Outsourcing of services for manning and operation of water supply installation (Pump house) including operation of RO System and sluice valve installed at CFEES pump house and labs area for uninterrupted water supply round the clock (24 hrs) in three shifts per day of 08 hrs each shift (i.e. from 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs Ist Shift,1400 hrs to 2200 hrs 2nd Shift , 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs 3rd Shift) including sunday and holiday by deploying one skilled Operator/Electrician/Mechanic including maintenance, such as gland packing, nuts,bolts etc. The installation mainly comprising of the following instrument/switch gears:- (a) Centrifugal pump set electrical driven of capacity 40 HP-02 Nos. (b) -do- but 15 HP-02 Nos. (c) -do- but 7.5 HP-01 No. (d) LT panel consisting MCCB and starter- 03 Nos. (e) Phase corrector panel -02 Nos. (f) RO plant 800 LPH complete, including valves, motors, filters etc. (g) Submersible pump of capacity 05 HP along with panel and pressure switch- 01 Nos.

Outsourcing of services for manning, operation and maintenance of water supply pump House installation and RO Plant at SSPL complete service round the clock (24 hrs) in three shifts per day of eight hrs each shift (i.e from 0600 hrs to 1400 hrs Ist Shift,1400 hrs to 2200 hrs 2nd Shift, 2200 hrs to 0600 hrs 3rd Shift ) including Sunday & Holidays complete including normal servicing, oiling, greasing and repairing of gland dory etc. of pumping set and up keep of installation by deploying one skilled operator/electrician/mechanic complete all as specified and as directed. The installation mainly comprises of the following:- (A) The water supply installation:- (i) Pump set upto 10 HP capacity – 04 Nos. (ii) Control panel cubical type – 02 Nos. (iii) Water sump 2 Nos x 25000 Gallons. (iv) Over head tank 25000 Gallons. (v) Control sluice valves and gate valves. (B) RO PLANT 10000 LTR CAPACITY:- (i) Raw water Pump of capacity 5 HP -02 Nos, Make : Kirloskar. (ii) Dosing Pump - 03 Nos. (iii) High pressure pump - 01 No. (iv) Sand media filter -01 No. (v) Carbon media filter - 01 No. (vi) Water tank of capacity 10000 ltrs -02 Nos. Notes : Rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be included the following :- (i) Operator cum mechanic (skilled) shall be of Diploma/ITI passed with having training certificate in relevent trade not less than three year shall be employed for each shift.. (ii) It is an express condition of the contract that tenderers are required to quote their rates duly considered minimum applicable as per policy wages of the tradesmen intended in the tender, as in force on the end date of bid submission. It shall be deemed that quoted rates are based on minimum wages notified by the concerned authority for the station i.e Govt of India/State Govt/Union Teritory, whichever is higher including all statutory provisions such as EPF, GST, ESIC , Bonus, labour welfare cess (LWC) and contractor's overhead & profits etc as applicable. (iii) In case the rates quoted by tenderer are less than the notified minimum wages as on bid submission end date including all statutory provisions such as EPF, GST, ESIC, Bonus, labour welfare cess (LWC) and contractor's overhead & profits etc as applicable, his tender will be treated as non-bonafide and will not be considered for Acceptance. In such case, the lowest tender shall be determined amongst valid/bonafide bids only. (iv) The firm/contractor shall be solely and fully responsible to his reprsentative/personal for any accident/damage during maintenance/operation/health related liabilities/compensation, penelty etc on this account. (v) T&P required such as spanner set, wrench, screw driver set, testing lamp, drilling machine and multimeter, tong tester, megger etc as well as protective devices (shoes, helmet etc) shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost.

(vi) The contractor shall be responsible to maintain log books, attendance register, earthing register, chlorine test register, repair/renewal of parts register, earth register, daily maintenance records of pump/motor/panel board, insulation test register & 'A" Check details of DG Set, rrecord of chemical consumption if any and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. (vii) Shift Operator (reliever) shall neither leave the installations without prior permission of JE/Engineer-in-Charge. Proper handing/taking over to the next operator will be made. (viii) Two pairs of uniform with name plate of operator & firm and shoes shall be provided to each operator by the contractor. (ix) First Aid box will be provided by contractor at each installation. (x) Any increase in minimum wages of labour as fixed by the Govt of India/state Govt/ union Territory, whichever is higher shall be paid to the contractor in accordance with the provision made vide condition 63 of IAFW-2249. Increased wages including all other benefits in compliance of statutory provisions shall be paid to workers by the contractor. no other claim whatsoever shall be addmissible on this account and the bidders shall consider this aspect while quoting their rates. It must be noted that in compliance of the statutory provisions, the increased will be passed over to the workers. (xi) Any consumble item shall be issued by department free for fixing/filling. The contractor shall collect and transport the same from E/M store yard to the requisite installations within 24 Hours at his own cost and arrangement. Proper record for issue & receipt for this shall be maintained by the Engineer-in-Charge & contractor.

(xii) The Contractor shall not pay wages lower than the latest notified minimum wages in force to their workmen/ tradesmen including all other benefits in compliance of statutory provisions. Bidders shall consider this aspect while quoting their rates. (xiii) Duty roster for detailement of operators shall be approved by Engr-in-charge within first three days of every month and the same shall be kept on record and properly displayed at each installation. (xiv) The contractor will arrange the earth tester, Megger & clamp meter for installation and will check all the earthings of pump sets/DG Sets for its serviceability in presence of JE E/M, Engr-in-Charge and test report shall be submitted to the office of AGE E/M duly signed by the contractor on commencement of work for record. (xv) For any damage to the installations due to negligence of operator such as loose connections, improper routine check up/maintenance etc. the contractor shall be held fully responsible to replace the same damage at his own cost all as directed by Engr-in-charge. (xvi) Original certificates regarding qualifications of operators engaged in the work, police verification and identity proof shall be produced by the contractor to the Engineer-in-Charge for verification and approval. (vii) The Manpower employed by the contractor shall be resposiable to maintain the installation neat & clean by cutting bushes & grass around the installation upto 5 meters including roof and thrown the same out side of the MOD area. All cutters, digging and other tools required for cleaning inside and outside the installation shall be provided by the contractor.
