Excavation in hilly areas in all heights and depths and in all kinds of soil by manual/mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rocks, hard rocks, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) and other intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades width cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge at site according to the MORD technical specification clause 302,1602,1603 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of the road and transportation of un-useful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus un-useful material to acquired width of the road or on approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animals transport or mechanical means alongwith its leveling fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and/or labour if required. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads and lifts. A recovery of useful stone for 279.77 cubic metre @ Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) per cubic metre shall be effected on pro-rata basis in each running bill from this item. The rates are inclusive of octroi, royality, malkana, toll tax, sale tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Earth work in excavation for all types of road structure such as retaining walls ,breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetera in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil , ordinary rock , hard rock, chiseling/wedging out or rock (where blasting is prohibited ) as per drawings and construction of shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any leads and lifts includinmg dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trendches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (one hundred fifty millimetre ) compacted thickness including shoring an structting and pumping and bailling out water (surface and sub sol water) upto any depth and any quantum of water inclusing cleaning of slush which arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including entire carrriage of material within all leads and lfts and other incidentals . The rates are inclusive octrol, royality, Malkana, toll tax,sale tax or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 ( 1cement :4:sand : 8 graded stone aggregates 40mm nominal size) and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth.as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including entire carrriage of material within all leads and lfts and other incidentals . The rates are inclusive octrol, royality, Malkana, toll tax,sale tax or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Centering and shuttering including strutting, proppingetc. and removal of form work for as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including entire carrriage of material within all leads and lfts and other incidentals . Providing concrete for plain/ reinforced concrete in P.C.C. grade M-10(M- ten )nominal mix 1:3:6 ( one cement : three sand : six graded crushed stone aggregate) 20mm( twenty millimeters) nominal size in open foundations complete as per drawings and technical specifications Clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including entire carrriage of material within all leads and lfts and other incidentals.The rates are inclusive octrol, royality, Malkana, toll tax,sale tax or other taxes imposed by the Government.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 for culverts on first class bedding of granular materials in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets clause 1108. 900mm(nine hundred millimeters) dia. as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including entire carriage of material within all leads and lifts. The rates are inclusive octrol, royality, Malkana, toll tax,sale tax or other taxes imposed by the Government.
