Construction of Link Road to Village Kohari Km 0/000 to 3/000 in District Solan (HP) Under PMGSY-IV Batch-I. Package No. HP-11-192

Excavation in soil in hilly area in all heights and depths in all kinds of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necesary precautions against soil erosion, damages to hill side,water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side .Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) .All earth work in cutting/excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines ,grades,sides slopes,width,camber,super-elevation and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge in conformity with the requirement of MoRD technical specification for Rural Road, Section. 300 & 1600 to achive designed formation width including hauling and stacking of materials useful for constrcution at suitable sites safe manner and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load and animal transport and mechanical means along with its levelling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. During the mobilisation period, contractor should take the advanced x-sec in 15 m interval of whole road length in the presence of Engineer-in-charge or his representative. In case the advanced x-sec has been taken in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge representative, in that case the same has to be got approved from Engineer-in-Charge. The land for dumping sites shall be arranged by the contractors himself and nothing extra shall be paid on this account,filling of unevenness blind age and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for smooth riding.The recovery for stones ,whether useful or 2968.74 (Two thousand Nine hundred sixty two point seven four) cubic metre at the rate of Rs 300/-only (Rupees three hundred only ) per cubic meter shall be effected on prorata basis in all circumstances .Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor ,which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases.

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per MORD Technical Specification Section 300. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drain and Parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling /wedging out rocks (Where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 and 1600 and as per direction of the Engineer- In – Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any lead and lift including dressing of sides, bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layer not executing 150 mm (one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water ) upto any depth any quantam of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing weapholes in brick masonry /stone masonry /plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100mm (one hundred milimetre) dia (inner dia) PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slop of 1(v);20 (H) towards drawing face complete as per drawings and MoRD technical specifications section 1200 and as per entire satisfaction,directin by Engineer-In-Charge and including carriage of materails with in all leads and lifts.The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm (four millimetre) dia GI wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm (one hundred millimetre into one hundred millimetre) mesh (woven diagonally) including 10 % (ten percent) extra for laps and joints laid with stone boulders weighing not less than 40 kg (forty kilogram) each as per drawing and MORD technical specifications section 1300 including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental . Construction of 1st layer Bio enzyme (100 mm) based soil stablised layer (accredited by IRC) to a required thickness as per manufacturer design with local soil material/gravel/murram, having CBR greater than Equal to 5% and treating it with Bio Enzyme in the ratio 1L for 12.5 cum soil , spreading in uniform layer with motor grader on prepared surface. mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density complete as per technical specification incl all labour, materials, like soil and metal, equipments etc., complete, including Supervision (Supervisor shall be provided by Bio Enzyme Vendor) as per the directions of the Engineer incharge of the work . Bio Enzyme Supervisor accomodation, food and local transport will be in scope of Contractor.The soil will have clay percentage by hydrometry between 8% to 30%, including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, and any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

(eight to one hundred) static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, including applying and brooming, stone screening type-B of size 11.2mm ( eleven point two milimetres) nominal size at the rate of 0.18cum (zero point one eight cubic metres) per ten square metres and to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 400 and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer – in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on the prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface with Hydraulic brooms and spraying primer at the rate 1.00 Kg. (Zero point eight five kilogram) per square metre using one part of bitumen emulsion SS-I and two parts of water mixed with Nano technology Tera prime emulsion @ 1% (One percent) of weight of emulsion by mechanical means as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 500 as per the entire satisfaction and directions of Engineer – in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads,lifts and other incidentals . Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-I) on the prepared bituminious surface cleaned with hydraulic broom and spraying with bitumen emulsion pressure distributor at the rate 0.250 Kg (Zero decimal two five zero kilogram) per Square metre using one part of bitumen tack emulsion RS-I and two parts of water mixed with Nano technology nanotac @ 1.4% (One decimal four percent) of weight of emulsion as per MORD technical specification section 500, and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge, including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Providing, laying and rolling of close-graded Mix Seal Surfacing surfacing material of 20 mm thickness composed of 11.2 mm to 0.09 mm (Type-A) @ 0.338 kg/per ten square meter aggregates using penetration grade bitumen @ ie binders content @27.50kg/10sqm or 5.11% by weight and minimun density of MSS should be 2.10 gm/cc to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 8-10 kN static roller and finishing to required level and grades as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 500 including all leads, lifts and carriage of materials complete as per entire saisfication of the Engineer in Charge. Providing and Laying of Interlocking Concrete Block Pavements having thickness 80 mm shall consist of a surface layer of appropriate sized concrete paving blocks paved and compacted over a thin bedding sand layer of specified grading, which is spread over a properly constructed and profiled base course and is bounded by properly installed edge restraints. The joints shall be filled by fine sand o specified grading. The work shall include supplying laying and paving of blocks including all materials, labour and equipment and performing all operations in connection with the laying of ICBP as per MORD Technical Specification section 1500 including the cost of form work and hauling of metarial in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfication and direction of Engineer in charge.The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax or any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Construction of unlined surface drains of average cross-sectional area 0.40 sqm (zero decimal four zero per square metre) in soil to specified lines, grades, levels and dimensions. Excavated material to be used in embankment as per Technical Specification Clause 307 and as directed by the Engineer-In-charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Painting lines, dashes, arrows, etc. on roads in two coats on new work with ready mixed road marking paint conforming to IS:164 on bituminous/concrete surface, including cleaning the surface of all dirt, dust and other foreign matter, demarcation at site and traffic control as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 1700 including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Collection of hardwood cuttings from appropriate approved species, from sources within all lead of the road, including trimming the sterms and making the cuttings, and transporting while wrapped in damp material as per specificationsas per direction of Engineer – in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental . Planting unrooted hardwood cuttings (2.0 m in length and 3.0 to 8.0 cm (three to eight centimetre) in diameter) of appropriate approved species on slopes, including final preparation of cuttings, preparing lines, digging trenches to specified dimensions and forming fascines as per direction of Engineer – in- Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental . The rate is including octroi, royality, Malkana, toll tax, and any other taxes imposed by the Government but excluding GST.

Road side tree planting containerzed tree and shurbs including potting, transplanting, compacting and mulching on slopes 30 (thirty) degree to 60 (sixty) degree pits size 30 cm (thirty centimetre) diametre into 30cm (thirty centimetre) depth.
