ADDITION AND ALTERATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF DINING HALL AND TOILETS IN OFFICER MESS (P-161) AT ICGAS DAMAN

S&F of Aluminum composite panels / PVC louvers of Al strong make for external wall cladding at all levels with all necessary Aluminum member frame works at all heights and elevation fixed on to the supporting brick masonry/ RCC frame, fastening material and hardware complete with all labour, material, equipment, handling, transportation, workmanship, preparation of shop drawings, staging, scaffolding, etc, all complete. The work shall also include for providing structural glazing with 12mm or more thick toughened glass of approved colour, to match with existing elevation of the building. The payment for structural glazing shall be all as per ACP panelling work only. Contractor to quote the rate after due estimation of ACP panelling portion and Glazing portion as per site. Work is to be executed as per approved shop drawings and Instructions of the Engineer-in-Charge. The aluminum composite panel should consist of 3mm thick thermoplastic core of anti oxidant LOPE sandwiched between 2 skins of 0.5mm thick aluminum alloy sheet making a total panel thickness of 4mm. The surface shall be finished with PVDF based coating of minimum 30 micron on the topsides and services coating on the reverse side shall be with polymer paint. The surface shall be protected with self adhesive peel off masking foil. The system shall be designed to withstand a wind pressure of 150kg/Sqm and shall be fixed to the Masonry/RC frame with necessary clamps, brackets and anchor fasteners. All clamps and brackets shall be hot dip galvanized minimum 80 microns thick and shall conform to IS: 4759-1996. The extruded aluminum section shall be anodized in approved colour with anodic coating of minimum 20 microns. Extruded section shall be 6063 T5 or T6 alloy conforming to ASTM B221. Any other festering straps, nuts, bolts, rivets, washers, etc. shall be in stainless steel SS304 grade Including providing open cell polyethylene backer rods, weather sealant etc. The weather sealant shall be Dow Corning 688/795 or equivalent. All the work shall be as per Manufacturer's specifications and approved shop drawings. Note: The rate quoted shall include for preparation of 3D design / drawings of the building with ACP panelling / glazing and UPVC window. The work shall commence only after the Digital model of the building with ACP panelling and UPVC windows is approved by GE / Engr-in-charge.

Taking down Chowkhats or frames (without taking off shutters from frame) exc 1.5 sq.m but n exc 4 sq.m each

M&L for toughened glass 12mm thick as in hinged doors, partitions, automatic doors and similar work including cutting to shape, drilling holes required.

M&L for Providing and fixing 10mm thick plaster of paris ceiling (Gypsum anhydrous) in double frame pattern suitable for grooved type of flase ceiling to facilitate aesthetic lighting, design as approved by Accepting officer to flat surface over 2nd class soft wood fillets or metal frame work and reinforced with G.I. wire mesh (Fillets, metal frame work and G.I. wire mesh paid separately). Contractor shall be well versed with the typical design of the false design. The details of the design may be obtained from Contract section. The area of false ceiling shall be measured flat with double framing.

M&L for GI frame work for seamless ceiling comprising of Gl perimeter channnel 0.55 mm thick with two unequal flanges of 20 and 30 mm and web of 27 mm fixed to surrounding wall using nylon sleeves and screws at 450 mm centre to centre/intermediate channel 0.9 mm thick having two equal flanges of 15 mm each and web of 45 mm suspended from soffit at approx 900 mm centre to centre with Gl cleat and steel expansion fasteners with and including ceiling section (not exc 1.2 m length) of 0.55 mm thickness having kurled web of 50 mm and flange of 26 mm each with lips of 10.5 mm fixed to the intermediate channel with connecting clips across the intermediate channel at 457 mm centre to centre.

S&F for Veneered decorative plywood 12mm thick, grade 1 (with BWR resin) with decorative face veneers on one face; fixed with screws to timber frame work

M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces including for peeling of old putty, scrubbing the surfaces to remove all the loose particles and applying 2 mm thick wall care putty,a coat of primer and applying two coats of oil bound distemper on walls complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix in repairs GI bracket pipe of size 32 mm dia medium grade of 1.2 mtr long bent to shape hot or cold suitable for street light fitting and making the one end of GI pipe bracket suitable for fixing of any type street light fitting and shall be fixed on wall surfaces. The bracket pipe shall be welded to the MS strip of size 32mmX 5mm thick at three places for purpose of giving strengthening to the bracket pipe and fixing with necessary suitable nuts,bolts & washers and removing of old unserviceable item complete all as specified and directed.
