Provision of LED Guidance Signage Boards for operational area and associated works at B.P.I Airport, Bhubaneswar

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of illuminated LED based Mandatory/ Information/Location/VOR Check point Runway/Taxi guidance signage of various sizes made out of 4mm thick glare free polycarbonate sheet at front and body made out of 2.0mm thick powder coated aluminium profile having minimum width of 150mm and supported at back by 50mm dia(Normal size) die cast aluminium/GI pipe at a separation as required, and frangible coupling including necessary concrete foundation and fixing arrangement as required as per site condition and requirement. Light source shall be highly luminous, long life typical 50000 hrs. minimum, 0.5 watts LED's assembled on aluminium PCB with suitable size and having minimum 11 LED's per PCB for boards having height 800mm & 500mm X 20mm PCB having minimum 08 LED's per PCB for board having height 600mm respectively. The thickness of the aluminium PCB should be 2mm in order to ensure proper heat dissipation. These aluminium PCB's should be placed not more than 160mm apart as per the requirements for uniform distribution of light without any dark patches & as per ICAO specification across the length of the board in order to ensure uniform distribution of light across the board. Each board having length from 800mm up to 300mm should be illuminated by a single converter & by using single isolating transformer of suitable wattage in order to save the capital cost of multiple isolating transformer, Signages shall be suitable for operation on series circuit at variable current from 2.8Amp-6.6Amp and will give constant brightness for all current variation. All the signages shall have letters and symbols made from LG/3M vinyl by computerized cutting of vinyl and pasting on the polycarbonate sheet from inside/outside of the sign face of required color including base plate. (LED Signages should meet ICAO specifications, Tender specifications and as per the direction of Engineer In-Charge).

Supply of following sizes 5 KV grade PVC insulated & PVC sheathed, antitermite & anti-rodent, multi-stranded copper conductor single core Airfield lighting cable confirming to IS 1554 (Part-II) with up to date amendments and confirming to tenders technical specifications, terms & conditions etc. complete as required as per site condition & direction of Engineer In-Charge.

Earthing with G.I. earth pipe 4.5 meter long, 40 mm dia including accessories, and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc as required.

Supplying and laying 25 mm X 5 mm G.I strip at 0.50 meter below ground as strip earth electrode, including connection/ terminating with G.I. nut, bolt, spring, washer etc. as required. (Jointing shall be done by overlapping and with 2 sets of G.I. nut bolt & spring washer spaced at 50mm)

Providing and fixing 25 mm X 5 mm G.I. strip on surface or in recess for connections etc. as required.

Supplying and laying 6 SWG G.I. wire at 0.50 meter below ground level for conductor earth electrode, including connection/ termination with GI thimble etc. as required.

Supply of 5 KV grade, 16 sq mm plug and receptacle of type-I,class "B" connector kit as specified in technical specification and as per the direction of Engineer in-charge.

Supply of Unidirectional elevated type high intensity Runway Edge Light fitting including 200W, 6.6A halogen lamp completes with all accessories including lamp and green spreader lenses, C.I. Base plate with minimum 03 nos. M-10 stainless steel bolts etc. complete as required for runway lights as mentioned in technical specification confirming to latest ICAO standards /requirement complete as required.

Supply of Bi-directional elevated type high intensity Runway Edge Light fitting including 200W, 6.6A halogen lamp complete with all accessories including lamp and lenses (Green and Red) i/c 360 degrees filters, C.I. Base plate with minimum 03 nos. M-10 stainless steel bolts etc. complete as required for runway lights as mentioned in technical specification confirming to latest ICAO standards /requirement complete as required.

Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of elevated type HIRL and MIRL fittings on the existing transformer housing boxes/collar including installation of Isolating transformer, lens, lamps, laying of secondary lead upto 8 meters in pipe and other accessories, alignment, leveling and making transformer connections, earth connections etc complete as required.

Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of inset type high intensity runway edge /approach light fitting including core cutting in the bitumen/ runway surface fixing with suitable compound & hardener and all other accessories complete as required as per site condition & direction of Engineer In-Charge.

Temporarily installation of C.I. collar using suitable length min.10cm Anchor fastener nut and bolts at both side of Runway Threshold during installation of C.I. Housing boxes for End and Threshold light fittings etc complete as required, as per site condition & direction of Engineer In-Charge.

Making field connections by crimping 6/16 sq. mm plug and receptacle with existing 6/16 sq. mm single core PVC copper conductor cable including filling the gap with water sealant material and applying PVC insulated tape etc. complete as required, as per site condition & direction of Engineer In-Charge.

Laying of one number PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE power cable of 5 KV grade of following size in the existing RCC/ HUME/ METAL/HDPE pipe as required, as per site condition & direction of Engineer In-Charge.

Laying and fixing of one number PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE power cable of 5 KV grade of following size on wall surface as required, as per site condition & direction of Engineer In-Charge.

Dismantling and Re-Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of elevated type HIRL/MIRL / inset / Signage fittings on the existing collar including installation of Isolating transformer, lens, lamps, laying of secondary lead upto 8 meters in pipe and other accessories, alignment, leveling and making transformer connections, earth connections etc. complete as required as per site condition, & direction of Engineer In-Charge.

Supply of MS Cover plate of thickness 10 mm for C.I.Housing boxes/C.I.Collar of 330 mm outer dia as mention in item no-8 & 9 including 6 nos M10 tapped hole match with the above C.I.Housing/Collar.

Supply of C.I isolating transformer housing box, water tight round type, metal container of outside size 330 mm height 450 mm made of 10 mm thick cast iron moulding all round, except the top surface, which is 15 mm thick, cast iron moulding suitable to receive a light fitting base plate on the top and underground housing associated with transformer power cable and having a clear hole at three side surface centre 75 mm above bottom surface suitable to receive of 63 mm dia (outer dia) HDPE/G. I. pipe and including check nuts as required and another hole at 175 mm from the bottom of the CI box to receive one no. 15 mm dia, "B" class, GI pipe and check nut as required. The box should have two SS earth bolts of M10 x 30 mm tapped inside near the hole away from the hole centre and having a drain hole at the bottom suitably tapped to receive 15 mm dia, "B" class GI pipe and having clear opening of 220 mm at the top surface and 6 nos. M10 tapped hole at the hole centre 260 mm to receive fitting base plate and bolts as required as per the drawings.

Triple Hole type

Installation of transformer housing boxes with a base concrete of 1:3:6 of size 630 x 630 x 100 mm thick all round concrete of 1:2:4, 150 mm thick, the top sloped with 1:2:4 cement including providing and fixing 250 mm long 15 mm dia "B" Class GI pipe with check nut for drainage of water including excavation of side shoulder and refilling etc complete as required.

Supply of Stainless Steel M-10 Bolts (Set of 6 bolts) Suitable for Runway / Taxi light Fitting, as per site condition & direction of Engineer In-Charge.

Supply of Base plate Neoprene Rubber Gasket of 3 mm thickness suitable for elevated type Airfield light fittings, as per site condition & direction of Engineer In-Charge.

Supply and drawing of following Size of FRLS PVC insulated Copper Conductor in the existing Steel/PVC Conduits/HDPE Pipe for secondary supply of GLF fitting from isolating transformer including two pin secondary lead as per tender specification, site condition & direction of Engineer In-Charge.
