PART - I - CIVIL WORKS

Dismantling the all type of roof, partition with frame work, plastering, PCC and stacking the serviceable material identified location and disposing of unserviceable material outside premises i. e. MCGM dumping ground mechanical means etc. complete all as per specification & as directed by the E-I-Charge.

Providing, fabricating and fixing in position structural steel, conforming to IS 2062 shall be supplied by M/s Sail or Tata steel or M/s Rastriya Ispat Nigam Ltd. & steel corporation Ltd. From there plant. Grills of existing / approved patterned to windows including fabricating / welding to strengthening to existing M. S. Colum / beam, joints etc including cost of nut-bolts, welding, grinding etc and repairing existing M. S. Column, beams balustrades square bars, etc. using flat, bars, "I" section, channel section, M. S. flats, Angles, screw, concrete nails etc. of approved size and quality, including remove all mill scale or rust on steel column by scraping, chipping with steel wire brushes than smoothened rubbing with abrasive / sand paper including applying 1st coat of red oxide / Zink rich over a cleaned surface after drying of 1st coat (after 2/3 days of interval or manufacturer specification) apply 2nd coat of primer approved steel primer. After drying of primer coats two coats of epoxy paint shall be applied by spraying with specified intervals (2/3 days of interval or manufacturer specification) etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Repairs to the existing door frame of bath, W.C., bed. door etc. by replacing part of the frame with 2nd class teak wood at site of work by : i) Cutting of the damaged / decayed portion of the door frame without disturbing / removing of the existing frame. ii) Providing wood with 2nd class teak wood as per the existing frame for repairing of the damaged / decayed portion of the frame including making lap joints for jointing the new wood with old wood work by fixing necessary screws and synthetic adhesive etc. complete. iii) Fixing the repaired door frame in position with embedding the frame upto 50 mm depth in the floor and fixing coach screws to the wall including breaking of the floor for making pocket, applying two coats of bituminous paint to the surfaces of frames in contact with masonry / concrete, repairing floor with P.C.C. 1:2:4 finishing, including one coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer on new work and one coat of synthetic enamel paint over entire surfaces of frame etc. & disposing of debris outside colony etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing second class teak wood in frames of required sections for doors, windows, ventilators, partition, railing, battens & rafters etc. wrought framed and fixed in position including providing and fixing M.S. hold fasts of size 200 x 30 x 3 mm embedded in concrete block of P.C.C. 1:3:6 and labour for fixing frame in position including applying one coat of approved wood primer & two coats of synthetic enamel paint to the exposed surfaces and two coats of bituminous paint to the surfaces of frames in contact with masonry/ concrete etc. including removing the old damaged frames and transporting to Deptt. Stores and making the adjacent plaster good to match with existing surfaces, etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing C. P. wood battens of size 40 X 12 mm all around net all floors & location with 35/8 screws &brass nails including cost of screws, wastage in cutting, transportation etc. & including painted with two coat of synthetic enamel paint, removing the old damaged beading and disposing off to Departmental stores etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying & fixing 10/18 thick PVC integral free foam sheet in form of flush finish shutter, manufactured by M/s. Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. (Ex-cel sheet) or other equivalent approved make of white colour, solid section, extruded rigid, light weight sheet with fine & homogeneous closed cell structure with smooth, glossy, hard surface finish on both sides all edges to be smooth finish with mixture of PVC powder & solvent etc including jointing with tung & grove joint and fixing with appropriate salient, dismantling the existing plywood/A.C sheet shutters, removing and refixing of architraves with necessary screws/ nut-bolt stacking serviceable material and disposing off debris outside premises etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the EIC.

Supplying & fixing 25 mm thick PVC integral free foam sheet in form of flush finish shutter, manufactured by M/s. Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd. (Ex-cel sheet) or other equivalent approved make of white colour, solid section, extruded rigid, light weight sheet with fine & homogeneous closed cell structure with smooth, glossy, hard surface finish on both sides all edges to be smooth finish with mixture of PVC powder & solvent etc including jointing with tung & grove joint and fixing with appropriate salient, dismantling the existing plywood/A.C sheet shutters, removing and refixing of architraves with necessary screws/ nut-bolt stacking serviceable material and disposing off debris outside premises etc. complete all as per specification and as directed by the EIC.

Providing and laying Ceramic tiles in flooring/ dado, approved make & shade using 1st quality Spartex or other approved equivalent tile of size 600 x 300 mm / 400 mm x 300 mm over cement mortar 1:3, 20 mm thick backing, ( mixed with approved waterproofing compound @ 2% of cement) laying to line, level & plumb including cutting of tiles, including pointing the joints with neat white cement with matching pigment etc. including removing damaged dado / flooring and disposing of debris outside colony etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

a) For flooring using 300 mm x 300 mm x 6 mm or any other approved size - Non slippery ceramic tiles.

b) For dado / skirting using 600 mm x 300 mm x 6 mm thick or any other approved size ceramic tiles.

Half brick masonry using well burnt locally available bricks of approved quality in cement mortar 1:4 at all floors and levels including RCC 1:2:4, 115mm wide & 80mm thick stiffeners at every one metre height with 2 Nos. of 6 mm dia M.S. rods including form work, scaffolding, raking out joints, curing, etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

a) In partition walls with stiffeners.

Providing & applying cement based wall care putty in one coat of birla wall care putty of M/s Birla, stucco putty of M/s Jotun Champion putty of M/s Saint Gobain Gyproe India of other approved equivalent make over entire surface including preparing old painting surfaces by thoroughly scrapping oil bond distemper / acrylic emulsion paint / white washing including scaffolding, sand papering, removal of debris and disposing off the same to the MCGM dumping ground or at a nearby dumping ground etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Painting cement plastered surfaces / old wood /steel surface as mentioned below using enamel paint, acrylic emulsion paint of 1st quality of approved shade & make over one coat of approved primer including preparing surfaces, filling with putty wherever required, scaffolding & cleaning etc. complete all as per specifications & as directed by the EIC.

a) on wooden surfaces in two coats of synthetic enamel paint without primer

b) on steel surfaces with two finishing coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of steel primer.

C) on cement plaster surfaces with two coats of 1st quality acrylic emulsion paint over a one coat of approved primer

Applying three coat of melamine finished polishing on old wooden surfaces cladding, cabinet, ceiling, flooring with approved tint and make to obtain required finish over a coat of wooden filler including spray gun, sand papering cleaning, filling the holes, gaps, cracks and crevices with putty etc. including required scaffolding, covering material, tools and plant to give even shade etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing & erecting double bamboo scaffolding using minimum 75 mm dia best quality bamboo tied with coir rope & the horizontal & vertical members of the bamboos provided as required at spacing of not more than 900 mm apart both vertically & horizontally including providing cross supports as struts to tie the scaffolding properly to the building for maintenance / repair works of external surfaces of buildings as & when required including providing necessary safety belts to workers, dismantling the scaffolding after repair work is completed including cost of transportation, labour, safety belts etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Repairs to the steeply sloped, Mangalore tiled, pitched roofs of bldgs, by carrying out a thorough inspection identifying the broken, damaged, cracked, dislocated tiles, ridges, the roof underneath, carefully, without causing any damage while moving over the roof, including labour charges for removing the tiles, ridges, lowering to the ground, stacking at a near by directed place, hoisting them (old, retrieved / new)back to the respective roof level, (after the requisite repairs to the roof, which shall be measured separately hereunder are carried out), as also including providing new tiles / ridges to replace the damaged ones, fixing the tiles and ridges in position, in cement mortar 1:4,to proper line, level, slope, etc. including scaffolding taking all the necessary safety measures, precautions, viz. wearing the safety belts securing their ends to nearby firm base/support etc.& disposing of debris at municipal dumping ground all as directed by the Engineer in Charge.

Disposing of the unwanted wooden pieces, tree branches, twigs, dried leaves, Brocken glass, debris from DAE premises at OYC premises AnushaktiBhavan, city area to MCGM dumping ground at New Mumbai, disposing the debris by mechanical / truck including loading unloading the debris from premises including cost of labour, tools & plants, mechanical means etc. complete all as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.
