Manning & Operation of electrically operated lifts fully automatic/ manual lifts of capacity 13 passengers/ 06 Passengers/ 08 Passengers/ Goods lifts of any capacity to serve any Nos of floor 08 hrs daily in one shift from 0830 Hrs to 1630 Hrs excluding Sundays & holidays, by employing Rescue cum lift attendant excluding Sundays and alternate Saturdays, including taking care from any pilferage, theft or damage of lifts etc complete all as directed for the following buildings:-

All as per item No 1.00 above but for following 5 bldgs to be attended by 01 No rescue cum lift attendant :- (a) 11/MFAB-02 Nos Lifts (b) 12/MFAB (Front side)-01 No Lift. (c) 12/MFAB (Rear side) -01 No Lift. (d) 20/MDDHP-01 No Lift. (e) 25/MOUT-01 No Lift. Note : for item No 2.00:- One lift attendant to be employed in 06 Nos Lifts per shift.

All as per item No 1.00 above but for 5 bldgs to be attended by 01 No rescue cum lift attendant :- (a) 22/Mout -01 No Lift. (b) 70/MMER -01 No Lift. (c) 70/MMER DGE Complex -01 No Lift. (d) 99/NDIC -01 No Lift. Note for item No 3.00:- One lift attendant to be employed in 04 lift per shift.

All as per item No 1.00 above but for 5 bldgs to be attended by 01 No rescue cum lift attendant :- (a) 95/PM Bldg -2 Nos Lift. Note for item No 12.00:- One lift attendant to be employed in 02 Lift per shift.

Note :- (i) Passes will be processed alongwith (after verification on signed certificate, Pass shall not be granted without submission of qualification proof & experience certificate for lift operator. In case of OEM, the qualification mentioned in note is not applicable which shall be verified by Engineer-in-Charge before issue of passes

(ii) Contractor shall submit ID proof, Residential proof, Bank A/C details to department and obtain approval of Engineer-in-Charge before employing a person as Operator (iii) Payment to employees shall be done by crossed cheque through Aadhaar linked bank account only and it shall not be less than minimum fair wages as per act in vogue. In case payments are made in current coin or currency notes, contractor shall submit certificate alongwith undertaking of employee that asking for payment other than by cheque or by crediting in the bank account of the empolyee. The contractor shall submit proof to Engineer-in-Charge before claiming any payment. (iv) Lift operator (semi skilled) shall be available with lift cell as per the shift timings specified in the tender and he will report to JE E/M in-Charge or Lift Cell in-Charge. In case of emergency he will function according to their direction. If he is found absent or move without intimating to in-Charge of Lift Cell or JE E/M he will be treated as absent for the said shift and recovery to this effect for Rs 1500/- per shift shall be affected.(v) Payment as per quoted rate shall also be deducted in addition to the penalty as specified above. (vi) In case of malfunctioning if any noticed, lift operator shall intimate to the lift cell. The individual employed as lift operator should has minimum qualification of ITI course equivalent from state or central board

(vii) In case of any necessity for rescue operation or accident, Rescue Operator shall be capable of rescue the passenger and reacting to the situation (accident etc) Rescue operator engaged for rescue operation shall immediate attend the complaint within 30 minutes failing which penalty at Rs 500/- per hour or part thereof shall be levied (Vii) Contractor shall submit the labour licenece VAT as applicable as per latest laws/acts & Copy of GST Regn registered number issued by concerned authority. (ix) Insurance coverage, compensation if any applicable or necessitated due to mis operation of lift shall be the responsibility of contractor. The quantum of compensation shall be assessed based on the BOO composing of Lift Inspector of Maharashtra State, representatives of both agencies carrying out M&O works and routine maintenance work of lift and members from department. (x) Contractor has to submit proof of payment of EPF subscription made by him as applicable as per latest laws/acts alongwith RAR failing which RAR will not be progressed for payment.

(xi) The rates quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to be included provision of all latest labour laws / regulations including all relevant taxes as applicable. (xii) The bidders are advised not to quote rate less than minimum fair wages as circulated by competent authority. If the quoted amount is less than the estimated cost of work mentioned in BOQ i.e Rs 48,79,200.00, the lowest bidder will have to deposit FDR/BGB as elaborated herein after in favour of Accepting Officer within 07 days of opening of financial bid (Cover No 2). The deposited amount shall be the difference between estimated cost mentioned in BOQ i.e Rs 48,79,200.00 and amount quoted by lowest bidder. FDR/BGB shall be released only after satisfactory completion of work. If the contractor fails to pay minimum wages to employees, the department shall have right to withhold the said amount which will be verified by GE. The decision of Accepting Officer regarding amount to be withhold shall be final and binding. The withhold amount will be utilised by GE for payment to employees if contractor fails to pay minimum wages and balance amount if any shall only be released. If the lowest bidder fails to deposit the amount as stated above within 07 days, the contractor shall be banned for 06 months & his bid shall be rejected. The contractor shall sumbit 03 Nos of BGBs/FDRs of equal amount as mentioned above. The BGBs/FDRs validity shall be 04 months, 08 month & 12 months respectively for the purpose of encashment/ release as the case may be. (xiii) The rates quoted shall be inclusive of suitable reliver wherever sundays & holidays are mentioned for working
