NOTES FOR ITEM NO 2 TO 6 (a) Specification : Tubes are designed keeping with international standards ensuring optimum energy absorption and higher effecienct. (b) Output temperature : 60° to 80° centegarde. (c) Gurantee : The tank comes with a 5 year warranty assuring a dependable service. Manufacturer's Guarantee Certificate shall be produced by the contractor. (d) Inner container : Food grade SS304L / GI with Plasma welding by automated machines ensures resistance against corrosion. Outer container : Zincalume Sheet with Durable and strong outer body. (e) Efficiency : 90% to 95%. (f) : Type of circulation : Thermo Syphon. (g) Location : Fix on flat roof upto G+1 level. (h) Insulation type : High desity 50mm PUF injected with automatic machines. (j) With electrical backup (k) Mounting :- Structural sound to take with snow load and other load at 8 Mtr height from GL in Leh region as per manufacturer's instructions. Contd/...

(l) Fixing materials : The materials like GI clamps, nuts, bolts, anchoring materials etc shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost , the rates of which are deemed to be included in the quoted rates. Nothing extra will be admissible on this account. (m) Exrta/Spare Tubes : The contractor will provide 30 Nos extra spare tubes , the rates of which are deemed to be included in the quoted rates. Nothing extra will be admissible on this account. (n) Training to personels : Contractor will provide training to personels to operate the system for 07 Days for Ist winter season after instalation of solar water heaters. Any spare or material required during operation will be provided by the contractor at no extra cost , the rates of which are deemed to be included in the quoted rates. Nothing extra will be admissible on this account. A penality of Rs. 50000.00 shall be imposed on contractor for non compliance of above requirement. (o) Repair works : During the Ist peak winter season after instalation of solar water heaters, if there is any damage to the solar water heater due to freezing of water or any other reason, the same shall be rectified by the contractor at his own cost, the rates of which are deemed to be included in the quoted rates. Nothing extra will be admissible on this account.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of monoblock centrifugal pump with Bronze impeller, driven by suitable capacity 0.5HP elect motor for cold water fillup with accessores including cement foundation etc.(one working plus one standby), complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of fully automatic water level controller and indicator device with upper and lower tank controls, dry run protection, run & idle timers, suitable for monoblock self priming pumps (max 1 hp, single phase), complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & installation of 1500 watt immersion heater rod with 16amp plug type, made from anti corrosive material and copper with nickel plating,equipped with heat proof plastic handles, suitable for 230AC ,50Hz single phase AC supply, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for point wiring with single core 1.5 sqmm using approved colour coding as per IS for one light/bell/buzzer point controlled by one switch with PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLS multi stranded copper conductor 1100 volt grade cable drawn through & including PVC, casing & caping of suitable size, ISI marked, with and including new modular PVC boxes and suitable size of frame, cover for mounting switch, socket, bell and regulator fixed on surface in touch with wall including 1.5 sqmm (nominal area) copper conductor PVC insulated, unsheathed, multi stranded FRLS cable as earth wire and connected to earth dolly complete all as specified and directed. one No 5 Amps socket point, complete all as specified and directed. Note: (Switches, sockets outlets & regulators will be measured and paid for separately)

M&L for sub main wiring using approved colour coding as per IS with two single core, PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLS multistranded copper conductor of size 4 sqmm (nominal area) 1100 volts grade and one single core, PVC insulated, unsheathed FRLS multistranded copper conductor of size 2.5 sqmm (nominal area) 1100 volts grade cable as earth wire, drawn through PVC conduit surface and connected to main board and making good disturbed surface complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: (i) Two run each of one RM of 4 sqmm cable and 1 run of one RM of 2.5 sqmm cable together shall be considered as 1 running meter for payment purpose.

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area of size 6 sq mm 2 core complete all as specified and directed. Note : Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5m wide and n.exc 1.5mtr in deep in any type of soil for laying cables, foundation of poles etc. and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50 mrt wide and not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth, for foundations, laying of pipes etc and not exceeding 10Sqm on plan for manholes etc and not exceeding 1.50 mtr in depth and geeting out in hard/dense soil, complete all as specufied.

Returning, filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level n.ec 1.5m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Sand cushioning to underground cables complete all as specified in clause 19.75 of SSR part-I laid before and after laying of cables, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover Class LV, Type I, flat, size 250 mm x 150mm x 40mm laid along the length of the cable, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Tubes, 'light grade', galvanised, laid in trenches of size 20mm dia laid in trenches, under road, PCC, or along pole/ bldg with all fittings, complete all as specified and directed.

SECTION-II (B/R)

M&L 3 layer PP-R Polypropylene random copolymer concealed pipes of 20mm outer dia SDR 7.4 (PN-16) UV-stabilized and antimicrobial fusion welded having thermel stability for hot & cold water supply including all PP-R plain & brass threaded polypropylene random fittings fixed complete to walls, ceilings or in floors, complete all as specified and directed.Note:- Including all cutting/ cheasling required and making good wall/ceiling in all for passing PP-R pipe involve, complete all as specified and directed.

Making connection of PP-R distribution branch with PP-R or GI main of 20/25mm bore pipe by providing and fixing tee including cutting and making fusion joints etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing insulation tubing of size suitable for 20mm dia pipe and 13mm thick conductivity of nitrile rubber tubes class "0" , with 0.32mm thick plain aluminum sheet ,alloy 31000 H4 in ridges,hips,valley gutter, drip and straight flashing of 28SWG thicknes, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 500 ltr capacity Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks (cylindrical vertical with closed top ) hoisted and fixed in position, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Puff tank of 500 Ltrs capacity, insulated cylinderical vertical type double layer duly filled with glass wool with closed top hoisted and to resist in temperature between -30 degree to +35 degree celcius fixed in position with all fittings, complete all as specified and directed.

Plain cement concrete (1:4:8) type type D-2 (using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in foundations, filling and mass concrete around the manholes, complete all as specified and directed.

Precast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) exceeding 10cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 15mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:4 on cement concrete surface and finished surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing of liquid water proofing admixture as per manufacture’s instructions, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for RCC M-30 as in slab supported on wall beams and column and like, complete all as specified and directed.

Form work to soffit of suspended slab not exceeding 200 mm thick rough finished surface, complete all as specified and directed.

Form work to edges of concrete not exceeding 20 cm, complete all as specified and directed.

Mild steel TMT (Thermo Mechanically treated) steel bars 6mm to 8mm dia as in reinforcement, cut to length bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with MS wire (annealed not less than 0.9mm dia, complete all as specified and directed.
