Spreading and levelling soil in layers not excedding 25 Cm thick and well ramming including watering as required, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Collapsible steel gates, top hung, consisting of channel pickets, pivoted flat bars, top and bottom runners, brass handles etc., as specified, erected in position and securing runners with holdfasts and brackets, complete which include fixing to both new or old work and shall be done with a mix of concrete not leaner than PCC 1:2:4 type B1(size 150mmx100mmx100mm) complete all as directed by E.I.C.

Taking out old serviceable glass of any description, from old wooden or metal frames, or stone, concrete or brick surrounds, any thickness or size; hacking out old putty or removing beads etc, including making good breakages in taking out and handling removing to store or stacking for reuse, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying 3 mm thick wall care putty as per manufacturer's instructions and over it applying two coats of distemper oil emulsion over a coat of primer, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F rolled mild steel framed work (Fe-410 W Gde-E250) quality B as in doors or wicket gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete all as specifed and directed.

M&L preparing new iron surfaces of any description not exceeding 10cm in width or girth when unconnected with other painting or when painted in a different tint and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer, complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting holes in brick walls built in cement mortar exc half brick but not exc. one brick for inserting holdfasts and making good dismantled portion in cement mortar 1:3 or cement concrete 1:2:4 Type B-1 as required, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Anodised 8mm thick aluminium grill having diamond shape opening of 50mmx50mm (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS:1868 with minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15) of approved design/pattern, with approved standard section and fixed to the existing window frame with C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws @ 200 mm centre to centre, including cutting the grill to proper opening size for fixing and operation of handles and fixing approved anodised aluminium standard section around the opening, all complete as per requirement and direction of Engineer-in-charge. Note- It includes for anodised aluminium hardware as indicated, glazing clips, rubber packing, anodised aluminium snap on beading for fixing glass panes in frames.

Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers n exc. 30 cm thick; watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc., n exc. 1.5 m high from base, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 50 mm bore Galvanized Steel tubes, medium grade with all fittings and fixed complete to walls and ceilings or laid in floors complete all as specified.

Excavation over areas not exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in lintels upto 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, including use and waste of necessary form work, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F sub main wiring using approved colour coding (Phase-red, Neutral-black, Earth-green) complete with two single core FRLS PVC insulated and unsheathed stranded copper conductor cable 10 sqmm as current carrying conductor and as neutral cable, voltage rating 1100 volt, ISI marked drawn in and including concealed PVC conduit ISI marked of dia not less than 25 mm and thickness 2 mm with stranded accessories along with one run of FRLS PVC green colour insulated, unsheathed, stranded copper conductor of size 10 sqmm, complete all as specified and as directed . Notes: (a) Two runs of single core FRLS PVC cable with one run of earth contunity conductor and conduit shall be measured as one unit. (b) Cost of cutting chases in wall for concealling conduit and making good to match with existing finish shall be deemed included in the quoted unit rate.
