Taking down carefully aluminium/copper conductor point wiring (light,fan,socket or powerpoint) complete including batten, conduit and fittings such as switches,ceiling roses, sockets, brackets, light fittings, switch board etc. and removing (except those to be reused shall be kept in safe custody at the site ) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors etc.to match with the existing complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour point wiring for light point/ fan point/ bell point, one light/fan/bell point controlled by one, one way switch using 1.5 sqmm nominal cross sectional area multistranded copper conductor, PVC insulated unsheathed (HR-FRLSH) cables,1100 volts grade single core in and including 20 mm dia or higher size PVC concealed/surface conduits and fittings of medium grade, including sunk cast pressed steel terminal box made out of MS sheet 1.25 mm thick for mounting of fittings like switch, socket and fan regulator with 3 mm thick hylum laminated sheet cover including cutting chases pinning in for concealed conduit wiring and making good of disturbed surface not exc 15 cm girth and 1.5 sqmm nominal cross sectioanl area multistranded copper conductor PVC insulated unsheathed (HR-FRLSH) earth wire,1100 volts grade single core and connecting to earth dolly and brass screws, washers etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanised mild steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6.0mm thick, burried directly in ground to a depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all around the plate, using GI strip 25 x 4 mm as earth strip electrode bolted or rivetted to earth plate at one end and connected to equipments at another end, GI earth strip encased in and including 40 mm dia GI 'light grade' pipe from upper end of earth plate upto equipments,20 dia bore GI pipe 'light grade' as water pipe from earth chamber to upper edge of earth plate, Test point , GI funnel with wire mesh fixed on water pipe and PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in pit chamber and RCC pit cover 50mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1, duly reinforced with MS round bars 6mm dia @ 100 c/c both ways with 10mm dia MS round bar as in lifting handles, excavation, earth work including laying the GI pipe concealed in floor/wall all as described in electric plate of SSR Part I and testing on completion including taking down existing. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- If the desired earth resistance is not found, earthing shall be redone by the contractor at no extra cost to the department.
