3. The basic price is that corresponding for "SUITABLE 7 - SEATER VEHICLE" for 1200 kms run per month with Driver .
4. The actual usage shall be reckoned from the Headquarter at First Barrier, RR site and end there itself during official use.
5. The vehicle shall be maintained in good running condition with good upholstery, fitness, good tyres and shall commensurate with the image of BARC. The tyres of the vehicles shall be replaced periodically and always with brand new tyres and not retreated ones.
6. The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to periodic inspection by a representative of BARC officials whose decision is final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle.
7. The vehicle should be with a board " ON GOVERNMENT OF INDIA DUTY","BARC".7-seater vehicle" should preferably be in White Colour.
8. The cost of Fuel/Oil/Lubricant, maintenance of vehicle, wages of driver, all taxes, toll charges, parking charges , comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by the Contractor and BARC shall have no liability other than monthly charges towards usage of the vehicle.
9. Since the driver is engaged along with the vehicle, the contractor should required to engage skilled driver possessing valid driving license (Preferably professional) and also submit the following documents .
a.Registration Certificate of the vehicle.
b. Driver License of the driver
c.Valid Police Verification Certificate ( PVC) in respect of the driver.
d.Name, Address and Telephone No. of the driver.
e. Comprehensive Insurance Policy and Road Tax receipts of the vehicle.
10.The driver's of the vehicle shall maintain Log book supplied by Contractor and is required to obtain the signature of the user whenever the vehicle is used.
11.You are required to deploy same vehicle on day-to-day basis.
12.No revision of price shall be entertained during the period of contract.
13.In the event of breakdown of vehicle , alternative vehicle should be provided immediately .In case of failure to provide alternative vehicle within 2 hours, this centre would hire a vehicle on daily basis and the expenditure would be debited to your account besides imposing penalty of Rs. 500/- per day.
14.In case of absence of vehicle even for a day , proportionate payment towards a day will be deducted from monthly bill besides imposing a penalty of Rs. 500/-per day.
15.the charges for Extra KMS.over and above 1200 KMS. Is fixed to Rs. 7.00 ( Rupees Seven only ) per KM.
16. Since the Officials of BARC and departmental staff are expected to use the vehicle on 6 days a week , the vehicle shall be kept free on Sundays and necessary maintenance may be undertaken.

Extra over Item no.5 for AC in the Vehicle
Supplying man power alongwith necessary pans, spades, shovels, pickaxe, punjas, ropes, small specials spade, rain coats, safety shoes etc., minimum two number of labour per day upto maximum any number of labour as and when decided by Project Engineer to work for eight hours per day or monsoon peiod to carry out the cleaning of chocked drain gratings grills / hume pipes/ footpath by removing the dry leaves silt etc., and also carry out seasonable departmental work allotted by Project Engineer from time to time.
Supplying, stacking and laying of 230 mm thick rubble soling stones as under floor base including packing with smaller stone and compacting, ramming including spreading and consolidation of blinding material, murrum etc. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge
Labour charges for murum filling under floors of specified thick in layers of not exceeding 150 mm thickness including consolidation etc. complete (using murrum available at site)
Carrying out Civil Engineering works like surveying & leveling, checking of form work fabrication, reinforcement fabrication as per drawings, witnessing sample retrieval & testing for various construction materials, ensuring concrete ingredient ratio at batching plant and pouring of appropriate grade of concrete in plain and reinforced concrete works, ensuring proper mixing of approved ingredients & waterproofing admixtures for mortars and brickwork, plaster, flooring & waterproofing works, and other civil & PH works including supervision of construction safety as per BARC specifications & relevant documentation, compiling, binding and preparation of tender documents & Agreements overall as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes : (1) Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Technician having SSC with Trade certificate in Masonary/Plumber/Carpenter/Painter Trade of not less than one year duration from ITI/Government Recognised Vocational Training Institute or experienced Technician retired from Government service. (2) Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Technician for each job as Single Day work for 6 working days per week for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the Technician will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account . (3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per day as directed by Engineer-in -Charge. (4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis per day. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one Technician exclusively for the particular job. (5) The Technician should be engaged after scrutiny by EIC of CED, BARC and approved by Competent authority and the deployed Technician will report to BARC Engineer/ EIC. (6) The minimum notice period before change of technician is 1 (One) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1206/- per day of shortfall in notice period will be levied on the contractor.
Carrying out Construction safety implementation works like daily walk through survey, monitoring safe working procedures (SWP/SOP) and implementation of safety requirements, ensuring regular usage of safety gadgets by workers/staff, helping Engineer / Safety Officer to prepare various reports like Work Permit, Height Pass, Checklist etc., reporting unsafe conditions/acts to the site engineer and preparation of monthly safety reports all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Notes : (1) Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Safety Steward having minimum SSC with one year experience in Construction Safety field or SSC with certificate course in Construction Safety by MSME or equivalent Training Institute, with basic knowledge of First aid.(2) Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Safety Steward for each job as Single Day work for 6 working days per week for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintenance work, the person will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account.(3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per day as directed by Engineer-in -Charge.(4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one Safety Steward exclusively for the particular job.(5) The Safety Steward should be engaged after scrutiny by EIC of CED, BARC and approved by Competent authority and the deployed Safety Steward will report to BARC Engineer/ EIC. (6) The minimum notice period before change of Safety Steward is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1074/- per day of shortfall in notice period will be levied on the contractor.

(2) Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintenance work, the Engineer will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account. (3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per month as per requirement at site for the period mentioned in NIT. (4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one Engineer exclusively for the particular job. (5) Engineer should be engaged after scrutiny by EIC of CED, BARC and approved by Competent authority and the deployed Engineer will report to BARC Engineer/ EIC. (6) The minimum notice period before change of engineer is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1,580/- per day of shortfall in notice period will be levied on the contractor.
Checking material/equipment reaching at site as per specification. Ensuring safe delivery and storage of material at site, Maintaining hindrance register and attendance register of the contract staff. Supervising day to day activity at site and checking work is executed as per site use approved drgs, specification and BOQ. Carrying out installation of Electrical equipments like transformers, DG's UPS PCCs & MCCs etc., installing lighting systems, power distribution systems, checking of wiring & cabling work etc according to tender drawings and specifications. Checking of measurement with supported documents & submitting the site progress report timely. Regularly inspecting and maintaining existing working electrical systems with earth pit resistance measurement to ensure functionality. Working with existing project team of Civil, Mechanical and communicating with supervisors including supervision of electrical safety as per BARC specifications. The documentation compiling and filing as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (1)Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Technician having minimum SSC with Trade certificate in Electrician trade from ITI/Government Recognised Vocational Training Institute ( with one year experience) or experienced Technician retired from Government service. (2)Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Technician for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/ maintenance work, the Technician will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account. (6) The minimum notice period before the change of engineer is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1580/- per day shortfall in notice period will be levied on the contractor.

Maintaining record of all the challans and material movement. Maintaining hindrance and attendance register of the contract staff. Supervising day to day activity at site and checking work is executed as per site use signed off drgs, specification and BOQ. Resolving interferences at site, if any, keeping HQ in loop. Coordinating among all the agencies like electrical , civil, and HQ etc. involved in the work. Checking and ensure that installation and commissioning of equipment mentioned in BOQ such as Chillers, cooling towesr, pumps, blowers, AHUs, Valves, etc is carried out as per tender specs. Carrying out DP test of weld joints, making report which will have co-relation with the drawing(format shall be given subsequently). The report should be jointly signed by the department staff and contract person. Carrying out hydrotest of the piping system including valves, fittings etc as per specification and making report duly signed by the contractor and departmental staff (format shall be given subsequently). Carrying out tests/checking various parameters of each equipment during testing/commissioning of the Mechanical utility systems as specified in technical specifications. Recording joint measurements of the executed work. Checking as built drg submitted by the contractor. Checking of bill measurement submitted by the contractor. Daily progress report to be sent to HQ thru email(format shall be given subsequently). Site supervisor shall ensure quality control and good workmanship of installation at site. Shall ensure work is executed with all safety provisions applicable for labours, equipment and for site. Note : (1)Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Technician having minimum SSC with Trade certificate in Mechanical (fitting, welding) trade with from ITI/Government Recognised Vocational Training Institute (with one year experience) or experienced Technician retired from Government service.(2)Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Technician for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays,Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. The report should be jointly signed by the department staff and contract person. Carrying out hydrotest of the piping system including valves, fittings etc as per specification and making report duly signed by the contractor and departmental staff (format shall be given subsequently). Carrying out tests/checking various parameters of each equipment during testing/commissioning of the Mechanical utility systems as specified in technical specifications. Recording joint measurements of the executed work. Checking as built drg submitted by the contractor. Checking of bill measurement submitted by the contractor. Daily progress report to be sent to HQ thru email(format shall be given subsequently). Site supervisor shall ensure quality control and good workmanship of installation at site. Shall ensure work is executed with all safety provisions applicable for labours, equipment and for site. Note : (1) Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Degree holder (Mechanical) with 2 (two) year experience or Diploma (Mechanical) holder with 5 (five) year experience (Licentiate in Mechanical Engineering) conducted by Board of Technical Examinations / University/ Autonomous Govt / Govt recognized recognized Polytechnic/ Institute. (2) Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Engineer for each job for minimum 26 working days per month for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous execution or shutdown/maintenance work, the Engineer will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account. (3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per month as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. (4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one Engineer exclusively for the particular job. (5) Engineer should be engage after scrutiny by EIC of TSD, BARC and approved by Competent authority and the deployed engineer will report to BARC Engineer/EIC. (6)The minimum notice period before the change of engineer is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation, for not providing technical support, of Rs. 1580/- per day shortfall in notice period will be levied on the contractor.
Providing safety Personnel Protective Equipments (PPEs) for Engineers, supervisors and workers including transportation, delivery, storage in good condition etc. as instructed by Engineer in-charge.
Safety helmet- as per IS 2925 : 1984 (Reaffirmed 2000) or EN 397 CE approved including helmet refill with sweat band, chin strap, air slot for ventilation etc.
Safety shoe- as per IS:15298 Part 2 or EN 345
Full harness safety belt - conforming to EN 361 (IS:3521-1999) with twin braided rope lanyard having scaffolding hooks .
Ear muff- lightweight with adjustable ear cup as per IS:6996 ‐1973(Reaffirmed 1998) or EN 352‐1:2002
Hand Gloves - with 2 Thread Poly-cotton premium quality cotton as per IS:4770–1991 (Reaffirmed 2001)
Safety jackets - reflective jacket with fluroscent colour( green, yellow, orange) ,made of 110 gsm 100% Cotton Fabric
Safety goggles - with 180° field of vision of optical Class-1 meeting safety standard ANSI Z 87.1 High Impact Standard, CE Marked, conforming to EN 166 or IS 5983 (Reaffirmed 2002)
Providing and laying in position cement concrete of 1:4:8 (1 cement, 4 crushed sand, 8 graded stone aggregate of maximum size 20 / 40 mm) with minimum cement content as per the latest revision of the relevant IS code including consolidation, finishing, curing etc. complete as per specifications and drawings but excluding the cost of Form work shuttering, centering complete at all levels
Providing, centering, shuttering Form work using steel plates, timber planks for all types of structures including necessary strutting, proping, staging, supports, bracings etc. and deshuttering the same after the specified time all as per drawings, specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all levels
For Sub structure
Labour charges for constructing Random Rubble masonry using Rubble Stone available at site in foundation and plinth in C.M 1:6 (using crushed sand) including cost of bond stones, raking out joints or simultaneous flush pointing below ground level / plinth level, curing etc. complete as per drawings and specifications.
Providing and supplying of Hydra crane of 8 MT capacity for the collection and transportation of scrap terms, unservicable equipments from various location of BARC(F), Kota as and when required and as instructed by the Engineer-in-charge
Providing and supplying of JCB loader cum excavator including operator and helper executing the work like excavation, grading, levelling, debris cleaning and other works at various location of BARC(F), Kota as instructed by EIC as and when required.Notes: 1.The rates of Item No 21 & 22 shall be inclusive of machine, Fuel, Operator, Driver, Helper and other consumables etc. The contractor is required to engage skilled driver / Operator possessing valid driving license (Preferably professional). 2.The make and model of the vehicle should not be less than 8 Years old, roadworthy with all valid documents. 3.The vehicle should be free from all sorts of defects and will be subjected to inspection by a representative of BARC whose decision is final and binding as regards suitability of that particular vehicle. 4. The cost of POL, maintenance of vehicle including replacement of parts, fuel, etc., wages of driver, Motor Vehicle taxes, comprehensive insurance, etc. shall be payable by you and BARC shall have no liability towards usage of the vehicle. 5.The rates are inclusive of all taxes if any, excluding Goods & Service taxes (GST). 6. In and exit time at BARC(F), Kota premises shall be strictly considered for billing / measurements / payments. Log book duly countersigned by Engineer-In-Charge to be maintained. 7. Breakdown hours and lunch break timing shall not be considered for the payments. 8. Fraction of hours shall be rounded off to nearest half an hour at time of preparing the bill. 9. RAPS being a strategic Organization, all the operators, drivers should have good credentials and shall have valid PVC , Driving licenses and address proof. They should be in a position to understand Hindi / English. 10.Cost of damages to any Government movable/ immovable property in and around the site shall be entirely borne by the contractor. 11.Required number of Manpower shall be provided as per the instructions/ Duty slip. 12. The contractor shall follow all security rules & regulations of BARC issued from time to time and no claim whatsoever will be entertained in this regard. 13. The driver and the labourers shall work as per the instructions given by the departmental Officers. 14. Advance intimation will be given to the contractor about 'the requirement. 15. The Trucks along with labourers should report at 08:30 Hrs. 16. The normal working duty of the Hydra / JCB / Manpower will be 8 hours excluding half hour lunch break, work done for more than 8 hours will be calculated on pro-rata basis for each shift. 17. The contractor shall take the signature of the departmental authorities on duty completion slip daily after completion of the work.
Providing , supplying and fixing Venetian Vertical/Roller Blinds with all accessories and fabricating to required sizes etc as per approved design and approved Fabric complete all as directed by the Project Engineer.
