Tn No. 1087/3A dated 25.04.2026 2. Patch repair work on roads under the Assistant Engineer-II

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam grade-3 specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled static roller 8-10 tonne capacity in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite type of screening/binding materials to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density as per the technical specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 using bitumen pressure distributor at the rate of 0.25 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous surface cleaned with mechanical broom.

Providing, laying and rolling of open graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates using VG-10 grade bitumen @ 1.46 Kg/Sqm. to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, finished to required level and grades including tack coat @ 0.25 kg/sqm as per the technical specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge. (including cost of bitumen)

Providing and laying seal coat by manual means with VG-10 grade bitumen @ 0.68 Kg/Sqm. sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type B as per the technical specification and direction of Engineer-in-charge. (including cost of bitumen)
