01-SOR-1: Mumbai Territory

Supply, Tranportation & Installation of pre fab-RCC OFC Chamber (specification & dimensions as per drawing attached) & filling with river sand & anti termite chemical after jointing work is done. This include transportation of all required material to site.

Supply and fixing of route markers engraved and painted on both sides along the OFC route at every 50 mtrs. Details as per drawing no. RAILTEL/WR/OT/DFC/006

CC (cement concreting ) in 1:3:6 ratio of cement, sand and metal up to the thickness of 200 mm in 300 mm wide trench.Curing proper setting of CC must be ensure.

Supply, transportation & laying of 50 mm dia GI Pipe IS1239 medium grade with holes drilled as an antitheft measure coupling etc. on bridges/trenches/other surfaces with CC at every 1m. Concreting rates shall be separate as per item 4

Supply, transportation & laying of 100 mm dia GI Pipe IS1239 medium grade with holes drilled as an antitheft measure with threads on either end for coupling etc. and suitable 5 Mtr. GI clamps as per site requirement on bridges/trenches/building entry/other surfaces.

Excavation of Trench (in all types of soil but excluding rocky soil) at 1.2 mtr. depth & 300 mm wide at the bottom of trench including clearing of bushes, trees etc and refilling of the trench by excavated soil and ramming after laying of cables as per instruction. Wherever excavation of trench is not possible up to 1.2 mtrs as per EIC due to terrain conditions, the payment for trenching & backfilling will be paid on prorata basis as per clause. The approval of the EIC & CA of the work will be required for such dispensation.

Laying of PLB HDPE duct by HDD method at depth of 1.65m or more (For a single PLB pipe) / Horizontal drilling by using by machine at a depth of 1.65 mtr. Below the formation level of earth. Including inserstion of 02 HDPE Duct as per site requirement.

Cutting hard rock for 0.3 mtr depth of trench by blasting/chiseling/jack hammering.

Pulling and Blowing of 24F OFC in already laid HDPE duct in trench as per EIC.

Laying of HDPE duct in open trenches/ DWC pipes/RCC pipes /G.I pipes/ etc as per instruction of EIC.

Hiring of Truck/ Vehicle (As & when Required) for transportation of goods. The Rates includes fuel & driver and all others charges.

Preparation of Cable Route Plan after carried out survey the work as per the 13 engineering practices are mention in the tender document the plan should be made in Auto Cad indicating the depth, all types of pipe , CC, joint/ loop locations , markers railway sinages etc. made in A-3 size page sample plan attached in technical section approximately 1- 1.5 Kms. on 1 x A-3 page. (The GIS cordinate of the cable route should be indicated.)

Manual Horizontal Augur boring for crossing of Rail/ Roads at depth of 1.65 mtrs from ground level including insertion DWC pipe of 120/103.5 mm OD/ID & insertion of two HDPE ducts in it.

Protective works to enable the OFC laying in GI Pipe perforated of 50mm OD on girder bridges, masonry bridges, Tunnels cuttings, Culverts & other specific location.

Supply of Straight Joint Encloser & splicing of optical fiber (2X48) :- This includes (1) Supply of straight joint encloser (SJC) complete with alal accessories with latest amendments (2) Splicing of optical fiber cables.

Splicing & Termination of OFC & FDMS 48F as per specificatoions & testing. This include all relevant type of materials for splicing.

OFC Terminal Jointing (24 Fiber). This includes Splicing of all the 24 Fibers/dropping of fiber/pigtail as required.

Supply & installation of Straight Joint Enclosures (SJC) complete with all accessories as per TEC specification no. GR/OJC- 02/02 Sep 2003 with latest amendment for 24 fiber of reputed make, Raychem make model FOSC 400 B4 24F or RSICS /3 M /TYCO /TE make only.

96F SC Type FMS for single mode armored OFC with 96 no of SC/PC 0 db connector & 1.5m length pigtails & splice trays, suitable for mounting on 19"rack with 480mm(w)x300mm(d) & 20 4U max(h). The FMS should have telescopic slider & adaptors have to fixed on separate removable patch plates for easy mtc.of adapter pigtails in the FMS during O&M operations.The top cover of theFMS should be removable type with latch lock. The FDMS should be supplied with all accessories like splice protection sleeves.Tissue papers, isopropyl alcohol, cableties, hose pipe, Fiber route chart. The shelf has to be madeof 1.2mm CRCA material & 600 microns powder coating.

Supply of 48F (24*2) SC Type FDMS

Supply of DWC pipe of dia.120/103.5 OD/ID mm with couplers as required for metallic road, track crossing and LC gates.
