Overhauling of step down outdoor/indoor transformer 11/0.433 KV (400-750 kVA) by disconnecting HT/LT terminals, decanning transformer oil removing sludge, cleaning of HT /LT bushings to remove dust particles /dirt etc. Cleaning the core and winding with compressed air and re-assemble complete including replacement of copper windings, copper washers, rubber bushes of HT/LT bushings replacement of cork sheet of 6 mm thick suitable for transformer top cover, terminal boxes refilling the transformer oil and toping up with new transformer oil and centrifuging to achieve the dielectric strength upto 50KV painting with two coat & synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer after preparation of painted surfaces of transformer and testing and recommissioning on load etc complete for the transformers of following rating:- (Dehydration of transformer oil by filtration, topping up transformer oil, shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under respective items).

All as per item No-01 above but capacity of transformer 100 KVA to 250 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for disconnecting electrical connections of transformer of capacity 400 to 750 KVA of any make & any type loading the transformer on heavy vehicle (open chassis) type from existing platform/four pole structure, by heavy crane long boom type suitable for shifting and loading transformer and transporting of transformer for repair / rewinding at workshop at Dharampur from Subathu Stn Area including unloading of transformer from vehicle at workshop & Opening up transformer step down 11/0.433 KV by unscrewing all nuts/bolts and washers of top cover duly draining out complete transformer oil and kept aside for re-use. Disconnecting of all HT/LT wiring tap changer, complete LT/HT bushing, air breather etc and kept aside for re-use the serviceable parts and removal of unserviceable parts and taking out complete core assembly of transformer with help of chain pully to carry out the following works:-

(a) Deslurring of transformer tank by taking out the complete deposited transformer oil sludge and cleaning thoroughly the transformer tank by washing & wiping out all dirt/rust accomolated including making preparation of old painted internal/external surfaces of transformer. Painting the internal surfaces of transformer with two coats of high grade anticorrosive varnishing paint over a coat of red oxide primer. Painting to external surfaces of transformer with two coats of Ist grade synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide primer, all as shown and directed by Engr-in-charge. (b) Cleaning the transformer core assembly using electric blower and making the core free from sludge, dirt and any other foreign materials from its surfaces including provision of high grade insulation varnish and raising insulation of the core through heat chamber and raising of IR valve /LV-E > 500 Mega ohms HV-E >1000 Mega ohms

(c) Assembling the transformer complete including supply of complete set including replacement of defective accessories such as oil seal , gasket , LT/HT bushing, stud, air breather, tap changer, including making necessary LT/HT wiring as dismantled( New spares as required will be measured & paid separately under relavent items, rate of oil seal & gasket will be deemed included in the quoted rate ). Powering of dehydration/filtered transformer oil (dehydration charges will be measured and paid separately) as obtained during dismantling and top up balance quantum with new transformer oil as required (New transformer oil will be measured & paid under relavent item) after successfully repairing the transformer reloading the same & place to its original location and installation complete including making LT/HT side cable connection, earth connection and testing complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No-03 above but capacity of transformer 100 KVA to 250 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for replacement of worn out copper strip/ wire /rod as per existing gauge/size complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fixing in replacement HV Bushing of transformer with Brass metal connecting rod, nut bolt and washer,suitable for 400 KVA to 750 KVA capacity of tranaformer 11000 Volt as per IS 3347/1967 complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No-06 above but capacity of transformer 100 KVA to 250 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fixing in replacement LV Bushing of transformer with Brass metal connecting rod, nut bolt and washer,suitable for 400 KVA to 750 KVA capacity of tranaformer 1100 Volt as per IS 3347/1967 complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No-08 above but capacity of transformer 100 KVA to 250 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement cork sheet for top cover suitable for 400 to 750 KVA capacity transformers complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No-10 above but capacity of transformer 100 KVA to 250 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & replacement of silica gel crystal complete in all type of capacity of transformer complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Silica gel breather assembly complete with silica gel crystal complete for the capcity of transformer 400 KVA to 750 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No-13 above but capacity of transformer 100 KVA to 250 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

Filtration & Dehydration of transformer oil using ON-LINE filtration plant to achieve dielectric strength minimum 50 KV/ 4mm etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, filling and pouring of transformer oil conforming to IS 395-1983 having die electric strength minimum 50 KV / 4mm including topping up in transformer complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour in repairs anti-climbing device, spikes type fabricated out of M.S bars ( round, square and flat ) including nuts, bolts, washers and welding in two halves made to shape to suit the cross section of the pole suitable for PCC/Steel poles including two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs Lightening arrestor expulsion type for out door use complete with all fitting transmission class discharge capacity 65 KA suitable for 11000 volts including brackets, clamps, nuts and washers and connecting to earth wire 4 mm dia GI wire complete all as specified complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous 145mm high and 255mm dia ball and socket type, white, brown or green, single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 volts complete all as specified and as directed.

Supplying & fixing in replacement of pin insulator porcelain vitreous, white, brown & green incl. One galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, 150mm height 150mm dia for 11000 volts grade, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of Loop type insulator, vitreous porcelain white , brown, green small size with overall dimensions 65mm x 90mm clearance of hole 16mm, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out unserviceable GOD, Supply & fixing switch Air brake, gang operated, triple pole, mechanically operated mounted on HT insulators (12 insulators pin type ) and MS galvanised steel frame with operating mechanism operated from ground level with fixed contacts of phosphorous bronze and moving contacts of copper including operating rod for current rating upto 200 Amps, 11000 volts complete with locking arrangement, including 3 Nos drop out explusion type of fuses with fuse barrals of required capacity to suit load at site, also including provision of two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer on MS work complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out unserviceable existing earthings and Material & labour for replacement of 'Earthing complete with and including galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cmx 60cm x 6 mm thick surrounded by mixture of charcoal and salt in alternate layers , buried directly in ground vertically in a pit of depth not less than 2.25 meter deep below ground level with top as of the plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level connected to equipment by using GI strips of size 32x6 mm as earthing lead by means of bolts ,nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel earth wire protected by galvanised steel pipe 15 mm bore (light grade) and 20mm bore "Light' grade GI watering pipe connected to main switch or main control board or GOD or lightening arrester all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR - 2009(Pt I) & including necessary excavation and earth work. The rate also include charcoal and salt in alternate layers, 20 mm bore GI pipe (Light grade ) for watering , protection pipe funnel, wire mesh , PCC 1:2:4 type B1 chamber in cement concrete ,50 mm thick precast RCC M-25 ( Design mix) cover duly reinforced with XPM (weight not less than 3 kg /sqm ) and CI frame etc , and including provision of test point , connecting to test point and testing on completion etc, complete all as specified. NOTE : The unit rate include earthing lead and protection pipe upto 7.5 metre from top of earth plate

Supply & fixing in replacement Glavanised iron strip 32x6mm buried in ground complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out unserviceable existing earthings and Material & labour for replacement of chemical earthing (Pipe in pipe technology) Two B class IS mild steel pipe, one inside the other, hot dip galvanised with 100 micron coating outside and about 300 micron coating inside filled with high conductive and corrosion Resistant Crystalline Mixture inside and Backfill compound around the outer electrode) outer electrode dia 72 to 80mm and inner electrode dia 35 to 40 mm both 10' long, incldg making earth pit of size 4' x 4' and 11' deep fill the entire pit with black cotton soil or normal soil, pour enough water so that pit is full with water, leave it for three days so that soil soaks up the water, the soil level has goes down, again top up the pit with soil & fill the water. After two or three days when the pit is sturdy and ready for earthing purpose, install the earthing electrode as per installation method as below:-

(a) Mix backfill compound evenly with soil. (b) Remove plastic sleeve carefully from electrode. (c) Place naked electrode at centre of pit. (d) Start refilling empty space around electrode with backfill compound in layers. (e) Pour some water and poke the pit with a long wooden rod to allow trapped air to escape. (f) Gradually continue refilling process till electrode is buried in the pit up to the green patch painted on the top portion of electrode. (g) Ensure that pit is not watery (h) Pack electrode with compound nicely and tightly, so that it stands firmly in pit. (j) Pour a few buckets of water around pit. (k) Pour a few buckets of water around in the pit everday for 10-15 days for system to set. (l) Connect the earth electrode with equipments by 25mm x 3mm aluminium strip. (m) Earthing test point terminal block made of gun metal size 150x100x50 mm drilled and screwed including 4 Nos 8 mm dia 40 mm long hexagonal head bolts and washers duly fixed on walls with fasteners 4 Nos. Note : (a) Earth resistance shall not be more than 5 Ohm. (b) Aluminium strip for connections shall be measured and paid separately.

Material & labour for cross arms, bracings, supports,clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers,welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint including dismantling cross-arms of M.S. channel or angle sections etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for Painting of steel tubular pole 11.0 metre long, by applying two coat of aluminium paint after scraping / brushing and cleaning the rust on pole and cross arms. Aluminium painting will be done on pole above 1.83 metre height from ground level and balance 1.83mtr from ground level will be painted by alternate layer of black and white enameled paint (30 Cms each). Pole Nos will be written on pole by black paint in yellow circle of 150mm dia, complete, all as specified and directed. Note:- Only one coat will be applied at one time and payment at 50% of coated rate to be applied at the first time of first coat. Second coat is to be done more than 30 days after first coat complete all as specified and directed.

Pruning of tree branches and making clear HT line to the minimum distance of 1.8 mtrs all arround for 5/6 conductors complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty HT cable 11000 Volts grade with aluminium conductor laid in trenches, on poles, through pipes, fixed to walls etc cross sectional area 95 Sqmm 3.0 core including taking down carefully under ground cable of any size and making good to disturbed surface as per existing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cable jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination cold shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 50 sqmm to 95 sqmm including taking down of old one complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement Steel water tubing, light grade, galvanised (ISI marked), 80 mm bore with all fittings, laid in trenches/ under roads or fixed to poles for passing cables for protection of cables, complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth, for foundations, laying of pipes etc and not exceeding 10Sqm on plan for manholes etc and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth and getting out in any type of soil, complete, all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in with approved excavated soil including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick, complete, all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) to a distance not exceeding 50metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying sub Class 'B' common burnt bricks, old size, designated 75, laid dry, flat with width equal to length of brick & with gaps between the adjucent bricks not exceeding 10mm as cover laid over the cable to give mechanical protection to under ground cable, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying dry sand cushioning to under ground electric cable on layer of 8cm thick before laying the cable and second layer of 15cm thick after laying the cable, complete all as specified in clause 19.75 of M.E.S Schedule Part-I (2009) and directed.

Supplying & fixing in replacement of GI wire as earth wire of size 4mm dia as required at site including dismantling earth wire or copper conductor, service feeder or distributor span complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repairs danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones insignal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25x20 cm size complete all as specified and directed.
