Excavation in trenches in hard/dense soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep for laying of cables and foundation of poles etc. and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches (soil), including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour, sand cushioning with a layer of dry river sand, 80mm thick before laying of cable and 150mm thick (punned down to 100mm thick) after laying of cables, in trenches/ducts, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and laying, factory made unreinforced precast concrete cable cover HV type-1, flat, of size 300x180x40mm, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable for protection, length perpendicular to the direction of cable adjacent to each other, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out the existing defective, 3 core 95 sqmm to 185 sqmm, HT Cable from trenches including cable covers from poles / drains / under roads all as specified and directed by Engr - in - charge. Note : Necessary Earth work will be measured seperately

Laying of HT UG 11 KV XLPE cable of size 95 sqmm to 185 sqmm 3 core including defect rectification complete Note : Cable obtained out of sch item No 06 will be reused in this item.

Supply, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of High Tension (HT), 11000Volts (earthed) grade, XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multi stranded aluminum conductor, cross sectional area 185 Sqmm, 3core under ground cable including both side connection with cable lugs etc, laid in trenches, along poles or passing through pipes or laid under floor or through walls etc, complete all as specified and directed Note : Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning and precast concrete cable cover for protection of cable shall be measured and paid separately. Supply and fix outdoor type sheet metal of 3.15mm thick termination / junction box of size 1500 x 1000 x 1000mm with angle iron frame/ support with copper bus bar of size 50 x 6mm suitable for HT cable termination and locking arrangement, the legs to be fixed on foundation with PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40mm graded aggregate) complete all as specified.

Supply, jointing & testing, straight through joint kit Heat shrinkable type complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 11KV grade (earthed), HT, underground XLPE insulated armoured aluminium conductor, 3core 120Sqmm to 185 Sqmm size cable, complete all as specified and directed. Make : 3M/Universal/Raychem/Denson/M-Seal.

Material and labour for outdoor end termination joint kit Heat shrinkable type complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 11KV grade (earthed), HT, underground XLPE insulated armoured aluminium conductor, 3core 50 Sqmm to 95 Sqmm size cable but in repair, complete all as specified and directed. Make : 3M/Universal/Raychem/Denson/M-Seal.

Material and labour for switch air break, triple pole, gang operated (GOD), mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and steel frame, non-ferrous knife and spring loaded contacts, arcing hours of adequate sections to break magnitising current of the transformer, with operating mechanism worked from ground level, for current rating upto 200Amps suitable for 11000 volts grade, AC supply, including expulsion fuse single pole, complete all as specified and directed. Note: All ferrous parts shall be hot dipped galvanised and non-ferrous parts shall be heavily dipped to withstand weather.

Material and labour for disc type insulator, porcelain, vitreous, 145mm high and 255mm dia, ball and socket type, white, brown or green, single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000volts, fixed in position but in repair, complete all as specified and directed. Material and labour for pin type insulator porcelain, vitreous, white, brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle, two galvanised iron washers and one galvanised iron nut, of 150mm height and 150mm dia, for working pressure 11000volts grade, fixed in position but in repair, complete all as specified and directed. Make-Jaipuria / Rashtriya.

Material and labour for Lightening arresters expulsion type complete with all fittings, transmission class, discharge capacity 65 Kilo Amps suitable for 11000volts grade system but in repair, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2, using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate, as in foundation filling for poles, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for Plain cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate, as in coping/muff to poles, stay & the like, including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including necessary use and waste of form work, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing/erecting in true vertical position, steel tubular pole, swaged, type 410-SP-55 (11.0 m long), complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, washer and screws including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer on all exposed surfaces including numbering of poles with two coats of synthetic enamel paints, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Earth work and PCC shall be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for MS Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamp and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any type, shape or as indicated and inclusive of one coat of red oxide and one coat of aluminium paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Anti climbing devices; comprising 2.24mm dia galvanised steel 2-strand barbed wire with 2.00mm dia barbs wrapped spirally round poles, to a length of 0.5 to 1.0 metre clamped and properly secured or as specified and directed. (clamps to be measured separately)

Material and labour for danger notice plate of size 25cm x 20cm, made out of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fix with suitable size MS clamps for HT 11KV, AC supply, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with GI earth plate electrode of size 600mm x 600mm x 6mm thick burried directly in ground vertically (depth of pit not less than 2.25m below normal ground level), with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, earth plate surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick packed alternate layers of charcoal dust and common salt, electrode connections using galvanized iron strip of size 32mmx6mm thick (upto body of equipment) by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts & GI washers, connected to main switch board or main control board or test point, protected by galvanized iron pipe medium grade 40mm dia bore, and watering pipe 20mm dia bore GI medium grade with funnel & wire mesh including all necessary excavation & earth work, PCC chamber in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 & RCC cover, all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (2009), testing on completion, complete all as specified and directed. (iv) Earth resistance should be less than 5 Ohm. In case the test results are not found below 5Ohm, complete earthing will be redone without any extra cost to Govt.

Note:- Empty durm will be remain the property of the contractor.

Supply and fix in repair HT copper winding coils of required size with super enameled superior quality copper wire of suitable size and specification, complete with insulation, varnishing, vaccum impregnation and baking of coil assembly etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and removing of voltage stabilizer of capacity upto 10 KVA single phase dry type from electric circuit, strip opening of the same for repair work and replacement of worn out parts including wiring & interconnections , removal of damaged parts & re-assembling of the voltage stabilizer after carrying out the repair work and re-fixing in position, making connections, including testing and commissioning, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Supply of new spare parts shall be measured and paid for separately as under:-

Material and labour for 40mm coarse aggregates in sub stations and proper levelling complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge

Disconnecting 11KV electric supply from existing 2 pole structure and maintenance and servicing/ overhauling of existing indoor type, horizontal draw out type VCB, of current rating 400 Amps by disconnected HT cable termination joints, checking and cleaning all the spare parts of 11 KV VCB to avoid any chance of flashing, loose connection sparking, any burning parts and to replace all nuts,bolts and washers, if found any damaged due to flashing,short circuit,earth fault etc with new one anodiesed of existing size,testing and calibration of earth fault and over load relays complete after re-connction of all dismantled cables and again testing after re-charging the VCB and testing complete with satisfactorily of GE and the necessary spares i e. as per original equipment manufactures as per site requirement complete all as specified and directed.
