Strengthening and 5 year maintenance of Paraikulam Thengaparai Road in Puliyoorsalai Vpt. Km 0/0-1/08

Clearing the Scrub jungle including all labour charges for burryingng and burning etc.,Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes ,scrubs,saplings and trees of girths upto 300mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlie and disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable materials to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150mm thickness as per technical specification clause 201. etc. comp..

Earthwork Excavation for foundation in all soils and sub soils to full depth as may be directed except in hard rock requiring blasting but inclusive of shoring and strutting and bailing out water wherever necessary and refilling the side of foundation with excavated earth in layers of not more than 15cm thick, well rammed and consolidated and depositing the surplus earth in all places shown by the departmental officers with initial lead and lifts etc. site etc complete complying with standard specification and as directed in sand, silt and loose soil, wet sand and silt not under water light black cotton soil, sandy loam and ordinary soil including excavated earth as per SS20A

collection and supply of carted earth from approved quarry an average lead 1km including cost and conveyance of all materials to site anf labour charges etc.

Scarifying the Existing Bituminous road surface to a depth of 100mm and disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4.

Providing and laying spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam(WMM) specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in machanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site laying in uniform layers 250mm thick with pavers in SubBase/Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density including cost of material,labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Providing and applying Prime Coat with bitumenemulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spray in primer at the rate of 0.70Kg / sqm usingmechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502. (i) Low Porosity

Providing and laying Tack coat over WMM surface(treated with primer) using 2.5Kg of bitumen emulsion RS-1 for preparatory to another bituminous construction over it including cost of material, labour charges, rentals for machinery, fuel and all other incidental charges etc.,

Providing and laying Bituminous Concrete to 25/30/40mm thick using 0.13 cum of 19.00- 9.50mm, 0.17 cum of 9.50- 2.36mm and 0.26 cum of 2.36 and below with 47.28kgs of VG30 bitumen and 3.02Kgs of Waste Plastic for premixing per 10sqm including cost and conveyance of all materials to CMP site, heating the bitumen and aggregate to required temperature and mixing them in required temperature in central hot mix plant 20-30 ton capacity, conveying the mix by tipper trucks to paver site, spreading the mix to uniform thickness of 40mm with mechanical paver to the specified grades and cross sections and consolidated by 8-10 tonne Vibratory to the required density etc., including labour for attending to paver to site etc., including hire charges and fuel charges for 20-30 t CMP with bitumen boiler, tipper trucks, Paver Finisher, Vibratory roller and all other tools and plant required, including fuel and all other incidental charges etc., complete as per specification using CMP as per clause 507 of MORTH Rev-5

Supply and fixing of KILOMETRE STONE (three faces two lines dressed) of size 1.65 x 0.45 x 0.15m from approved sources including cost and conveyance to work site and fixing in position as directed by the Departmental Officers including labour and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Supply and fixing of HECTOMETRE STONE (three faces two lines dressed) of size 1.65 x 0.45 x 0.15m from approved sources including cost and conveyance to work site and fixing in position as directed by the Departmental Officers including labour and all other incidental charges etc., complete.

Provision of 15nos Rumble Strips Coverd with Premix bituuminous carpet 15.20mm high at Centrre 250mm wide placed at 1 cm centre at approved at location to controll speed marked with white strips of road marking paint.

Cement concrete 1:4:8 mix using 40mm I SS size hard granite broken metal from approved quarry including cost and conveyance of all materials to site including cost of cement which will be supplied departmentally at the Departmental section stores and the cost will be recovered at the rates noted in the special conditions appended and conveyance of the same from Departmental section stores to the actual workspot and handling charges at each and including cost of form work mixing concrete laying compacting and watering curing concrete including all leads for good soft, potable water, hire and fuel charges for all tools and plants and all other incidental charges such as baling out water forming protective bunds providing coffer dams etc., complete as directed by the Engineer

Supplying and erecting centering shuttering including necessary supports for plane surface in foundation and basement and in all floors for R C C column footing column plinth beam, beams, roof slabs, staircase steps, bed blocks, critical pier etc using mild steel sheets of size 90 x 60 cm and 10 guage stiffened, welded with mild steel angles of size 25mmx25mmx3mm for boarding laid over silver oak (country wood) scantlings of size 10cm x 6.5cm spaced of about 90cm centre to centre and supported by casurina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by departmental officers including conveyance of all materials to site and proper centering etc complete.

Cement Concrete 1:3:6 one cement, three Crusser Stone sand and six hard broken stone) using 20mm ISS size hard granite broken metal from approved quarry including cost and conveyance of all materials to site including cost of cement which will be supplied departmentally at the departmental section stores and the cost will be recovered at the rates noted in the special conditions appended and conveyance of the same from departmental section stores to the actual worksport and handing charges at each and including cost of from work mix concrete laying compacting and watering curing concrete including all leads for good soft, potable water, hire and fuel charges for all tolls and plats and all other incidental charges such as balling out water forming protective bunds providing coffer dams etc., complete as directed by the Engineer Table I of IS 2116-1980

Construction of Granular Sub base Gr III by providing well graded material spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface mixing by mix in place method with rotovator at OMC and compacting with three wheel 80-100 KN capacity and finished in accordance with the requirements of the specification and thickness as per approved plans or as directed by the Engineer as per clause 401 of MORD revision I(Mix -in - place method) .

Construction of Un reinforced dowel jointed at expansion and construction joint only plain cement concrete pavement thickness as per design over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement or any other type as per clasuse 1501.2.2 M30 (grade) coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS : 383 maximum size of course aggregate not exceeding 25mm mixed in a concrete mixure of not less than 0.20 cum capacity and appropriate weight bacher using approved mix design laid in approved fixed side form work n(steel channel), Laying, and fixing of 125 micron thick polythine film, wedges, steel plates, including levelling the form work as per drawing), spreding the concrete with shovels, rakes, compacted using needle, screed and plate vibrators and finished in continuous operation including provision of contraction and expansion, construction joint, applying debonding strips, primer, sealant, ndowl bars, near approches, to bridge/culvert and construction joint, admixtures as approved, curing of concrete slab for 14 days, using curing compound (where specified)nand water finishing to lines and grade as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1501.

Towards the charges for routline maintenance of the road work executed under PMGSY including dressing of berms by refilling the gully with the earth from borrow pits, cleaning of wild seasonal growth on berms, destilting of side drains and CD works, white washing guard stones, painting of KM, HM stones, parapets, cutting of branches of trees, refixing displaced guard stones, caution boards, speed limit boards etc., with the periodicity for the above activities as prescribed in IRC-SP-20:2002 and as directed by the departmental officers except for the constructional defects which has to be rectified by the contractor at his own cost for carriageway width of 3.00m & 3.75m
