SCHEDULE `A' PART - I is not prepriced by MES and Contractors/Bidders quote there rates in column 5 only.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in soft /loose soil complete all as specified.

Dismantling laid dry stone sett paving of any description or thickness upto 300 mm in sub base of existing roads and removal from MOD land complete all as specified.

Rough excavation not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/loose soilcomplete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance exc 250mtr but n. exc 500mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5mtr above the starting point complete all as specified.

Rolling & consolidation of formation surfaces using power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed. Note: Minimuum CBR value of 10% to be maintened upto 500 mm depth of sub grade.)

M&L 200 mm thick in two layers (100 mm Thick each layers) (compacted thickness) Granular Sub-Base of shingle or gravel, spread rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber as required over compacted sub grade complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 225 mm thick (compacted thickness) WMM, in three layers (75 mm each layers), using grading requirement as per Table 400-11 of yellow book of MORTH using mech paver and rolled with vibratory type roller of 8-10 tonne capacity to required camber and gradient including spreading rolling and consolidated as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying evenly a priming / track coat with bituminous primer @ 10kg per 10sqm using VG-10 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premixed bituminous macadam with 4% of binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-40 laid with self propelling mechanical paver, rolled & compacted to an air voids of 4% or lower in the field required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness upto maximum 50 mm) to make good the cut edges of roads etc complete all a specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for bituminous premix SDBC (design mix) 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.50% binder content by weight of total mix using paving bitumen VG-40 any penetration laying with mechanical paver, rolled to an air voids of 4% or lower in the field complete to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for continuous brick edging using full bricks of sub class "B" old size bricks with width equal to width of bricks laid dry on end vertically including necessary earth work, embedding bricks at required depth and tamping ground around brick and removal of surplus soil to a distance n. exc 50mtr complete all as specified.

M&L for painting lines on roads with hot applied thermoplastic compound paint, 10 cm width confirming to MORTH specification mechanically applied to form a 1.50 mm thick film on road including cleaning and drying the exisiting road surfaces to ensure dust, oil, grease and moisture free surfaces before applying the paint etc complete all as specified and directed by engr-in-charge.

M&L for painting/ marking lines/ side lines/ zebra lines etc on roads pavemement and like of any description exceeding 10 cm wide with road marking thermoplastic compound paint confirming to MORTH specification hot applied with mechanically to form a 1.50 mm thick film on road including cleaning and drying the exisiting road surfaces to ensure dust, oil, grease and moisture free surfaces before applying the paint etc complete all as specified and directed by engr-in-charge.

S&F dual directional reflective ABS plastic body cat eye at impact resistant plastic stud 100 x100mm x 19 mm double molded solid state having ultra violet resistant color(white/red/yellow) with plastic strip containing 86 beads min retro reflective glass beads at colored white / yellow/red to be side provided with steel zinc plated nails of dia 12mm and length 120mm for to road by hammering along with epoxy based to component system complete all as specified and directed by EIC.

S & F delinators DA 952(GP) of size 700 x 100 x 50mm ABS round body fitted with two nos 100mm dia reflwctive reflectors in white / yellow combination and moulded on MS pipe of 50mm dia duly powdered coated anti rusted theft sheet net including fixing with concrete block in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, delinators having average value of coefficient Retro Rfeiected luminance cell not be less than 18 med/lux, provided test certificate complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 7.50 m long ( Hume Pipe Culverts 600mm dia) excavation in foundation , PCC 1:4:8 type D2, brick work, PCC for haunching of pipe, NP3 pipe including wing wall, plastering reinforcement white wash including removal of surplus soil and returning filling etc complete as as speified and shown on drawing No CEAF/STD-154/02 Sheet I/I.
