Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and other intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required line, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown on the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD technical specification clause 1603.1, 1603.2 and sorting out useful material and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-serviceable material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all un-useful surplus material to required width of the road or to approved dumping sites by Engineer-in-Charge through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machinery, material, tools equipments and safety measures and incidentals. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads and lifts. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government. Recovery of usefull stone i.e 167.88 ( one hundred sixty seven point eighty eight) cubic metre shall be made from contractor @ 170/ ( one hundred seventy ) per cubic metres.

Earth work in in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls,breast walls,culverts,drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rocks,chiseling /wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawing and technical specification clause 305.1 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing , removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto all lead and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (one hundred fifty millimetre) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water(surface and sub soil water) upto all depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge and carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying cement concrete for plain/reinforced concrete mechanical mix and vibrated in open foundation, retaining walls, wing walls etcetera like structures complete as per drawings nominal mix 1:5:10 (One cement : five sand : Ten crushed graded stone aggregate) 40mm (Forty millimetres) nominal size including cost of form work and curing complete as per HPPWD specification complete in all respect including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Back filling behind abutment , wing walls and return walls complete as per drawings & technical specification Clause 1204.3.8.granular material as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry / Stone masonry / plain/reinforced concrete in retaining walls, breast walls and the like with 110mm ( One hundred millimetre ) dia PVC pipe Finolex/ Supreme having pressure not less than 4.00 Kg/Cm² ( four kilogramm ) per centimetre square extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1(V):20(H) ( one vertical : twenty horizontal ) towards drawing face complete as per draswing and technical specification clause 614, 709, 1204.3.7 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying 900mm (Nine hundred millimetre diametre) ( to level and slopes) reinforced cement concrete non pressure pipe I.S.I class NP-2 (two) for culverts on 1st class bedding of granular material in single row including collar with cement mortar 1:2 (One cement : two coarse sand) but excluding the cost of excavation protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets as per drawing and technical specification clause 1108 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying plain/reinforced mechanically mixed and vibrated cement concrete for plain/reinforced concrete in super structure for all type of structure complete design mix M-25 ( M-twenty five ) 20mm ( twenty millimetre) nominal size agreegate on ground or under water and curing complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying under water complete for all heights/depths including the cost of form work as per drawings and technical specification clause 800, 1205.4 and 1205.5 as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Construction of RCC railing of M-25 Grade (M-Twenty five) in situ with 20mm (Twenty millimetre) nominal size aggregate true to line and grade, tolurence of vertical RCC post not to exceed 1 in 500 (One in five hundred) centre to centre spacing between vertical post not to exceed 2000mm (Two thousand millimetres), leaving adequate space between vertical post for expansion, compete as per approved drawings and technical specifications as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 Kg to 0.30 Kg per sqm (Zero point two five to zero point three zero kilogram) per square metre on prepared granular surfaces treated with primer and cleaned with hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20mm (Twenty millimeters) thickness compected thickness composed of type-A 13.2mm to 5.6mm (Thirteen point two millimetre to five point six millimeters) aggregates at the rate of 0.27 cum (Zero poimnt two seven cubic metre) mixed with using VG-30 (thirty) at the rate of 14.6kg (Fourteen point six kilogram) mixed with crushed stone aggregate at the rate of 0.27 cub ( zero decimal two seven cubic metre ) per ten square metre to required line,grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base including mixing and heating binder and aggregate in a suitable plant, laying with paver finisher and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 KN static capacity road roller finished to required level and grade to be followed by seal coat as per technical specification clause 508 including entire carriage of materials within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Condition:- The work will be strictly executed as per HPPWD specifications, The contractor will precure cement/ steel/Bitumen at their own level from Civil Supply Depott./IOCL, HPCL, BPCL After the approval of permit from the competent authority and other material from market as per the preffered approved makes as per Department specification issued by the Additional Chief Secretary PW to the Govt. of HP vide No. PBW (B) C (17) 2/2012 dated 07 August 2018 and all other condition are liable & carriage will be born by the contractor & The bills of all materials precured by the concractor and M-form of mining materials used for execution of work must be submitted to the authority concerned alongwith concractor bill.
