Supply, providing, laying, Fitting, testing and commissioning of 400 mm nominal dia 6.3 mm thick longitudinally welded MS. Pipe for Rising Main with abutting edges. The pipe shall be laid as per the site requirement at Lift Irrigation Scheme Sail Noorpora with fallowing specification; 1. Nominal Dia 400 mm. 2. Wall Thickness 6.3 mm without any negative tolerance 3. Length of each pipe 06 meter. 4. ,Quality of Mild Steel Fe 410 5. Type of Welding ERW 6. Coating Two coats of Black Bituminous 7. Manufacturing of pipe As per IS 3589. The pipes are to be joined in position by way of welding at both ends. The pipes shall be joined by continues butt welding in at least two runs on outside surface of the pipe. The welded area shall be chipped properly in order to remove the flux formation to ensure the leak proof joints on full working pressure. Quality product electrodes shall be used for welding. The job includes providing and fitting of 400mm dia MS long radius easy bends, Expansion joint(02No’s)(Flange thickness 25 Body 10mm with all accessories) and offsets for complete laying of 102 meters MS pipe as per site requirements All tools, tackles and equipment’s such as, tripod stands, welding machines, electrical generators, jacketc required for the job are to be arranged by the firm. The cost shall include arranging of van/ Tractor with trolley/load carrier for mobilizing the equipment’s, machinery, welding transformers, gas cutter, D.G set and means of shifting these to site. The cost also includes charges on account of fuels and lubricants etc. Manufacturer’s test certificate of said pipe shall have to produce at the time of supply of material.

Laying of departmental procured 400 mm dia MS Pipe from pump house to RD 312 by way of: • Make the abutting edge at the end of pipe using angle grinder. • Shift the pipes one by one from pump house and stacking the pipes in one line along the Rising main corridor using all tools and plants ,Loader, Tractor with trolley and by dragging etc. • Lift the pipe to align the two ends by using a chain pulley block and holding structure. • Rest the pipe for alignment on a temporary blocks made of sand bags/permanent concrete made saddle blocks. • The pipes are to be joined in position by way of welding at both ends. Painting the 400 mm dia. 312 meter MS Rising Main in length. The job includes cleaning the Rising Main Pipe and making the pipe rust free after that applying two coats of black Batumi’s paint on whole outer circumference of Rising Main at LIS Sail Noorpora.
