Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exc 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 m deep for laying of cable etc and getting out all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling-in, including spreading, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each, in soft /loose soil complete all as specified.

Removal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 m away and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 above the starting point complete all as directed.

Material and labour for Spreading of crushed stone dust/M-sand in trenches for underground cable including punning down of sand in layer complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Thickness of sand cushion after punning down i.e 18 Cm shall be measured for payment

Supply and laying for sub class ‘B’ bricks , laid flat and dry perpendicular to the direction of cable adjacent to each other ,in trench over the cable for protection complete all as specified.
