Term Contract for supplying and fixing of Porta Cabins in Delhi Cantt

Providing and fixing prefab cabin with height of 3.00m from centre and 2.4mfrom side ends having following specification; Walls and roof- Walls and roof panel shall be made of GI sheet of minimum thickness 0.63 mm on both sides of 75mm thick EPS (Expanded polystyrene) thermocol of 20 Kg/cum density which is sandwiched between two GI sheets. The GI sheet will have protection of a layer of poly resin layer on inner side of GI sheet. The panels are further fitted at G.I. U-channel of size 50mmx75mmx50mm size of 16 gauge thick GI sheet which are fitted on floor with the help of self threading screws. The wall and roof panel shall be anchored with the help of GI angle sections on both sides of the wall which are tightened with the help of self threading screws and purlins will be provided at required intervals which are made out of rectangular section(hollow) 80x40x16 gauge. The walls will have door and window as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge and as per the specification mentioned in item No.2&3 of this schedule. The corner of walls will have GI angle of 75 x75x16 gauge size fitted with the help of nut and bolt, roof will have GI sheet ridge cap of size 10”x10”x16 gauge. The roof will have projection of 45cm all round the cabin. The edges of roof will also be covered with GI U shape channel of size 50x75x50mmx16 gauge.

Flooring- Shall be comprised of frame work made up of MS rectangular pipe (25mmx50mm size 14 gauge) having grid of maximum size 300x600mmduly primered and painted with approved steel primer and synthetic enamel paint and entire structure shall be raised above ground level 8 inches with the aid of ISMB, piece of 6”(150mm length) 50 Nos. of 150x75 mm.at every 4ft interval welded underneath the frame work of flooring including floor base of boiling water proof marine grade ply board 18mm thick fixed with self lapping screws with PVC sheet 1.5mm thick of LG make or equivalent shall be provided for flooring the platform and floor shall be treated with wood preservative and anti termite chemical. Finishing – Finish shall be done with texture paint on outer side and plastic emulsion paint on inner side. The door shall be painted with enamel paint of approved brand. The work shall be executed entirely as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge and the cost of cabin shall include all the works mentioned above and scaffolding etc. Outer dimensions of the cabin will be paid. The size of the cabin can vary as per the availability of site. Nothing extra shall be paid for any work which is found necessary for the execution of the work but the same is not mentioned above. The rates shall include the transportation, installations and all others terms as applicable. The porta cabins should be provided with 20 years warranty against manufacturingdefects. The contractor will be required to indemnity the Board on approved guarantee format provided by the Engineer-in-charge for this effect for period of 20 years.

Extra for providing windows of any size with aluminium grill as per requirement at site and having double shutter out of these one has to be fitted with 4mm thick Modi float glass and other shutter with G.I. of 0.63 mm aperture fly mesh.

Extra for providing flush doors 30mm thick ISI marked boiling water proof having indicated clear opening of given size with pressed steel chowkhats 1.20 mm thick fitted to the panels. The door will have one aluminium sliding door bolt 250x16mm size, two aluminium handles 125mm size and two tower bolts of 200mm size and one aluminium door stopper.
