Scarifying metalled (water-bound) road surface including disposal of rubbish, lead upto 50m complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparing surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, from unsurfaced water bound macadam complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and applying tack coat using hot straight run bitumen of grade VG-10 on bituminous surface @ 0.50 kg/sqm including heating the bitumen, spraying the bitumen with mechanically operated spray unit fitted on bitumen boiler, cleaning and preparing the existing road surface as per specifications complete all as specified and directed.

M&L repair to pot holes any depth, not exc 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths etc, cutting around edges to atleast 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened and graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) including applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer at 5 Kg per 10 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L Premix bituminous, macadam laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen binder content @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) The ingredients shall be mixed in hot mix plant and the mix shall be spread using paver. (ii) Contractor shall get the design mix carried out from sources specified here-in-after and execute work using bitumen content as per actual design mix. In case bitumen content required as per design mix varies with 4% as specified, excess quantity of paving bitumen required shall be considered in unit rates and nothing will be paid extra. (iii) Cost of carrying out design mix shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item.

Providing and laying 30mm thick compacted thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 @ 5% (percentage by weight of total mix) and lime filler @ 2% (percentage by weight of aggregate) prepared in batch type hot mix plant of 100-120 TPH capacity semi-dense bituminous concrete using crushed stone aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site by tippers, laying with paver finisher equiped with electronic sensor to the required grade, level and alignment and rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction and density as per specification, complete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- (i) Contractor shall get the design mix carried out from sources specified here-in-after and execute work using bitumen content as per actual design mix. In case bitumen content required as per design mix varies with 5% as specified, excess quantity of paving bitumen required shall be considered in unit rates and nothing will be paid extra. (ii) Cost of carrying out design mix shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for this item."

Providing and applying 2.5mm thick road marking strips (retro-reflective) of specified shade / colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully / semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and foreign material etc and in accordance with applicable specification complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall be 100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V / 0.3 Watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 02 Nos 65mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50mm dia mild steel pipe of 600mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150 x 150 x 300mm) type B1 complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and fixing black and yellow colour rubber speed breaker size 500mm x 350mm x 50mm of approved quality on roads fixed with steel spikes and apply adhesive to bottom of speed bump / speed hump and set in correct place and install washers complete as per manufacturers instruction and directed.

Providing and fixing for round glass road safety convex mirror overall size 600mm with orange colour PVC frame and black colour painted 50mm dia MS post with 6 ft pole including fixing with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of stone slabs and tiles laid, bedded and pointed in any mortar or thickness in floors, aprons complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade (overall size of kerb stone 450mm x 350mm x 150mm thick) cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm) including making drainage opening wherever requried complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of new concrete surfaces (kerb stones) of any description over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old concrete surfaces (kerb stones) of any description over 10cm in width or girth and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.
