Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. All kinds of soil.

Removing of existing surplus earth, rubbish and garbage through lorry / truck including loading, unloading and transporting to outside the IITM premises including approval from local authorities like municipality / corporation complete and as per the direction of Engineer in charge. Necessary deduction for voids of 20% will be made from the actual measured vehicle volume of earth.

Supplying and filling in plinth with M-Sand under floors, including watering, ramming, consolidating and dressing complete.

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1 : 4 : 8 (1 cement : 4 coarse M-Sand : 8 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size)

Providing centering shuttering and form work for RCC works for all applicable RCC items in this schedule using best quality of film coated plywood / MS Sheets centering and shuttering materials, for required heights and sizes in all floors and all levels including charges for demoulding agent, removal of form work etc complete at all levels. The rate inclusive of application of demoulding agent over the centering materials.

Providing and laying in position of RCC of grade M35 Concrete for walls and floors, columns, beams and slabs excluding cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability etc complete at all levels as per the direction of Engineer in charge. (minimum cement content 380 kg/cum + fly ash as per IS 456).

Supplying cutting bending and fabricating and placing in position as directed steel (SAIL, TISCO or RINL) reinforcement for RCC works in all floors, using MS or High Strength Deformed bars/RTS and MS binding wire 18 gauge etc complete at all levels. Fe 500D grade

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundation etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth : consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m

Providing and fixing on wall face unplasticised - Rigid PVC rain water pipes / SWR pipe conforming to IS : 13592 Type A including jointing with seal ring conforming to IS : 5382 leaving 10mm gap for thermal expansion (Finolex / Prince / Supreme). 160 mm diameter pipe

Supplying and fixing GI base clamp of all size (galvanised) for laying/ fixing pipe lines of various diameter on walls, the rate inclusive of necessary U-clamp for fixing pipes, acnchour fastner for fixing the clamp etc complete. The measurement will be made based on the actual weight of the clamp and necessary bolt.

Providing and fixing on wall faced unplasticised - PVC moulded fitting / accessories for unplasticised - Rigid PVC rain water pipe. Bend 87.5 degree 160mm.

Providing and fixing on wall faced unplasticised - PVC moulded fitting / accessories for unplasticised - Rigid PVC rain water pipe. Shoe (plain) 160mm.

Roof treatment: Providing and laying PU membrane (moist cured) over the existing terrace including providing Khura and Gola, laying the heat reflective tile over the membrane etc., complete. The work should be carried out involving the following items, sequences and specifications. a) Polymer modified mortar: Resurfacing of the substrate with Sika Latex (or MIXBOND SBR of FABCHEM, Rheomix 141 of BASF or Nitobond SBR of FOSROC) polymer modified cement mortar (Cement: M-Sand ratio : 1:3 with a Water (Mixed with Sika Latex) cement ratio of 0.4-0.45), with a minimum thickness of 20 mm, to get a levelled surface. The dosage of Sika Latex will be 4 kgs per bag of cement. The rate should be inclusive of bonding coat with cement and latex mix of ratio 1:1 over the cleaned surface before application of mortar. b) Treatment to rain water mouth / Khura- making opening for fixing the rain water pipe with a diameter of the opening should be more than 25cm around the rain water pipe to be fixed. The new rain water pipe to be fixed to the opening after installing swellable acrylic based PU water bar around the pipe, fixing the rain water pipe to the opening made and filling the gap between the rain water pipe and the opening with non shrink grout without any gap, applying a layer of cementitious water proof coating over the rainwater floor mouth (The rate also inclusive of applying a layer of cementitious coating Cement : SBR 1:1 ratio over the wall floor junction before applying coving) and finishing the surface neatly.

c) Providing gola / coving 75x75 mm in cement concrete 1:2:4 admixed with 4 Ltr of SBR latex for 50 kg of cement (1 cement : 2 coarse M-Sand : 4 stone aggregate 10 mm and down gauge), including finishing with cement mortar 1:3 admixed with 4 Ltr of SBR with 50 kg of cement (1 cement : 3 fine M-Sand) as per standard design. The rate also inclusive of applying a layer of cementitious coating Cement : SBR 1:1 ratio over the wall floor junction before applying coving. d) Supply and applying PU moist cured- Supplying and laying single component PU system using spray application only with MC-HYPERDESMO or equivalent product of SIKA / BASF/ ASIAN PAINT / FOSROC is a one component polyurethane fluid which cures with the humidity in the atmosphere. It produces a highly elastic membrane with strong adhesion to many types of surfaces. It is based on pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resin plus special inorganic fillers, which result in excellent mechanical, chemical, thermal, UV and natural element resistance properties. Apply with airless spraying in two, at least, coats with minimum total consumption of 1.5-1.8 kg/m2 or as specified by the manufacturer. The rate inclusive of necessary surface preparation to receive the waterproofing coating etc., complete. e) Ponding test by storing water for a minimum depth of 20 cm and the water to be retained for not less than 48 hours or as required by engineer in charge to ascertain any leakage. Necessary repair / grouting to be done free cost to arrest any leakage observed.

f) Geotextile: Supply and apply a polyester based geotextile protection fleece. Product: Sarnafelt® 300 or equivalent approved by IITM. Product requirements: density ≥ 300 g/m2; thickness 2.4 mm; tensile strength ≥ 430 N/50mm; elongation at break ≤ 100 %; tear strength ≥ 250 N; puncture resistance ≥ 1600 N; cone drop: 13 mm. g) Providing and laying light weight concrete of grade not less than M2.5 using expandable polystyrene aggregate to maintaining adequate of density 800-900 kg/ cum and same shall be laid to maintain slope to drain the rain water over the geotextile (not less than 1 in 80). The minimum cement contnent shall not less than 250 Kg/cum. The mix design shall be approved by the engineer incharge. Minimum thickness of the concrete shall be 5cm. h) Providing and fixing Heat Resistant Terrace Tiles (300 mm x 300 mm x 9.5 mm) manufactured by ABC or equivalent with SRI (solar refractive index) > 78, solar reflection >0.70 and emittance >0.75 on 30 mm thick cool mortar as per manufacturer specification on sloped surface of terrace, laid on water resistant cement slurry prepared in the ratio of 1:3 ( 1 cement and 3 abc plus powder and add 3% Nano Acryl by volume) and grouting the joints (>3mm) with abc Grout and PPF (Poly Propylene Fiber) in the ratio of 2 to 3 gm PPF per kg of abc Grout including wetting (by using a piece of sponge) the grouted surface by abc Nano Clear in the ratio of 100 ml in two liter water. , including providing skirting upto 300 mm height along the parapet wall in the same manner.

Providing and fixing factory made uPVC white colour casement/casement cum fixed glazed windows comprising of uPVC multi-chambered frame, sash and mullion (where ever required) extruded profiles duly reinforced with 1.60 ± 0.2 mm thick galvanized mild steel section made from roll forming process of required length (shape & size according to uPVC profile), uPVC extruded glazing beads of appropriate dimension, EPDM gasket, stainless steel (SS 304 grade) friction hinges, zinc alloy (white powder coated) casement handles, G.I fasteners 100 x 8 mm size for fixing frame to finished wall, plastic packers, plastic caps and necessary stainless steel screws etc. Profile of frame & sash shall be mitred cut and fusion welded at all corners, mullion (if required) shall be also fusion welded including drilling of holes for fixing hardware's and drainage of water etc. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealant over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, all complete as per approved drawing & direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Single / double glass panes and silicon sealant shall be paid separately) Note: For uPVC frame, sash and mullion extruded profiles minus 5% tolerancein dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile dimension in higher side shall be accepted but no extra payment on this account shall be made. Casement window double panels with S.S. friction hinges (300 x 19 x 1.9 mm) made of (small series) frame 47 x 50 mm, sash 47 x 68 mm & mullion 47 x 68 mm all having wall thickness of 1.9 ± 0.2 mm and single glazing bead of appropriate dimension. (Area of window upto 0.75 Sqm upto 1.50 Sqm).

Providing and fixing M.S. grills of required pattern in frames of windows, etc. with M.S. flats, square or round bars etc. all complete Fixed to openings / wooden frames for windows with rawl plugs, screws, etc. or welding to the existing grills. The rate inclusive of applying priming coat with red oxide zinc chromate primer.

Supplying and fixing rolling shutters of approved make, made of required size M.S. laths, interlocked together through their entire length and jointed together at the end by end locks, mounted on specially designed pipe shaft with brackets, side guides and arrangements for inside and outside locking with push and pull operation complete, including the cost of providing and fixing necessary 27.5 cm long wire springs manufactured from high tensile steel wire of adequate strength conforming to IS: 4454 - part 1 and M.S. top cover of required thickness for rolling shutters. 80x1.25 mm M.S. laths with 1.25 mm thick top cover

Supplying and fixing F.R.P- Covered type (Fiber glass Reinforced Plastic ) moulded gratings with perforation covered with FRP sheet manufactured with continuous fiberglass strands, thoroughly wetted with chemical resistant polyester resin, interwoven between each other forming a one- piece structure by means of an exclusive mechanized processor (TEKNOTEX) with following finishes Surface : Anti- slip surface with integrated quartz grit Colour : yellow / blue Height : H38 Mesh : 38mm x 38mm x(7 mm top, 5mm in boyyom) Dimension : 3m x 1m (Length x width) The rate inclusive of labour and tools for cutting the gratings to fit in the existing gutter, wastage etc complete.The Contractor should also give warranty for 7 years for the product in the form of bank guarantee.

Providing and fixing stainless steel (Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, i/c fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners , stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement as per approval of Engineer-in-charge, (for payment purpose only weight of stainless steel members shall be considered excluding fixing accessories such as nuts, bolts, fasteners etc.).

Supplying and fixing Eurocon / Gripton / Beton or equivalent step tiles of approved make and pattern from pavement series for external / internal flooring over 20mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 part cement 4 part M-Sand) bed, jointed with cerafil as equivalent matching pigments to match the color of the tiles as directed by the Engineer-in-charge etc., complete

Providing and fixing plaster mesh of 80 GSM glass fibre mesh (non-alkaline) between concrete and brick masonry. The rate inclusive of labour, scaffoling, SS nails for fixing the mesh etc., complete.

Providing and fixing of Rebars of 12mm dia at specified c/c in the lintel beams by drilling of holes of 16mm dia upto a depth of 100mm as per the manufacturer recommendation, cleaning the holes with water and airblower to make sure that there is nofine particles present inthe hole followed by chemical anchoring application using Lokfix E75 incatridge as per the given proportions recommended by the manufacturer inthe clean edholes to aminimum depth of 2/3rd of the hole, fixing of the rebars. The cost to include all materials, labour, machinery, tools, tackles and consumables complete as per drawings, specifications, manufacturer’s recommendation, good engineering practice and as directed by EIC.Note:The rebars shall be separately measured and paid as per relevant item in the schedule of quantities.

The contractor shall also carryout necessary surface preparation including removal of loose plastering, patch plastering, crack filling, micro-concreting, application of damp proof coating and making good the wall surface etc wherever required before applying base or primer coat. The contractor should ensure complete covering of floors using tarpaulin / plastic sheet while taking up the work. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of charges towards all labour, material, transport, scaffolding, safety arrangements, Personal Protective Equipments (PPE), tools and plants etc but excluding the cost of waterproofing, attending to leakages and major civil repair works if any. The Paint manufacturer shall inspect the work in every stage, submit inspection / field test report, certify the product / application and give 10 year Guarantee.

Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade in all floors for wood/steel work. 1st quality. ( Asian / ICI / Berger)Two or more coats on new work : Enamel painting for doors / windows / steel works / wall panels (two or more coats excluding primer) on both exterior and interior surface of wooden and steel joineries using approved colour, make and brand of synthetic enamel paint two or more coats. The contractor should ensure complete covering of floors using tarpaulin / plastic sheet while taking up the work. The work shall be executed as per the detailed specifications and special conditions. The rate quoted shall be inclusive of charges towards all labour, material, transport, scaffolding, safety arrangements, Personal Protective Equipments (PPE), tools and plants etc.

Removing of existing surplus earth through the tipper / lorry including loading, unloading and transporting to inside the IITM premises complete and as per the direction of Engineer in charge. Necessary deduction for voids of 20% will be made from the actual measured vehicle volume of earth.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, proping etc., and removal of form for foundations, footings, bases of columns etc., for mass concrete.

Finishing the concrete surface to get even finish using power trowelling. The rate is inclusive of charges for power trowelling equipment, labour etc. complete.

Cutting grooves in concrete surface by using diamond saw power cutter for the size of 5mm wide and 50 mm depth including cleaning the dust with air blower and apply PU sealent as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type ) on the exterior side, up to seven storey height made with 40mm dia MS tube 1.5m centre to centre , horizondal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with MS tubes, MS tube challies, MS clamps and MS staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. the scaffolding system shall be stiffned with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineering-in-charge. the elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. the payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

Add extra for hardner in grano flooring at 3 kg/sqm etc., complete. The rate is inclusive of charges for labour for mixing etc., complete
