PROVISION OF GEN SET AT 92 BASE HOSPITAL AT BB CANTT, SRINAGAR

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of silent, Diesel engine driven factory assembled, floor mounted generating set of capacity 320 KVA/ 256 KW at 0.8 power factor or nearest higher size, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 Hz, 1500 RPM as per IS 10001/10002 to take 10% over load complete with safety control and metering equipments mounted on and including common base frame with acoustic enclosure (canopy), weather proof as per Latest CPCB-IV+ norms, powder coated all as per manufacturer's instructions manual and all as specified and comprising of the items/ accessories listed here in after:-

(A) Prime Mover :- Directly coupled diesel engine, water cooled suitably de-rated of matching BHP (not less than 395 BHP) for driving 320 KVA capacity, alternator electric start, four stroke confirming to latest IS-10001/10002 for continuous running and capable for taking 10% over load for 01 hour complete at 1800 meter Altitude above mean sea level and operating temperature range between -15 degree C to +40 degree C at Srinagar Area (J&K) with cold starting kit alongwith following accessories:- (i) Fly wheel to suit flexible coupling. (ii) Flexible coupling with guards. (iii) Air cleaner with filters. (iv) Lubricating oil filter (v) Heavy duty radiator assembly with fan. (vi) Anti-vibration pad as recommended by manufacturers. (vii) PT pump with electronic gevernor of suitable capacity. (viii) Self starter 24 volts DC. (ix) Necessary arrangement for charging battery. (x) Maintenance free battery 12 volts , duly charged (as per manufacturer design), capacity as supplied by manufacturer and as recommended by manufacturer alongwith flexible copper battery lead and connector. as approved by GE. (xi) Battery rack made out of MS angle iron 40 mm x 40 mm x 5 mm & 150 mm beight - 01 No.

(xii) Standard safety device. (xiii) Daily services fuel tank for full running capacity of DG set for min 12 hours enclosed within the canopy all as per CPCB with lever indicator inlet, fuel outlet drain plug, air vent and locking arrangements etc including fuel pipe connections with connected GI pipe medium grade from fuel tank to DG set and over flow from the DG set to fuel tank complete with gate valve. (ixv) Exhaust system with Retrofit emmission control device as per CPCB-IV+ norms shall be provided with thermal insulation by using fire retardant/ non igniting foam conforming to BS-4735 to prevent excess heat radiation on the engine and safe for operator. (xv) Mechanical panel having following accessories :- (aa) Digital Lubrication oil temperature guage - 01 No. (ab) Digital Lubrication oil pressure guage - 01 No. (ac) Digital Water temperature guage - 01 No. (ad) Starting switch with key - 01 No. (ae) Battery voltmeter. (af) Indicator lamp etc. (ag) Digital Ammetar DC-01 No. (ah) Digital RPM meter-01 No. (aj) Safety measures : (i) Low lubricant oil pressure trip. (ii) High coolent temp trip. (iii) Engine over speed trip. (iv) Battery charging alternator. (v) Emergency stop pressed.

(B) Alternator :- 320 KVA at 0.8 power factor, self regulated 3 phase with neutral 415 volts 50 Hz, 1500 RPM as per IS : 13364 complete with automatic voltage regulator and foot mounted including making cable connection. The salient feature of alternator are as under :- (i) Voltage regulation under static condition + 1.5%. (ii) Class 'H' insulation. (iii) Permanently lubricating bearing. (iv) Capable to take 10% over load for one hour for every 12 hours. (C) AMF/CONTROL PANEL :- Supply, installation, test and commissioning of Control AMF Panel : AMF control panel inside the floor mounted acoustic enclosure or outside suitable for 320 KVA DG set with by pass assessment including all necessary operating and control device (to meet the requirement of above capacity plus 25% over load) such as contactors, MCCBs, CT's, volts meter, Ammeter, indicating lamp, frequency meter, energy meter with protection fuses for panel instrument battery charging ststem with indicator and cut off relays low and high oil pressure, high speed over load and earth fault protection, reverse current protection duly wired copper conductor cable and cable connection with lugs/thimbles complete as recommended by manufacturers and as directed. (D) Repair tools and 2 years maintenance spare parts as per following :-

Repair Tools :- (i) Ring spanner set of 10-01 set. (ii) Screw driver 6”, 8”, 12”, 14” & 24”-02 each. (iii) Spanner set of 01-01 set. (iv) Adjustable spanner 12” – 04 Nos. (v) Cutting pliers – 01 No. (vi) Techo meter- 01 No. (vii) Tools kit box (only box) – 01 No 2 Years Spare :- (a) Fan belt set complete - 01 No. (b) Lub oil filter - 01 Set. (c) Fuel filter - 01 Set. (d) Service manual and spare part catalog with guarantee card. (e ) Sock treatment chart dully framed - 01 Set. (f) First Aid Box - 01 set. (g) Fire extinguisher form - 01 set. (h) Fire extinguisher (electricity ) - 01 set E) ACCOUSTIC ENCLOSURE :- OEM made Acoustic enclosure (canopy) suitable for 320 KVA DG with the following provisions/ specifications :- (i) The enclosure fabricated out of CRCA sheet of 14 SWG suitable to accommodate the DG Set properly. (ii) The sheet metal components are hot dip seven tank pretreated. (iii) It is pure polyester based powder coated (inside as wall as outside). All nuts/bolts/hardwares are zinc coated with salt spray test as per ASTMB- 117. (iv) Battery is accommodated in a tray in the enclosure.

(v) The doors are fitted with gasket with high quality EPON gasketed to avoid leakage of sound. (vi) Sound proofing of enclosure is done with high quality rock wool/mineral wool conforming to IS 8131 of 50 mm thickness and density of 96 kg/cum. (vii) The wool is further covered with fiber glass cloth and perforated powder coated sheet, insulation level conforming to UL 94 HF1 class flamability. (viii) A special residential silencer is provided within the enclosure to control exhaust noise. (ix) Specially designed alternators are provided to control sound at air entry to the container and exhaust from the container. (x) Adequate ventilation is provided to meet requirement for combustion and heat removal. If required a blower is used to meet total air requirement and air changes. (xi) Temperature of enclosure does not exceed beyond 50 degree C of ambient temperature. (xii) The enclosure is provided with “high enclosure temperature” safety device. (xiii) There is provision of emergency shutdown from out side the enclosure. (xiv) There is arrangement for proper illumination inside the canopy. (xv) Noise level is not more than75 DB (A) at 1 mtr distance. (xvi) Approved by CPCB-IV+ norms.

M&L for on load change over switch 630 Amps capacity suitable for 3 phase, 4 pole, 415 Volts, SS enclosure, font handle operated type including necessary lugs,glands.,nuts,bolts etc.,complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 300.00 sqmm single core (laid in floor/duct) including aluminium lux required size for connection, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode size 60 cm x 60 cm, 6 mm thick burried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 metres below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 metre below ground level, connected to galvanised iron or steel, earth strip 32 x 6 mm size by means of nuts, bolts check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel, earth wire protected by galvanised iron pipe 15mm bore, medium grade and connected to main switch board or main control board as directed and including concrete pit in PCC 1:3:6 type C-1(using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), pre-cast RCC cover slab 30 cm x 30 cm x 10 cm with one lifting handle made of 8 mm dia MS bar funnel wire mesh, 20 mm bore galvanised iron or steel pipe medium grade for watering charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers, necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil complete all as shown in electrical Plate No 5 of MES Schedule Part- I and testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (Concrete pit shall be 20 cm to 30 cm away from main pit).
