REPAIR TO STREET LIGHTS, HIGH MAST LIGHTS AND OTHER ALLIED WORKS IN PH-I AND PH-II AREAS UNDER GE NARANGI

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.50 m wide and not exc 1.50 m deep for foundation or for shafts, wells cesspits,man holes etc not exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & laying Sand coarse dry as in cushioning of underground electric cable in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23cm (15cm under the cable & 8cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18cm thickness complete all as specified and as directed. Note :- Only punned down sand shall be measured.

Material and labour for Sub class ‘B’ old size well burnt brick laid flat in trenches over the cable for protection of LT cable complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc. 25cm thick complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated soil to distance not exc. 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc. 1.5 m above the starting point etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable UG cable of size 10-16 Sqmm 2/4 core from trenches / wall / roof etc. for necessary repair/ replacement / re-laying works complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under relavent items.

Taking out old unserviceable UG cable of size 25-35 Sqmm 3.5 core from trenches / wall / roof etc. for necessary repair/ replacement / re-laying works complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately under relavent items.

Labour only for laying serviceable UG XLPE cable of size 10 to 16 sqmm, 3.5 core in trenches/ wall/ roof etc. including cutting and jointing through cable jointing kit as required and connecting to the main switches/cut outs MCB/MCCB with necessary lugs after cutting to required length complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: (a) Serviceable UG XLPE cable shall be obtained from BoQ item No. 8 here-in-before. (b) Excavation and earth work,brick protection, sand cushioning etc. shall be measured and paid seperately under relavent BoQ items.

Material and labour for XLPE insulated, PVC sheathed, armoured, heavy duty electric under ground cable, with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 Volts grade of size 10 sqmm 2 core laid in trenches /floor or fixed on wall /pole in including brass compression cable glands, terminal lugs etc, complete all as specified and as directed.
