7.5 mtr is included in quated rates. Earth strip & GI pipe beyond 7.5 mtr mtr shall be paid & measured separately. (v) The ground enhansing material (GEM) / chemicals shall be added with soil and the GEM/chemicals shall be measured and paid seperately.

M&L for supply and pouring of RoHS tested Earth Enhancement Compound of 25kg bag factory made with date of maintaince and date of Expiry etc. tested by NABL accredited lab in compliance to IEC 62561-7 or its latest IEC code with a resistivity < 0.12 ohm-m. It shall be free from bentonite and other hazardous substances. It shall be a permanent, non-corrosive material and will not leach any chemicals into the ground. It shall retain moisture even in high soil resistivity areas. complete all as specified and as directed.Make: JMV (BFC) S.G. Supply and fixing 125 mm dia FRP Earth Pit Cover of top size 200x200mm bottom size 300x300mm with height of 150mm with lockable Lid, Earth Pit cover shall be made of Poly plastic tested at 7.5 ton load for closing of earth pits complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge . Make: JMV (BFC) S.G. Power GEM/KAPI TRODE/GEC (Techno power) or its equivalent as approved by GE.

M&L for Galvanised Iron Tubing/Pipe 40mm bore (dia), light grade for wire Protection, fixed in Walls/Floors with suitable type of clamps nut bolt ,breazing work , etc up to building height 15/20 mtr complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Test Point Terminal Block made of Gun Metal or Phosphorus Bronze size 75x75x25mm, drilled and screwed including 3 No. 8mm dia, 25mm long hexagonal Head Screw, complete all as per specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Earth continuity conductor 20 x 3.00 mm copper strip or main earthing lead fixed to walls on batten or recess or chassis or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing up to 15 /20 Mtr Building height etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Supply and fixing copper conductor 70 Sq mm multi standard single core pvc insulated and Pvc sheated fixing to walls on batten or recess or chassis or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc up to building height 15/20 mtr complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Supply and fixing Porcelain Insulators of size not less than 75mm long and 30mm thic for fixing earthing strips fixed with suitables screws, nut, bolts and washers etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Excavatin in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and n exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation etc and getting out in any type of hard /dense soil, complete all as speficied and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each in any type of soil , contractor will remove all boulders on any size and refilling the remaining portion of excavated area with soil from outside of MOD land for increasing soil conductivity without any extra cost to the Govt towards bringing the earthing value less than 1 Ohm. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Removing excavated spoil (soil) to a distance n.exc 500 mtr and depositing complete all as specified and as directd by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing (Lightening impulse counter Electromechanical) for counting surge impulse complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.Make THOR/TRUE POWER/G.S. POWER.

Material and labour for soft/loose natural soil low resitivity suitable for Earthing along with filling,spreading at site all as specified as and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
