REPAIR TO JOINT FILLING OF RUNWAY PTT ALL TAXI AND ALL DISPERSAL AND CRACK FILLING OF FLEXIBLE PORTION OF RUNWAY AT AF STN PATHANKOT

Racking out existing filling in dummy/construction joints upto 25mm width and depth as required to provide backup rod and minimum 15mm thick sealant compound and making it perfectly U shaped with vertical sides by means of mechanical cutter and ensure that joints should be cleaned to remove sealing compound from sides of joint , after cleaning and fanning with air compressor to make the joints free from all loose material (i.e. dirt/dust etc ) and provide polyethylene foam rod backup material of suitable size (Backup rod to be fixed with wooden roller) and applying primer of approved make to side and bottom of joints and filling with polyurethane sealant of approved make (minimum 15mm thick over backup rod) , all as manufacturer instruction and old material should be removed from Technical area as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (1) Masking tape on edge of joint to be provided on top surface to give neat finish to sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied. (2) An exclusive team of 06 labourers for each task such as removing of existing fiiling, cleaning of open opened joint, finishing of edges with grinder/cutter, applying of primer by one forward stroke and second backward stroke of brush, then applying joint sealant after appropriate time gap and as directed by the Manufacturer's instruction. (3) Quantity of joint filling material required shall be produced by contractor from approved manufacturer and store under supervision of Engr-in-Charge. Qty shall be procured in advance in cunsultation with Engr-in-Charge on quarterly basis.

Repair to pop out spalled joints, corner, pot holes in concrete slab by cutting, chiselnng manually & mechanical cutter, side prependicular to a minimum depth of 2.5 to 3 cm and cleaned off all loose or broken material remove outside Technical area, cleaning the surface with mechanical blower to remove all dust/loose particle outside Technical area and repair concrete slab floor with elastomeric PU concrete incl apply primer as per manufacturer instruction to match the existing surface including fomwork where required complete all as specified. Make:- CIPY/SIKA/FOSROC and as per E-in-C's branch approvrd list NOTES: (1) Application shall be followed as per manufacture instruction. (2) All the health and safety measurer shall be followed by the contractor during used of flexo elastromeric concrete. (3) An exclusive team of adequate number of labourers for repair to joints/corners with elastromeric PU concrete shall be deployed by the contractor as per directions of Engr-in-Charge. (4) The execution of 30% quantity is to be completed in within 60 days after acceptance of contract; failing to meet this execution target in the given due date shall incur irreversible panel recovery. (5) For next 50% quantity is to be completed within 120 days after acceptance of contract; failing to meet this execution target in the given due date shall incur irreversible panel recovery. (6) Last 20% quantity is to be completed in before completion date of contract given in the acceptance letter. Recovery = (Target % of total qty of Sr. No. 4,5,6 of notes of this item - executed qty)x10% x quoted rate in Rs.

S&F Retro reflective coloured tape (colour as approved by GE) of approved make and width 15 cm complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
