REMOVAL OF POND ASH FROM ASH POND AND FILLING IN LOW LYING AREAS IN NALCO DAMANJODI.

1 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means(hydraulic excavator)/manual means in all kind of soil over areas(exceeding 30cm in depth,1.5m in width as well as 10sqm on plan)including disposal of excavated earth, lead upto 50m and lift upto 1.5m, disposed earth to be levelled and neatly dressed .

3 Filling of ash by excavation of ash from Ash Pond in or under water and / or liquid mud, including pumping out water as required by dewatering, making coffer dams with loading, flood banks, marginal banks , transportation & unloading ash with a lead of up to 50m by truck / tipper etc. and spreading in layers not exceed 30cm depth , levelling , watering & compacting with hand roller in low lying areas , rolling every third & most layer with power roller of minimum 15 tonnes including dressing of the ash filled slopping embakments/roads , etc all complete as per the instruction of Engineer-in-Charge .

3(i) same as above but lead upto 5.00 Km

3(ii) same as above but lead between 5-7 Km

3(iii) same as above but lead beyond 7 Km , For every additional km

4 Earth work in excavation by mechanical means(hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas(exceeding 30cm in depth,1.5m in width as well as 10sqm on plan) including filling of available excavated earth in layers not exceeding 30cm in depth, breaking clods, watering , rolling each layer with 1/2 tonne roller or wooden or steel hammers and rolling every 3rd and top most layer with power power roller of minimum 15 tons and dressing of embakments for filling of ground depressions, providing each cover over ash filling of required depth as directed by Engineer-in Charge with lead up to as mentioned below and lift up to all height in all kind of soils.

4(i) same as above but lead up to 2.0 Km

4(ii) same as above but lead between 2-4Km

5 Providing and laying plain cement concrete at all depths below and upto ground level in foundations, fillings, non-suspended floors including tamping, curing etc. but excluding the cost of centering and shuttering etc. as specified or directed in any shape, position, thickness and finishing the top surface rough or smooth etc.all complete up to Plinth Level (Cement & Fly Ash shall be supplied free of cost by the NALCO from the designated store in the Alumina Refinery complex.)

5(i) 1:2:4 (1 cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size)

5(ii) 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

5(iii) 1:2:3½:9 (1 ordinary portland cement : 2 Fly ash : 3½ coarse sand : 9 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size)

6 Providing and laying cement concrete for all RCC works with maximum 20mm size hard granite stone aggregate in roofs, including slope roof, stair case,landing slabs, canopies, chajjas, bands,lintels,beams,lofts,projections,manhole covers,valve chambers, retaining walls, abutments, foundation rafts etc.below ground level as per drawing, specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge at all heights including mechanical vibration for consolidation, curing for 3 weeks excluding cost of shuttering and steel reinforcement.The rate will be inclusive of finishing and plastering the exposed surfaces with cement mortar 1:3(1cement: 3 fine sand) of thickness not exceeding 6mm to give a smooth and even surface.(Cement shall be supplied free of cost by the NALCO from the designated store in the Alumina Refinery complex.)

6(i) Same as above item in 1:1.5:3 (1 cement:1.5 coarse sand:3 stone aggregate 20mm & down size)

7 Providing and fixing, centering and shuttering including curved, hexagonal and such other shaped shuttering for following as directed including strutting, bracing, propping etc. keeping the same in position during concreting and removal of the same after specified period etc. complete for all depths and heights.

7(i) Foundation.footing,bases of coloumns etc for mass concrete.

8 Bending / Binding and placing in position high yield deformed bars reinforcement conforming to IS:1139 or cold twisted deformed bars reinforcement conforming IS:1786 for R.C.C. work at all height and depths, carting the same from store / issue points to site of work, straightening, cleaning, bending to required shape and lengths as per details, including supplying and binding with contractor's own 16 SWG soft annealed binding wire and placing with proper cover blocks, supports, chairs, spacers and return of unused / scrap / unserviceable steel to owner's storage pointetc.allcomplete. (Steel reinforcement shall be issued free of cost by NALCO from designated store located in the Alumina Refinery complex) .

9 Supplying and laying Random rubble masonry with approved hard stone in drains, foundation, plinth, walls below ground, culverts, retaining wall in all size and height with cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) including curing, cost of the stone, royalty etc. all complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge.(Cement shall be supplied free of cost by the NALCO from the designated store in the Alumina Refinery complex.)

10 Dry stone pitching 22.5 cm thick including supply of stones and preparing surface complete.

12 Providing and laying non-pressure NP2 class (light duty) R.C.C. Pipes with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. Complete : (Cement shall be supplied free of cost by the NALCO from the designated store in the Alumina Refinery complex.)

12(i) 300 mm dia. R.C.C. pipe

13 Providing and laying non-pressure NP3 class (medium duty) R.C.C. Pipes with collars jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar in the proportion of 1:2 (1 cement : 2 fine sand) including testing of joints etc. Complete : (Cement shall be supplied free of cost by the NALCO from the designated store in the Alumina Refinery complex.)

13(i) 600 mm dia RCC pipes

13(ii)900 mm dia RCC pipes

13(iii) 1200 mm dia RCC pipes. (Laying by mannual/machenical means)

14 Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth upto 30 cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level and removal of rubbish upto a distance of 50 m outside the periphery of the area cleared.

15 Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material.

15(i) Beyond 30 cm girth upto and including 60 cm girth

15(ii) Beyond 60 cm girth upto and including 120 cm girth

16 Demolishing R.C.C. work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of steel bars and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer - in- charge.

17 Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical means including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge In cement mortar

18 Brick work With supply of fly ash bricks by Nalco in Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand)( FLY ASH BRICKS WILL BE ISSUED FROM ASH BRICK PLANT AT ALUMINA REFINERY) AND ( CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST FROM NALCO'S STORE)

19 Providing and laying 15mm thick cement plaster in cement mortar 1:6 (1cement:6 sand) on the rough sides of single or half brick wall or masonary work using approved type of sand including curiing etc., all complete for all height.(using Nowrangpur quality sand) (CEMENT WILL BE ISSUED FREE OF COST AT NALCO'S STORE )
