REPAIR TO WATER PROOFING TREATMENT TO RCC ROOF AT AF

Taking up or down steel tubing 15 mm bore and connections from walls and ceiling or laid in floor including cleaning for refixing or removal to store complete all as specified & directed.

All as per item No 1 hereinbefore but 20 mm bore.

All as per item No 1 hereinbefore but 25 mm bore.

Re-fixing old serviceable steel tubing 15mm bore and supply of new fittings as required at site and fixed in new or old position (walls, ceiling, floors, etc.) complete all as specified & directed.

All as per item No 4 hereinbefore but 20 mm bore.

All as per item No 4 hereinbefore but 25 mm bore.

Supply and fix GI tubing 15mm bore medium grade with all fittings and fixed to wall, ceiling or laid in floor with suitable clamps & nuts etc complete all as specified & directed. Make - M/s Tata/ M/s Jindal/ M/s Swastik

All as per item No 7 hereinbefore but 20 mm bore.

All as per item No 7 hereinbefore but 25 mm bore.

Supply and fix in repairs gun metal, globe or gate valve with iron wheel head , screwed both ends for pipe of 20 mm bore complete all as specified & directed.

All as per item No 10 hereinbefore but for pipe of 25 mm bore.

Dismantling old unserviceable water tanks of any description and capacity exceeding 500 ltr but not exceeding 1000 ltr including disconnecting all connections and removing to store complete as directed.

Supply and fix Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tanks of 1000 ltr capacity (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I complete all as specified & directed.

Supply & fix in repairs 20 mm bore ball brass valve with brass rod, high pressure, with polythene float and flynut complete, screwed for iron pipe or brass ferrule and fixed all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing PVC water tank of any description of capacity exceeding 500 ltr but not exceeding 1000 ltr, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position. (Cleaning repairing, etc. measured separately)

Material and labour for cleaning and removing all scale and dirt, etc, from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes, etc.

Taking down carefully existing bitumen tarfelt including plaster of any description over the surfaces of roof, terraces including flashings and junctions of parapets/ kerb walls and cleaning the surface with washing and removing of the rubbish to a distance exceeding 500m but not exc 1.5 Km and depositing where directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) complete from existing RCC roof slab of any description & any thickness and removing of the rubbish to a distance exc. 500 m but n. exc. 1.5 km and depositing where directed.

Material and labour for 25 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded stone aggregates) as in filleting/padding and finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement

Material & labour for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5 mm graded broken stone aggregate laid over RCC roof slabs to fill undulations to achieve uniform slope including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for rendering/screed bed 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on concrete surfaces either roof or vertical surfaces of ht n exc 300 mm mixed with water proofing compound @ 200 ml per bag of cement, finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement all as per directed by Engr-in-Charge (Note:- Supply only water proofing compound shall be measured & paid separately)

Supply only Liquid water proofing compound. Make: Pidilite , Dr Fixit or equivalent as approved.

Material and Labour for cleaning the newly plastered surfaces thoroughly with wire brushes and providing water proofing treatment all as given here in after:- (a) Applying one coat of bituminous primer @ 0.3 lit per sqm conforming to IS-3384-1986 on roof surfaces prior laying APP membrane. (b) Providing water proofing treatment 3mm thick weighing not less than 3.5 kg/sqm APP (Atactic polypropylene)modified bituminous membrane reinforced with non woven polyester mat of weight not less than 160 gms/sqm laid on primed surfaces with 100mm overlap, applied by thermo fusion using LPG torch on the bottom portion of the membrance (c) Applying one coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 100 gms per sqm over membrane complete all as specified and directed.

Note: 1. Water proofing works shall be carried out by the approved applicator of the manufacturers. 2. Water proofing treatment shall be extended upto minimum 300 mm on the vertical surfaces of parapet/ brickwork.

Note:- The amount of schedule of credit on page No. 22 shall be deducted from the amount quoted against sch 'A' while deriving at the contract sum for accptance.
