Provision of ESE Lightning Arrester for Pulicat, Portonova, Nagapattinam and Muttom Point Lighthousesunder Chennai Directorate

Supply of Early Streamer Emission (ESE) lightning conductor. Equipped with Stainless central pick up rod. Full electrical continuity between the tip and the earth point. Fully autonomous (no battery, no external power supply required) Collect energy through streamer emission controlled with detects the lightning and trigger a streamer (3,5KV and 20A). The ESE shall cover the area of 60 mtrs. Radius. Manufactured as per CPRI Requirements & as per Indian standard. (For Pulicat, Portonova, Nagapattinam and Muttom Point Lighthouse.)

Supply of 7 Mtrs. Each Pulicat, Nagapattinam, Muttom Point Lighthouse and 9 Mtrs. for Portonova Lighthouse elevation pole (Lightning arrester mast) made of GI “C” Class minimum 40mm dia. with a M20 thread at the top to fix the ESE unit. Necessary provisions shall be provided for stay wire termination, fixing of insulated copper flat laying from the top (ESE unit) of the mast to bottom of the mast. The bottom of the mast shall be welded with 300 x 300 x 10mm GI plate and supported gazette plate with 4 nos. of 22mm hole suitable for making foundation bolt for fixing the mast. The stay wires shall be made of 6mm SS in the grade of 304 with suitable SS wire rope clamp which withstand salty atmosphere and wind speed of 150km/hr.

Additional 6 feet Triangle GI support to the mast with hand rail using 40mm GI ‘C’ class pipe (For Pulicat, Portonova, Nagapattinam and Muttom Point Lighthouse.)

Supply of electrolytic grade copper (99.9%) flat of 25 x 3mm size as a down conductor single length laying from the top of Lightning arrester (ESE) to earth plate pit. (Pulicat: 80 Mtrs, Portonova: 66 mtrs, Nagapattinam: 80 Mtrs and Muttom point Lighthouse:44 mtrs) (Amount will be paid as per the actual measurement used at concern Lighthouse)

Supply of IP 67 Digital counter for recording the lightning flashes. (For Pulicat, Portonova, Nagapattinam and Muttom Point Lighthouse)
