Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr in depth and not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide in any type of soil and getting out all as required for laying and taking out of GI/CI pipes complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soils to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at level not exc. 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for drilling hole at a depth up to 1.5 mtr below the normal ground level of suitable size to insert upto 150 mm dia pipe across the road in horizontal position complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting of road depth up to 1.5 mtr below the normal ground level of suitable size for laying pipe upto 150 mm dia pipe across the road in horizontal position( upto 7 Mtr) including making good all disturbed surfaces of road to match with existing surfaces by premix road material/PCC complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting, dismantling and taking up or down old/unserviceable/cracked GI tubing with fittings of size 15 mm bore including cleaning for refixing complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of BOQ.

Supply & Laying (in replacement), jointing and leakage testing GI tubing medium grade 15mm bore with all fittings such as bend, tee, elbow, union, reducer etc, laid in trenches/floor/walls and making good the disturbed surface to match with existing surface with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate)/ plastering in CM 1:4 and applying finish coat of existing treatment complete all as specified and as directed at site. Notes :(i) The laying and jointing of pipes are required to be carried out in short / long streches catering to specific requirements of a purticular quarter or a group of blocks. (ii) Excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid seperately under relavant item of BOQ.

Repair to GI pipe lines of size 40mm to 80 mm bore bore dia and repair to leaked joints of pipe line complete including replacement of old GI fitting i.e union,nipple & sockets etc including excvation and taking up & down GI pipe required cutting & threading refixing in position in trenches and making good all disturbed surfaces of wall/ floor/ road/ path to match with existing specification all as specified and as directed. Cutting existing CI/DI water main half size 150mm bore pipe for making branch connection and CI/DI pipeline (Insertion of CI/DI tees bends of required size on connection pieces or for insertion of sluice valve) including excavation & earth work.
