Dismantling and taking down of existing BER Goods lift (2000 Kg) to serve G+6 upper floor, of any make complete with all accessories such as machine, Doors, Guide rails, CWT (counter weight), Car, Rope, Wiring and Control panel etc complete and deposit to MES store yard all as specified and directed by Engineer- in- charge. (Location: P-118)

Notes for item Nos. 2 to 5 : Contractor shall dismantle the existing lifts carefully and shall deposit the same to MES store yard without damage to any part. Rate for transportation of items to MES store yard and T&P required for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Make: Asian Paints / Berger Paints / Dr fixit as approved by GE.

M & L for preparing new surfaces of walls/ ceilings by scrapping / rubbing and applying two coats of Elastomeric and resilient acrylic polymers and reinforcing synthetic fibers water proofing coating over a coat of alkali resistant primer (through authorized applicator only) including use of scaffoldings from 5th to 8th floor complete all as specified and directed. Dismantling of floor hearth/ wall tiles including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and removing debris outside MD land complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Granite stone best quality (of any type) tiles 18-20 mm thick machine cut, bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match the shade of granite stone including Moulding, cutting and polishing on vertical surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for mild steel TMT (CRS) bars any dia in stirrups, spaces and binders, cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for mild steel TMT (CRS) bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips and including welding has to be done with minimum 20 cm over lap for new and old of any height complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for formwork to faces of smooth finished walls, retaining walls, abutment, parapets and staircase railings and similar works incl attached pilasters, buttressess etc; vertical or to batter incl bolting, strutting, propping etc so as to withstand a pressure of 0.1 MPa incl removal of form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing and placing in position micro-concrete, grade M30, cement based pre-packed single component, chloride free, non-shrink, free flow, self compacting, ready to use after mixing water in specified proportion, obtained from Fosroc / SIKA / BASF/ Dr Fixit, thickness of section upto 100 mm complete including formworks as required all as specified and as directed by the Engineer in charge. Applying three coat URP waterproofing chemicals for water proofing coating mix URP-Cement in the ratio 1:1.5 by volume on new plastered surface as per manufaturer instruction for sunken portion complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. M&L for minor cleaning work, removal of existing roof treatment, loose concrete and filling cracks with polymer modified mortar using SmartCare RP or Epoxy Mortar and supplying and applying High performance hybrid polyurea elastomeric waterproofing coating cold applied of spray / brush applied, Smart Care ultron liquid membrane with an elongation of 600% and tensile strength of 12.6 N/mm2 as per ASTM D 2370, crack bridging ability of 3mm as per ASTM C1305, shore A Hardness of min 75 as per ASTM D 2240. The system includes final base preparation, epoxy primer application and applying SmartCare Ultron or approved equivalent in two coats at 1.5 kg per Sqm etc complete as per Manufacturer's specifications over and including padding of ready mixed micro cement concrete Type B1, 1:2:4, 35 mm average thick concrete on RCC roof surfaces and all other similar works complete all as specified and directed. (xiii) Car indicator : Shall be proivided with audio announcing system with music.

Notes for item Nos 31.00 to 34.00:- (i) Rise/ Travel is to be verified by lift manufacturer as per existing location specified in BOQ. (ii) Contractor is required to visit site for precise measurement of existing liftwell. (iii) Size of lift car specified in BOQ is tentative. Contractor is required to visit site and provide the lift car suitable to suit existing lift shaft & available with manufacturer duly approved by Garrison Engineer. (iv) Post repair work of lift shaft, structural stability to be checked and confirmed by IIT/NIT/Govt Engineering college before placing the new lift. Cost on this account shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by contractor. In this connection, refer Note No. 2 on Serial Page No. 21 of tender. (v) Maintenance services for the lift during defects liability period shall be provided by the contractor for a period of 24 months from the certified date of completion of Phase-I without any extra cost to the department. The cost of carrying out maintenance services during DLP shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Notes for item Nos 31.00 to 34.00 (contd):- (vi) Adequate number of earthing having earth resistance not more than 1 Ohm shall be provided by OEM/ Contractor, rate for which shall be deemed to be included in item rate. (vii) Travel of lift shall be as per existing landing level. (viii) Existing minimum size of car (inside dimension) is enclosed as per Annexure-2 of tender document. Any variation in size as per OEM and site requirement with approval of GE and the rate for any variation shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate. No price adjustment on this account shall be considered. (ix) Rep of Accepting Officer will visit the manufacturing site and will carry out lift tests as per IS-14665 (Part-III Sec-I) upto his satisfaction and submit the report to Accepting Officer.

(i) First Year after expiry of defect liability period (i.e for 3rd year)

(ii) Second Year after expiry of defect liability period (i.e for 4th year)

(iii) Third Year after expiry of defect liability period (i.e for 5th year)

Notes for item Nos 37.00 to 40.00 :- (a) Contractor shall carryout comprehensive maintenance (routine, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half yearly, yearly) as per Proforma Nos. 1 to 6 given in the contract and as per existing rules and regulations given by govt and department and maintain all the lifts in seviceable condition 24 Hrs x 365 days during Comprehensive maintenance period. (b) The Contractor shall carry out the Comprehensive maintenance of the Lifts through OEM only. (c) The Comprehensive maintenance should cover any/all parts of Lifts. If its fucntions found defective, the same should be repaired or replaced by the contractor through OEM as per the timeline covered under contract conditions. (d) Two mechanics shall be deployed by contractor round the clock at lift complaint cell (for all lifts as catered in item Nos. 50 to 62) for safe & smooth functioning of all the lifts. Quoted rate shall be inclusive of this component. (e) Rewinding of motor, if required, will be done by the contractor and no extra cost will be given by the department on this account. (f) The lift mechanics deployed by contractor shall report to the Concerned JE at the Lift complaint cell for receiving the complaints round the clock daily including sunday and holiday.

Notes for item Nos 37.00 to 40.00 (Contd...):- (g) The lift mechanics deployed by contractor shall sign (their shift wise) in the attendence register kept at lift complaint cell. (h) Cost of minor spare parts/ routine material required during comprehensive maintenance of the lifts is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. No additional cost of spares is admissible to the contractor. Decision of the Accepting Officer shall be final & binding regarding minor spares/ routine material. (j) Monthly schedule for proper maintenance of lift and necessary documentation including all spare parts required to be replaced during the period shall be maintained as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (k) Contractor shall submit license from Govt. of Maharashtra for maintenace & erection of lifts issued by Chief Electrical Inspector. (l) Appropriate penalty for not carrying out timely maintenance shall be levied as per contract conditions. Any third party damage due to malfunctioning of lifts shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor and the same shall be made good by contractor without any extra cost to the department. (m) Scope of Comprehensive maintenance shall cover the entire lift i.e. cabin, doors, control panel, drives, pulley, chain, battery, LED lights, COP, LOP, cables, main switchs, Machine room lighting etc.
