Repairs to pressure multi grade water filters of capacity 45 Cum/hour of make : ION EXCHANGE multigrade vertical type of working head 35 metres and discharge capacity 12 litres/sec comprising the following works including testing complete as directed. (a) Disconnecting and isolating the existing inlet and outlet pipe lines from the pressure filter and keeping aside the pipe lines carefully for reuse and removing complete filter media from the tanks. (b) Inspecting the interior tank surfaces thoroguhly and scrapping the rusted surfaces and preparing surfaces after removing the rust, mud or any damaged materials inside the tank and appying two coats of primer inside the tanks and two coats of epoxy anti rust painting suitable for potable water of any approved make. (c) packing the new filter media in layers of volume including all necessary connected items. (d) Replacing the broken nozzles as specified. (e) Cleaning of surfaces of all the nozzels, laterals and inlet and outlet headers and air release valves and other necessary maintenance works to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge. Note : (1). The servicing / repair shall be done through OEM authorized person. (2). Filter media, Nozzles and necessary fabrication works shall be measured and paid separetely under relevant Sch 'A' items. (3) The job includes the disposal of old filter media in the place not exceeding 500mtrs (4) Items required shall be measured under supply only and fixing deemed to be included in this job.

Dismantling and taking out unserviceable centrifugal pump set (Pump & Motor ) of capacity 7.5HP, of any Make/Model from its foundation by disconnecting water and electric connections, decoupling of pumps from motor shifting the Pump/Motor as directed and shifting to workshop for repair of unserviceable pump and carryout the following repair: a) Opening the pump completely part by part without damaging any parts,descaling and cleaning of all parts for inspection and finding serviceability / unserviceability of the parts. b) Repair and assembling of pumps by using existing serviceable parts and replacement of unserviceable parts as directed including necessary machining works required for proper setting and smooth functioning to achieve rated discharge of the pump. c) Re install the pump at its existing foundation, coupling the pump with motor, setting allignment, making electric and water connections, finally testing the pump set for its trouble free functioning complete.

Note : (i) Spare parts required for replacement shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate items as supply only. (ii) Unit rate is deem to be included for replacement of all Packing glad nuts, Packing gland, Packing, Impellar lock nuts , nuts and lock washer and any gaskets etc, required during repair. (iii) Any minor parts (Total cost less than Rs 200/) which are not covered under this schedule but inscapable requirement for repair shall also be deem to included with the unit rate quoted.
