GENERAL SUMMARY

ROAD/PATH/CULVERTS

Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting by 8 to 12 Tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

Soling (or sub base) with broken boulders or quarried stone with spread thickness of 150mm, interstices filled, surface formed and rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM in two layers of 75mm each, with coarse aggregates using Limestone, Sandstone, Flint or Quartzite of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. on unsurfaced water bound macadam inclusive of applying evenly a tack coat with paving bituminous primer at 10 kg per 10 sq metre complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for laying Premix bituminous macadam not exceeding 75mm thick with 4% binder content (Paving bitumen of grade VG-30) by weight of total mix with self propelled mechanical paver duly rolled and compacted to required camber and grdient with 08 to 12 Tonne Power roller and vibrating roller etc complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: (a) Exact thickness of Bituminous macadam shall be given in writing by GE before execution of the work. (b) In case, the required Bitumen/binder content in design of Bituminous macadam is arrived less than 4% the rate quoted shall be adjusted @ Rs. 65/Kg of Bitumen. However, no price adjustment shall be done in case the binder content is derived more than 4%.

M&L for Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., applying evenly a primming coat with cationic bituminous emulsion at 5 kg per 10 sq metre of road surface for laying bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete/Bituminous macadam complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Semi dense concrete/Bituminous macadam will be measured and paid separately.

M&L for laying bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using VG 30 bitumen, rolled and compacted to a required camber and gradient and rolling to a smooth surface with 10 ton pneumatic roller complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: In case, the required Bitumen/binder content in design of bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete is arrived less than 5.5% the rate quoted shall be adjusted @ Rs. 65/Kg of Bitumen. However, no price adjustment shall be made in case the binder content is derived more than 5.5%.

M&L for laying bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using VG 30 bitumen, rolled and compacted to a required camber and gradient and rolling to a smooth surface with 10 ton pneumatic roller complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: In case, the required Bitumen/binder content in design of bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete is arrived less than 5.5% the rate quoted shall be adjusted @ Rs. 65/Kg of Bitumen. However, no price adjustment shall be made in case the binder content is derived more than 5.5%.

Supply and fixing cat eye two way reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufacturers instructions.

Supply and fixing solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing bituminous surface road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrow etc. and the like not exceeding 10cm wide or any other width as directed by Engineer in charge on road pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Moorum/red bajri filling in floors or pavings, laid in layers not exceeding 15 cm thick, spread, levelled and rammed including watering complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Stone kerb of roughly squared sand stones of size 60 to 75mm thick and 250mm wide, dressed so that the maximum depression from a straight edge held against the dressed surface shall not exceed 6mm for top and exposed surfaces of sides and 20mm for the rest of surfaces jointed in cement mortar1:6 and struckflush including excavation and earthwork in soil complete all as directed by Engineer in charge. Note: The length of stone kerb shall not be less than 450mm.

M&L for Stone sett flooring with stone setts of size 200 to 250mm long, 150 to 200mm wide and 150mm deep and sides dressed; bedded in cement mortar 1:3, joints 20mm thick; grouted in cement mortar 1:2 with an admixture of metallic floor hardner 5% by weight of cement and struck flush complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Site Clearance in Soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge.

M&L for Dismantling Stone edging as in kerbs complete all as specified and directed.

Surface excavation not exceeding 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Earth work in excavation in all kinds of soil by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ in foundation trenches or drains not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding of 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed

Removal of surplus soil as obtained from excavation to a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil as obtained from excavation to a distance exceeding 50 Mtr but not exceeding 250 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brick work with modular Fly ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exceeding 6mm mean radius built in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering two coat cement plaster, first coat 15mm thick and second coat 5mm thick in CM 1:4 with Water Proofing compound finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Water proofing compound shall be measured & paid separately.

M&L for rendering 5mm thick cement plaster on fair faces of concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only Water Proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for applying Two coats of cement base paint over one coat of exterior primer including preparation of surfaces of new wals etc complete all as specified and directed.

Formwork to soffits of suspended slabs such as roof slabs, floor slabs, landings, shelves and similar work; exceeding 200mm thick Horizontal or slopingcomplete all as specified and directed.

S & F of Mild steel TMT bars 10mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to required shape and fixing as required in fencing and bending spirally for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including MS wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips quality conforming to Fe 410-O complete all as specified and directed.

S & F of Mild steel TMT bars 6 to 8mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to required shape including cranking, bending spirally for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including MS wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm dia or securing with clips quality conforming to Fe 410-O complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Reinforced cement concrete M30 (design mix) Slabs supported on walls, beams and columns in floors, roofs, landings, balconies, canopies, deck slabs and in shelves and the like complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for hard core of broken stone or boulders of gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled , watered and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power roller in layers not exceeding 15cm thick to a true surface etc. complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, in any length with adhesive joints, laid in floors or fixed to wall with clamps 75mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 10mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:4 with Water proofing compound to be appplied on green concrete over roof slab finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. NOTE: Water proofing compound shall be measured & paid separately.

M&L for 75mm thick plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in sub base of floors complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in floor 100mm thick finishing concrete surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Boulder pitching, laid dry, hand packed tightly complete all as specified and directed.

Formwork to edges of roofs and sides of RCC bands and similar work; exceeding 200mm wide Horizontal or sloping complete all as specified and directed.

EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY

Dismantling of old unserviceable ACSR conductors from existing PCC poles complete all as directed.

Taking out old unserviceable PCC HT poles of 11 metre long complete all as directed..

Dismantling of old unserviceable insulators of any type & any size from pole (PCC/RCC/Steel) complete all as directed.

Dismantling of Cross arms of MS channel or angle section etc complete all as directed.

Dismantling stay assembly complete with stay wire complete all as directed.

Dismantling GI earth wire/ old unserviceable guarding complete all as directed.

Dismantling GI pipe 25/40/50/80 mm diameter complete all as directed.

Supply and laying of XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with aluminium conductor, 11000 volts Earthed, with cross sectional area 95 sq. mm, 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50m wide and not exceeding 1.50m deep for foundation ,laying of cables/pipes/poles etc., and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.50m wide and exceeding 1.50m but not exceeding 3.0m deep for foundation ,laying of cables/pipes/poles etc., and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying dry river sand for cable cushioning in trenches to required width at bottom and top of cable including spreading levelling watering and consolidation complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:-Punned thickness only shall be measured and paid.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast conrete cable cover,class HVP,Type 1 with peak, size 300mm X 180 mm X 40 mm covering with width equal to length of cable cover as the mechanical protection to cable laid in trenches flat complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking out old unserviceable GOD and Supply & install 11 KV air break gang operated triple pole out door type gang operated air break switch mechanically operated, mounted on insulator and steel frame with operating mechanism worked from ground level with 09 Nos insulators outdoor type triple pole suitable for horizontal/vertical installation provided with locking arrangement consisting of MS channel HT post type insulator high pressure heavy lined copper alloy contact assembly suitable for 200 Amps including operating rod 20mm dia GI medium grade pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & fixing drop out fuse unit suitable for 11KV 200 Amps mounted on 06 Insulators with drop out fuse unit swing out expulsion fuse single pole, for 11000 Volts grade complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old unserviceable Lightning arrester and Supply and fixing Lightning arresters expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 kilo amp. NOTE: Old unserviceable Lightning arrester shall be deposited to MES dept store yard.

M & L for carrying out trenchless boring under the black top road for crossing of HT protection pipe by mechanical boring machine or otherwise without damaging black top surface of road including laying and fixing of GI pipe 100mm bore light grade under the road complete all as specified and directed.NOTE: Depth of boring below road surface shall be as directed by GE.

Supply and fix Cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size of size 95 sqmm.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type, joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE, armoured, Aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation of PCC poles/struts/posts, foundation filling and mass concrete including necessary form work, complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) in foundation of stay assembly etc including necessary form work, complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) for coping around poles, including necessary form work finishing even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and fix Steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts and screws as specified type 410 SP-31 (9.00 metres long) and complete all as specified & directed.

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE Insulated ,screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of cross sectonal area 16.0 sq mm 2 core complete all as specified & directed.

Supply and fixing LED street light fitting 60 Watt 230 V AC outdoor type with high pressure die cast aluminum housing and heat resistant complete with driver, lamp bracket with impact and corrosion resistant including thermal management in multiple optics complete with IP 65/66 protection complete all as specified & directed. NOTE: The quoted rate shall include 1.2m GI pipe light grade 40mm dia with MS clamps as required for lamp bracket.

Supply and fix, connecting 1100 volts grade heavy duty cable with PVC insulated solid aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed of size 2.5 sqmm 3 core for pole box to street light fitting complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix street light Engineering plastic one piece moulding control box with locking arrangment made out of HDPE and FI clamp 25 x 3mm complete of dimensions in CM +/-10%(34x28x13) including MCB SP 6 Amp 240 Volts complete with 04 Nos aluminium busbar or terminal four nos (RYB abd N) of rating 63 amps for single phase and neutral on porcelain based insulators and fixing clamps to pole for street lights, complete all as specified & directed.

Supply, fixing and testing Street light automatic Nature switch of capacity 5 KW single phase complete with high and low voltage and overload protection, degree of protection confirm to IP-55 AC, SP complete with MCB and power contactor fixed on pole with 25 X 3mm MS strip clamp including provision of 6 sqmm 3 core cable for connection complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for earthing complete with using galvanized mild steel earth plate (electrode) 600 mmx 600 mmx 6.30 mm thick buried directly in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.50 m below ground level and earth plate surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15 cm all round the plate using 32X6 mm GI earth strip as earth lead moulded and riveted to earth plate at one end and connected to main equipment at switch/control board at another end, GI earth lead incased in and including 50 mm dia GI ‘light grade’ pipe from upper end of earth plate upto equipment with & including 20 mm dia bore GI pipe ‘light grade’ as water pipe from earth chamber to upper edge of the earth plate, GI funnel with wire mesh fixed on water pipe and provision of PCC 1:2:4 type B1(using 20 mm graded stone agg) as in pits chamber and RCC pit cover 50 mm thick of precast RCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone agg)duly reinforced with mild steel round bars 6 mm dia @ 150 mm c/c both ways with 10 mm dia mild steel bars as in lifting handles with and including necessary excavation & earth work including laying the GI pipe concealed in floor /wall all as per plate No. 3 of SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion.

FENCING AND GATES

M&L for construction of steel gates 6.5m wide alongwith RCC pillars of grade M-25 with necessary earth work in any type of soil, including PCC in foundation, plastering, painting of pillars etc. complete all as specified and directed as per TD drawing no. CEBZ/TD/104/2011 sheet no. 1/3 to 3/3. NOTE: Irrespective of size mentioned in the drawing, steel gate shall be constructed for 6.5m width.

M&L for demolition of brick / stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for random rubble stone walling, uncoursed, well bonded, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:6 on stone masonry surfaces or surface other than fair face of brick-work or concrete surfaces, external surface finished fair and even (without using extra cement) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and providing two coats of cement base paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation in post holes (or similar holes) in hard/dense soils each not exceeding 0.5 cum, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, including watering and removing surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and making good complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in charge.

S & F of MS angle iron as in fencing posts and struts including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165.

S & F of Flat iron (Fe-290) as in ties, including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire etc. including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165.

Supply only chain link MS galvanisd fencing of any size or type as specified and directed.

Fixing only chain link fencing including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

S&F galvanised. 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24mm diameter barbed with 2mm dia barbs at 75mm spacing and straining and fixing to any type of standard rails straining bolts, including, securing or tying at crossings with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins, etc. as directed (each line wire to be measured) complete all as specified and directed.

S&F for mild steel screw bolts (machine made) 11 to 15mm dia with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed at the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, length of bolt not exceeding 5cm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Two coat of synthetic enamel paint to steel surface over a coat of red oxide primer not exceeding 10cm in width or girth including preparation of new surfaces complete all as specified and directed.
