Contractor shall obtain warranty from the manufacturer of product on their letter head and submit the same to deparment alonwith his letter head. The product will be replaced free of cost in the following case :- (i) Manfacturing defects (ii) Failure due to mechanical and electrical impact. (e) Light fittings shall be provided with 10 KV surge protection as mentioned in description of item. (f) Contractor shall write CA No on street light fitting with synthetic enamel paint which should be visible from ground level. S&F in replacement pre-stressed cement concrete pole, 9 metre long of cross section 102mm x 172mm at top and 102mm x 279mm at bottom, class 10, complying with requirements of IS-1678-1998 erecting truly in vertical position including painting of poles with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer in alternate strip of 30cm each in black and yellow colour up to 1.5 metre height from top of PCC pedestal/coping of poles including numbering of poles with synthetic enamel paint black in 80mm high letters over 150mm x 230mm yellow base made from synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : PCC for foundation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for preparation of old painted surfaces of PCC pole and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint in black and yellow colour in alternate strips of 30 cm each upto 1.50 metre height from top of PCC coping and applying two coat of aluminum paint over cross arms, brackets, bracings, clamps, hooks etc. and marking pole number with white synthetic enamel paint in 80mm high letters, over black synthetic enamel paint base of size 20cm x 20cm including applying two coats of white wash to coping of poles all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Pole number shall be marked with white enamel paint over a base of size 20cm x 20cm prepared with two coats of black enamel paint on pole surfaces.

Taking down street light fitting safely and refixing the same on new pole including connection with cable PVC isulated stranded copper conductor, 1100 volts grade, 2.5 sqmm 3 core size of ISI marked from security light to pole box complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Notes :- Any T & P and Ladder wheel required for the work shall be arranged by the Contractor.
