Earthwork in excavation for foundation of bridge structure (abutments and piers) in all type of classification of soil by all means comprising of ordinary rock, soft/hard rock, chiseling/wedging out of rock (where blasting is prohibited) as per drawing and in accordance with requirement of MORTH technical specification clause 304 and as per direction of Engineer in charge including seting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious material and disposal of materials upto all height, all leads and lifts including dressing of sides and bottom including shoring and strutting and pumping, bailing out water (Surface and sub soil water) up to any depth and any quantum of water including cleaning of slush which may arise out during dewatering as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge including carriage of materials with in all height all leads and lifts and other incidentals. The rates are inclusive of Octroi, Royality, Malkana, Toll tax, GST or other taxes imposed by the government.
Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road, August, 2004 and clause 16.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner including arrangement of dumping site, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not, for 104.53 cum.( Two thousand two hundred seventy five and point fifty nine Cubic Meter ) @ Rupee170/= only(Rupees .One hundred seventy) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro rata basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases

All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion damage to hill side water pollution etc. and to protect stability of hill side rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in excavation including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines grades, side slopes, width, camber super elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unserviceable cut materials in specified manner trimming filling of unevenness blind edge and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion bailing out or dewatering as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.
Construction of un-reinforced, dowel jointed, plain cement concrete pavement over a prepared sub base with mix design of 43 grade cement @ 400 kg per cum, coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS 383, maximum size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm, mixed in a batching and mixing plant as per approved mix design, transported to site, laid with a fixed form or slip form paver, spread, compacted and finished in a continuous operation including provision of contraction, expansion, construction and longitudinal joints, joint filler, separation membrane, sealant primer, joint sealant, debonding strip, dowel bar, tie rod, admixtures as approved, curing compound, finishing to lines and grades as per drawing including hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per MORTH Technical specification clause 602 and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP2 for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 but excluding excavation, protection works, backfilling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets Clause 1106 including hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated PCC M-10(Ten) nominal mix 1:3.:6 ( One cement: Three sand :six graded stone 20 mm(Twenty millimeters) nominal/ reinforced concert in open foundations and plinths or similar works complete as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads , Clause 802,803,1202 and 1203.and curing complete including cost of form work and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
Providing and laying in sub structure reinforced cement concrete M-35 grade cement concrete, using 20 mm and down stone aggregate and approved quality sand mechanically mixed, vibrated and curing complete including the cost of centering and shuttering (Excluding the cost of reinforcement only) complete as per drawing and MORTH technical specifications as per clause 1500, 1700 and 2200. Item to include all materials, labour, machinery/ equipment and incidental work required to complete the job including mechanical transport within all leads, lifts and all depths and as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Measurement shall be made for the actual volume of concrete only

Measurement shall be made for compacted finished volume of the backfilling material.
Providing weep holes in brick masonry/plain /reinforced concrete abutment wing wall /return wall with 100mm dia (one hundred millimetre diametre) PVC pipe extended through the full width of the structure with slope of IV :20 H (One vertical isto 20 Horizontal) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical MORT&H specification including carriage of material with in all leads and lifts as per clause 614, 703, 1204.3.7.
Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of table 300-2.including mechanical transport within all leads, lifts and all depths and as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
Preparation of sub grade by dressing to chamber (Earth work fro the cutting involved fro sub grade to be paid fro separately depending upon the classification of soil as per PWD specifications including mechanical transport within all leads, lifts and all depths and as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
Consolidation of sub grade with power road roller including making good the undulation etc. with the quarry soil etc. and re rolling the sub grade complete as per H.P. PWD specification .including mechanical transport within all leads, lifts and all depths and as per the direction of Engineer-In-Charge.
Providing laying spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing rolling with three wheel 80-100 KN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming stone screening/binding materials to fill- up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading-II as per technical specification clause 405 including haulaging of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. WBM Grading -I 90mm to 40mm.
Providing laying spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing rolling with three wheel 80-100 KN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming stone screening/binding materials to fill- up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading-II as per technical specification clause 405 including haulaging of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. WBM Grading -II 63mm to 45mm.

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 1.00 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per technical specificaion clause 502 including haulaging of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
