CONVERSION OF OLD RUSTED CI PIPE LINES TO DI PIPE LINES FOR EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY AT FORT AND OLD CANTT UNDER GE (EAST) ALLAHABAD.

Amount

Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes,laying of pipe lines and cables etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in hard and dense surfaces(Road cutting bituminus or concrete pavement/hard standing ), not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes,laying of pipe lines and cables etc. not exceeding 10 Sqm plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out including making good of road surface with bituminous or concrete pavement/hard standing to match the existing surfaces complete all as specified and directed at site be Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Permission required from civil authority / department prior to executing of work will be responsibility of contractor and cost for the same shall deemed to be included in unit quoted rate by the contractor.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removing of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and deposited where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out water main of size 150 mm dia (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out water main of size 200 mm dia (including all fittings) with spigot and socket ends and lead joints including burning out joints and recovering complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying in trenches Ductile iron welded double flanged Pipe 150 mm dia class 9 complete all as specified and directed. Note : Jointing and jointing materials shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of this schedule.

M&L for ductile iron fittings or Special for flanged ends size up to 200 mm bore pipes conforming to IS ;1538 like bends (any radious and angle) taper any type ( Straight, and increasing decreasing or double socket etc) tail pieces single branches, Y junction double branches, croses, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Earth work and flange joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective item of schedule 'A'/BOQ. But screwing, threading including lathe work for fixing of joints/fittings or as required at site shall deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

S&F 150mm bore size sluice valve of approved make, heavy duty both ends flanged class PN 1.6 I ISI marked with high tensile steel spindle cast iron hand operated wheel & Cap top nuts,bolts & washers including 3mm thick rubber gasket joint including taking out old existing sluice valves, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 200mm bore size sluice valve of approved make, heavy duty both ends flanged class PN 1.6 I ISI marked with high tensile steel spindle cast iron hand operated wheel & Cap top nuts,bolts & washers including 3mm thick rubber gasket joint including taking out old existing sluice valves complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for construction of brick masonry valve pit of size 1050 mm X 1050 mm X 1050 mm (internal dimensions of chamber) depth to be reckoned from the top of PCC in foundation to top of MS cover with MS sheet cover 3mm thick including frame of angle iron 40 X 40 X 6 mm with locking arrangement and lifting handle including painting two coats of black synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer etc including brick work in one brick thick wall in cement mortar 1:4, 15mm thick plastering in cement mortar 1:4 (internally on all brick wall and external upto 15cm below ground level) and necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil, returning, filling in, disposal of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr 15 cm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 in PCC foundation projected by 15cm all round from the outer face of brick wall PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 in coping complete all as specified and directed at site by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for rubber or fibre board gasket flanged joints and fitting suitable for 150 mm bore DI pipe with suitable size nut bolt and washer of required numbers complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rubber or fibre board gasket flanged joints and fitting suitable for 200 mm bore DI pipe with suitable size nut bolt and washer of required numbers complete all as specified and directed.
