M&L Providing Consultancy Services for Preparation of Preliminary Architectural and structural design with drawings, detailed architectural and structural design with drawings. (Proof checking and duly vetting by any one of IIT Mumbai, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur & IIT(ISM) Dhanbad, schedule of finishes, typical drawings, foundation details, design calculations, preparation of detailed estimate including DSR and non- DSR item, yardstick, Plinth area rates, Abstract & Market rate analysis of each items of all sch ‘A’ including BOQ & taking of quantities and abstract prices in DSC and submission of detailed market rate analysis for each items including internal and external services with fitting and fixtures, circuit diagrams, schematic diagrams alongwith quotations complete for purposed construction of infrastructure at outfitting building at ND (Mumbai) The details of scope of work are as follows.
(a) Construction of Ground floor - Plinth area - 1280.00 sqm with height 10.00 mtr. (b) Construction of Mezzanine floor - Plinth area - 448.00 Sam with height 3.00 mtr. (c) Construction of First floor - Plinth area - 1280.00 Sqm with height 5.00 mtr. (d) Construction of Second floor - Plinth area - 1280.00 Sqm with height 3.00 mtr. (e) Construction of Ground floor for parking - Plinth area - 120.00 sqm with height 5.00 mtr (f) Construction of First floor for awning section - Plinth area - 120.00 Sqm with height 4.00 mtr. (g) Construction of Second floor for cover section - Plinth area -120.00 Sqm with height 3.00 mtr. (h) Construction of Third floor Upholstery Section - Plinth area -120.00 Sqm with height 3.00 mtr. (i) Construction of Forth floor and screen-printing section - Plinth area- 120.00 Sqm with height 3.00 mtr. (j) Construction of per permanent Pump House bldg. for firefighting with RCC frame structure Area 36.00 sqm. (k) Construction of RCC underground water tank of capacity 20000LTR.
BOQ and stage wise yardstick on the format given by contract section shall be submitted to the contract section for approval. To submit integrated project execution schedule for the work, CPM chart showing various activities in the work project execution schedule to be on PERT. The Consultant shall mandatorily submit costed schedules of work along with a comprehensive comparative statement for the subject work namely- Schedules shall be prepared in consultation with the GE and shall be accompanied by detailed rate analysis for all non-DR items for obtaining Technical Sanction. The consultant shall ensure that all rates, specifications, quantities and analysis are technically sound, duly justified, and in conformity with prevailing standards and departmental norms. The report, along with the aforesaid schedules, comparative statement, detailed specifications and supporting documents shall be submitted only after obtaining approval from the Planning and Works Section. Any omission, discrepancy, unsupported rate or deviation from prescribed norms shall be liable for rejection and the Consultant shall be responsible for rectification without any additional financial implication to the department.
Consultant shall give certificate stating that exiting structure is capable to take additional load/stress may occur during and after construction of above floor/facilities. He will arrange suitable specialize supervisory staff from his side during construction and issue a certificate stating all important stages have been inspected and passed by him.
(iv) Detailed Specification of duct insulations, pipe insulations, acoustic insulation, and underdeck insulations. (v) Detailed specification af AHU with supply, return and fresh/exhaust air calculations, etc (vi) Detailed specification of electrical panel (s) for the main AC, Plant and AHU including incoming & outgoing cables. (vii) Detailed drawings showing AC plant layout, ducting layout, piping layout, AHU cooling tower, pumps, make-up water tank etc their connection layout and other relevant drawings. Complete design and drawing of firefighting and fire alarm system as per CFEES guidelines and NBC norms (i) Complete design and drawing of LP Air as per BP. (ii) Complete design and drawing of Lift as per BP. (iii) Complete design and drawing Solar PV as per BP. (iv) Complete design and drawing of EOT crane as per BP. (v) Complete design and drawing of Mechanical ventilator/fume and dust extraction system as per BP.
Soil Investigation
To carry out soil investigation at the proposed site for Augmentation & construction of infrastructure at Outfitting building at ND (MBI) to ascertain profiles/proportion to determine safe bearing capacity complete with field and lab investigation according to relevant specification of IS 2131, IA 6403, IS 1498 & IS 2720.
Mobilization of boring equipment and necessary skilled workers to the locations and between the boreholes. Note: Rate also includes for shifting the rig between locations and demobilization of the same on completion of Job.
Material and Labor for drilling 150mm diameter bore holes as per IS Specification to conduct various test including Standard Penetration Test (SPT). (a) Bore Hole (i) No of bore holes = 03 (ii) Depth of Each bore hole = 15m or upto refusal (n>50) or 3 m in rock whichever meet first
Trail Pit = 01 No. of Trail Pit size 1.2mx1.2m x3m depth, 5m away from the bore holes (both centrally placed)
Note: The rates on above include for the following- (a) Collection of disturbed and undisturbed soil sample at an interval of every 1.00 Mtr and in addition at change of strata or as per relevant IS code. (b) Conducting lab test on disturbed soil samples as considered necessary according to relevant specifications of IS 2720: - (i) Sieve analysis & Grain size distribution by sieve analysis & hydrometer test. (ii) Atterberg limits (iii) Natural moisture content (iv) Particle size analysis test (v) Bulk density / dry density (c) Conducting lab test on undisturbed soli sample as considered necessary according to relevant specification of IS 2720 and detailed result showing all relevant calculations, inferences, indices and parameters shall give in the soil report: -
(i) Natural moisture content. (ii) Bulk density. (iii) Specific gravity. (iv) Free swell index and swelling properties of soil. (v) Organic matter in soil if any. (vi) Consolidation test (compressed index value). (vii) Triaxial compression test and determination of shear parameters (C&O test) as per relevant IS. (viii) Harmful salt (complete investigation as already ref.) (d) Ground water Table:- (i) Maximum and minimum levels of ground water in area with source of information (ii) Ground water Table during the investigations. (e) Submission of six copies of ink signed test reports with detailed description of field investigation, soil classification and general nature of soil strata, water table, interpretation of test results, grains size distribution curves, compressive index curves, site plan etc.
(f) With every site's Soil Investigation Report, a detailed site plan showing the approx. location of each bore duly numbered as per log of bore hole should be enclosed. Location of foundation of adjacent structures, especially those that might be impacted by the proposed construction should be indicated with details in site plan. (g) Photographic record of geo-explorations as well as testing shall also form part of the report. (h) Every page of the Soil Investigation Report should have the Name of the Job for which Soil Investigation is being carried out. In case of multiple sites of a single Job are being investigated name of each site shall be put on each page of report pertaining to the site. (j) All pages of the Soil Investigation report shall be serially numbered, stamped and signed by the Agency carrying out the Soil Investigation Report should be scrutinized by GE for correctness & endorsed.
(k) The GE shall intimate the approximate type of construction, utilization and dimension of proposed building to the consultant, who based on Geotechnical Investigations should recommend type of foundation (viz isolated/combined footing, raft, pile etc.) (l) In case of underground building/basement construction, or if requirement of temporary/ permanent deep excavation support measures during construction of building are envisaged necessary excavation support measures to be given by the consultant based on geotechnical investigations
