| 1.01 | Alternator: Standard design alternator, Power Rated at 40 KVA / 32 KW, net out put at site after connsidering derating as per site conditions 3 Phase 4 wire, 415 Volts, 50 HZ, Power factor 0.8 (lagging) net output at site after considering derating for per site conditions at 0.8 (lagging) power factor, self excited, self regulated, screen protected drip proof IP 23 enclosure brushless design, insulation class 'H' and Automatic voltage regulation of ± 1% at rated voltage from no load to full load. The permissible overload should be 10% for one hour in 12 hours of duration. The alternator shall be conforming to BS 2613/5000/IS 4722. The alternator shall be in position to generate supply with frequency regulation with in ± 1% tolerance. The alternator will be suitable for humid climate and shall generally confirm to BS-2613/5000/IS-4722. | - | - | - | - |
| 1.02 | Diesel Engine: Adequate capacity Diesel Engine capabile of 40 KVA coupled with alternator and after considering derating as per site conditions and power consumed by accessories. The engine shall be directly coupled through closed coupling, turbo charged after cooled, multi cylinder, multi stroke direct injection, cold starting and shall confirm ISO 3046 / BS-5514 with an overload capacity of 10% for one hour in 12 hours continous operation. The engine shall be electric start and shall be suitable for battery assisted Manual / Auto starting. The governing system of the engine shall be electric type and suitable to frequency variation with in ± 1% in case of load is switch on or thrown off.
(i) Turbo charger, pulse tuned exhaust manifold.
(ii) Cooling System: Mounted radiator with fan and belts & guard, corrosioninhibitor coolent etc.

| 1.03 | (iv) Exhaust System: Exhaust system complete with flexible stainless steel piping of suitable dia 2.5 mtrs above the adacent bldg as per OEM standard with necessary supports and proper insulation complete for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall of the enclosure and proper insulation complete for safe exhaust without transforming vibration to the wall of the enclosure.
(v) Starting System: Electric Self Starter with maintenance free batteries including battery charging alternative belt driven.
(vi) Fuel injection system with fuel injectors, filters, houses, fuel injection solenoid switch and nozzels.
(vii) Fuel tank of adequate capacity: As per OEM norms and specifications designed for above capacity of DG Set.

| 1.04 | (ix) Intake system: Air intake manifold with dry type air filters.
(x) Engine and alternator shall be mounted on common base frame with AVM pads.
(xi) Mounted micro processor based control panel having standard features and display engine and electrical parameters.
(xii) The engine supplied with first filling of oil of required quantity as recommended by OEM.

| 1.05 | AMF Panel: Auto Main Failure (AMF) Panel out door type made out 3.15mm CRCA sheet weather proof powder coated conforming to IS 8623 and IP-54 totally enclosed dust and vermin proof with front and rear openings of 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 wire AC 50 HZ having aluminium bus bar of capacity required to carry current at 110% load of 40 KVA DG Set with three phase and half neutral colour coded pre-wired with copper flexible cable. AMF panel shall house adequate capacity contactors for smooth transfer of load between mains and DG set. Panel shall be operated with three modes of operation. 1. Auto, 2. Manual, 3. | 1.07 | Acoustic Enclosure: Enclosure is free standing floor mounted factory built and modular in construction to facilitate easy assembly at work site and will be drop over housing type. It will consist of acoustically treated panel housed in sheet metal will provide easy access for maintenance, repairs and operation. The enclosure is custom to suit conditions with the following features: -
(i) Custom built product for various equipments, with ensure the optimum performance without duration. | - | - | - | - |
| 1.08 | (ii) 16SWG (1.6mm) thick CRCA sheet to be used for enclosure panel to ensure longer life against weathing action. High quality acoustic insulation materials to be used as per IS 8183 for maximum sound absoption. Acoustic layers are supported by perforated sheets.
(iii) Sheet metal component of the enclosure should undergo various stages of surface treatment prior to painting which leads to be better life of the enclosure against weathering action. | - | - | - | - |
| 1.09 | (iv) Special paint treatment with pure polyster powder / epoxy to be provided for better weather resistance.
(v) Well designed ventilation system to be provided to put out the heat from the chamber efficiently.
(vi) For effective acoustic / weather sealing a special type weather sealing gaskets, new frame rubber gaskets to be used.
(vii) The DG set should be provided with the external emergency stop push button and fire alarm.
(viii) A see through transparent window infront of engine panel to be provided for monitoring the parameters.
(ix) Working space is to be provided around the equipment for easy maintenance / repairs.
(x) Necessary cut out provision for entry and exist of fuel lines cable to be incorported in the enclosure as per the requirement.
(xi) See through transparent window (glass or acrylic) in front of engine panel to be provided for monitoring the operation.
(xii) Ducting if required, bellows, mechanical hardware like locks, hinge, fasters etc to be provided. | - | - | - | - |
