Note applicable to all items of Schedule ‘A’ :- The items considered in this Schedule ‘A’ are for repair and maintenance of 52 Nos EOT Cranes at various locations in Kanasar Military Station. The defect/fault in EOT Crane shall be intimated to the contractor through complaint slip and/or telephonically by the representative of GE and same must be rectified by the contractor through OEM (i.e. Rockwell, Universal, Dinesh, Hercules, Pedvak, etc) within five days of intimation. If contractor fails to rectify the defect/fault within 05 days of intimation, a penalty at the rate of Rs. 1000/- per day per EOT Crane shall be imposed on the contractor after 05 days till the defect/fault is rectified. A complaint Log Book in this regard shall be maintained by the contractor duly signed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The rates quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be included this aspect.

M&L for dismantling of various components of Flame proof Electrically Operated EOT Crane of following capacity ranging from 2 Ton to 10 Ton of any span (45 Metre maximum) of cross/long travel and height of hoist (10 metre maximum) for carrying out overhauling and repairing various items (Electric motors, Main gear box, cross travel gear box, limit switch, pandent switch, electric control panel, thrusters, break drums, etc) and re-fixing the components in its position, tighting all nut & bolts / screws after carrying out overhauling / repair work including cleaning and removing old grease/ oil from tracks, steel wire rope, main hoist motor drum with approved cleanser and steel wire brush, regreasing with new grease for smooth running of wheels, pulleys, steel wire rope, etc and replacing minor extras / hardware as required, complete rewiring of electric control panel (consisting of VFD, transformer, contactors, choke / line reactor, electronic circuit) by new wire as per existing installed wire, including reprogramming of Variable Frquency Drives (VFD) with the help of laptop for new parameter entry, cleaning control panel with air blower, repairing all contacts of Pendant command control switch including replacing unserviceable parts such as push button, contacts, replacing broken cable plastic trollys, replacing all broken / leakage shaft seals/ oil seals / 'O' seals / 'V' seals of any size of thruster / gear box complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes : (i) Repair/overhauling of EOT Crane shall be carried out through authorized service agency of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The contractor shall submit documentary proof/evidence in this regard before taking EOT Cranes under repair, overhauling, etc. (ii) Make and model of part to be replaced shall be same as used/recommended by OEM. (iii) Repairing/replacement of unserviceable Major main components catered for separately under respective items of this Schedule shall be measured & paid for separately. (iv) Grease/ Push buttons/ contacts /plastic cable trolly/ shaft seal/ oil seal / 'O' seal / 'V' seal included in quoted rates of this item and no extra payment shall be made.

M&L for repair/overhauling/servicing of Main Hoist Gear Box/ Cross travel gear box/ Long travel gear box of flame proof EOT Crane of following capacity including cleaning, recutting, polishing the gear teeth after remetalling and making good, remetalling of driving shaft, machining, finishing, polishing and making good for smooth running of crane, replacing worn out bushes, bearings on drive and non drive ends, reassembling all the components after necessary repair works, replacing the gear oil of the gear box upto required level, making adjustment to ensure trouble free smooth running of gear system complete all as specified and as directed. Notes : (i) Repair/overhauling/servicing of Gear Box shall be carried out through authorized service agency of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). The contractor shall submit documentary proof/evidence in this regard before taking Gear Box under repair, overhauling, servicing, etc. (ii) Make and model of part to be replaced shall be same as used/recommended by OEM. (iii) Gear oil, ball bearing & spare parts as required shall be measured and paid for separately under respective items of this Schedule.

M&L for repair/overhauling the Flame proof electro hydrauilc Thruster & brake of following capacity of EOT Crane with gear holding brakes of Hoist / Creep / Cross travel and Long travel, rewinding the burnt out winding of electrohydrauiic thruster motor with super enamel copper wire of existing gauge and varnishing, heating and testing etc complete repairing of oil pump by replacing worn out parts, oil seal, ‘O’ ring and bush and bearing - 02 Nos (6201), check nuts, lock pin all as required including draining out old unserviceable oil complete all as specified & as directed :- Notes : (i) Repair/overhauling of Thruster shall be carried out through authorized service agency of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Supply and fixing in replacement Gear oil (ISI marked) of SP-320 grade for filling in the gear boxes upto specified level under the relevant item of this Schedule all as directed.

S&F in replacement of Power Contactor 3 pole, AC3 415 Volts for 4 KW or 9 Amps with 1 NO auxiliary contacts, (Model 3TF30 or 3RT2023-1AG20 or 3RT2023-1AL20 or 3TH3040 of make – Siemens/ Model No LC1D09 of make Schneider/ Model No LC1-D099 of make C&S or equivalent model in makes mentioned in Appendix 'B' here-in-after), complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F in replacement of Power Contactor 3 pole, AC3 415 Volts for 15 KW or 32 Amps (Model 3TF34 of make – Siemens/ Model No LC1D32 of make Schneider/Model No TC1D32-10E of make C&S or equivalent model in makes mentioned in Appendix 'B' here-in-after), complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F in replacement of Power Contactor 3 pole, AC3 415 Volts for 9 KW or 18 Amps with 1NO + 1NC auxiliary contacts Model No LC1D18 of make Schneider or equivalent model in makes mentioned in Appendix 'B' here-in-after), complete all as specified & as directed.

S&F in replacement of Power Contactor 4 pole, AC1 415 Volts for 40 Amps operational current with 2NO + 2NC auxiliary contacts Model No LC1D 253 of make Schneider or equivalent model in makes mentioned in Appendix 'B' here-in-after), complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and fixing galvanized Steel wire rope conforming to IS-2266-2002 of nominal diameter of 16mm having 6x19M (12/6-1) multi stranded construction steel core CRW grade 1570, having mass 97.4 Kg/100 RM with minimum breaking force of 102 KN suitable for lifting load of 10 Ton including greasing complete all as specified and as directed including taking down old unserviceable steel rope. Make : Usha / Bombay Foot / National or as used/recommended by OEM. Notes : (i) The steel rope shall be best performed plough straight non rotating type conforming to IS-2266. (ii) The breaking strength of the rope shall not be less than 6 time the safe working load thereon. (iii) Test Certificate of manufacturer shall be submitted by the contractor.

Make : Usha / Bombay Foot / National or as used/recommended by OEM. Notes : (i) The steel rope shall be best performed plough straight non rotating type conforming to IS-2266. (ii) The breaking strength of the rope shall not be less than 6 time the safe working load thereon. (iii) Test Certificate of manufacturer shall be submitted by the contractor.

M&L for disconnecting the burnt flame proof electric motor of capacity upto 0.75 to 0.55 KW, 3 Phase, 415 Volt from the EOT cranes transporting to workshop, taking out old winding and rewinding the motor with same gauge of copper wire, varnishing, overhauling complete including replacing the ball bearing on both ends, re-fitting to crane, re-connecting and testing complete all as specified & as directed.
