REPAIR/RENEWAL/MAINTENANCE OF 11 KV SYSTEM, OVER HEAD LINES, UG CABLES, DEHYDRATION OF 11/0.433 KV TRANSFORMERS AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS AT BABINA CANTT UNDER GE BABINA

Taking down/up after Disconnecting of HT/LT electrical connection and earth connection carefully of step down distribution transformer 11/0.433 KV of capacity 25 to 100 KVA and shifting to workshop for repair/rewinding and re-installation of the same after repair, commissioning, testing including material and labour for temporary connection of standby transformer for uninterupted electric supply and return the standby transformer to store yard after repair and re installation of repaired transformer complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- (i) Repair/Overhauling and replacement of spares shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Cost of transportation for stand by transformer from store yard of AGE E/M Babina and back and for the transformer repair from site to workshop and back is deemed to be inclusive in the unit rate quoted. (iii) Standby transformer will be issued by the Dept .However cost of transportation is deemed to be included in the unit quoted rates

M&L for opening up the step down distribution transformer 11/0.433 KV of capacity 25 to 100 KVA and draining out complete transformer oil and kept aside in safe custody. Lifting the core assembly, segregating of serviceable parts for re-use and removal of unserviceable/ burnt out parts, taking out the burnt out HT/LT winding removing the damaged insulation of materials, rewinding of HT/LT coils with new super enamelled copper wire/strip and re-insulation of all HT/LT coils for 3 limbs by providing new insulating materials, heating the winding complete in heating chamber and re-assembling the core assembly and fixing in the transformer shell after cleaning of transformer shell including providing new insulation materials, separate fibre paper, cloth paper, ampere tape, gasket set etc and replacement of unserviceable LT/HT bushing with spindle, tape changer switch, silica gel etc complete and painting the external surfaces of transformer with two coats of Ist grade synthetic enamelled paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete after removal of existing paint and duly preparation of surfaces, filling of new/old serviceable transformer oil duly filtered/dehydrated and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) New transformer oil will be supplied by the contractor and will be measured separately as supply only. (ii) Super enamelled wire/strip for HT/LT coil including insulating materials, HT/LT bushing with spindle, tape changer switch, silica gel,breather assembly etc will be measured and paid separately as supply only. (iii) Test report shall be produced by contractor before it is finally installed. (iv) Two years written warranty for re-winding of transformer will be given by contractor. The warranty period start from the date of installation of transformer after rewinding.

Supply only super enamelled copper wire/strip for rewinding as per exiting size/specification with insulating materials for LT coil complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only laminated steel core assembly as per existing size of transformer suitable for 63 KVA to 630 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

Repairs to distribution transformer step down 11/0.433 KV, 25 to 100 KVA capacity at existing position of on pole or on platform after disconnection of HT/LT connection and earthing lead, opening of transformer cover plate, taking out of transformer oil to a level as required and kept in clean and dry container for re-use the same and repair /overhauling the same including replacement of unserviceable items such as gaskets, HT/LT bushing set, tape changer switch, silica gel etc and reconnection the same and toping up/replacement of transformer oil including testing all as directed and specified Note :- (i) New transformer oil will be supplied by the contractor and will be measured separately as supply only. (ii) HT/LT bushing with spindle, tape changer switch, silica gel etc will be measured and paid separately as supply only. (iii) Test report shall be produced by contractor before it is finally installed.
