| 2.01 | Providing, laying, and fixing factory-finished 12 mm thick engineered wooden flooring of approved make, having precision-milled tongue-and-groove joints, over existing framework and plywood sub-base, ensuring proper alignment, level, and surface uniformity. The installation shall be carried out using headless nails/approved concealed fastening system with necessary adhesives wherever required, maintaining strict workmanship standards. A uniform expansion gap of minimum 10 mm shall be provided along all peripheries, filled with suitable edge protection/profile to accommodate thermal and climatic variations. The work shall include surface preparation, cleaning, conditioning of substrate, and moisture control measures to ensure long-term performance. All boards shall be free from defects, properly matched for grain and shade, and installed to achieve a seamless finish. The scope shall include cutting, trimming, edge finishing, and protection during execution. | 3Providing and fixing two layers | |||||
| 3.01 | Providing and fixing two layers of 12 mm thick marine grade plywood (IS 710 certified) in staggered/joint-offset pattern over a rigid sal wood framework of section 50×50 mm, accurately aligned and installed at 450 mm c/c, ensuring structural stability and level tolerance. The framework shall be securely anchored to the floor using MS angle cleats at 600 mm c/c, incorporating 5 mm thick neoprene isolation pads to minimize vibration and moisture transfer. The voids within the framework shall be uniformly filled with 25 mm thick, 800 GSM thermally bonded polyester wadding for acoustic and thermal insulation. The work shall include precise cutting, edge alignment, screw fixing with anti-corrosive fasteners, and surface levelling to achieve a uniform base. All materials shall be of approved quality, free from defects, and installed as per best engineering practices. Complete with all labour, tools, wastage, handling, and finishing, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. | 4Providing and carrying out anti-termite treatment | |||||
| 4.01 | Providing and carrying out anti-termite treatment to stage sub-floor and wall junctions using approved chemicals such as Imidacloprid 30.5% SC and/or Chlorpyrifos 20% EC (or equivalent), strictly in accordance with IS 6313 (Part-II) specifications. The treatment shall be executed by preparing emulsion at the specified dilution ratio (1 litre chemical in 20 litres of water) and applied uniformly through spraying/injection methods. The scope shall include drilling of holes at required intervals, injection under pressure, and sealing of holes with approved materials to ensure complete penetration. All junctions, cracks, and contact surfaces shall be thoroughly treated to create an effective chemical barrier. The work shall include surface preparation, cleaning, and removal of obstructions prior to application. Proper safety measures, handling procedures, and environmental precautions shall be followed.
