Dismantling of Brick tiles or terracing tiles, single layer on roofs.

S&F for Heat Resistant Terrace Tiles (300 mm x 300 mm x 20 mm) with SRI (solar refractive index) > 78, solar reflection > 0.70 and initial emittance > 0.75 on waterproof and sloped surface of terrace, laid over and incl 20 mm thick cement sand mortar in the ratio of 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) and grouting the joints with mix of white cement & marble powder in ratio of 1:1, including rubbing and polishing of the surface upto 3 cuts complete, including providing skirting upto 150 mm height along the parapet walls in the same manner.

Demolition of Mud in roofs, any thickness, including plastering and leeping (whether full thickness removed or only a part thereof).

Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing surfaces, cleaning out and filling solidly with a hot mixture of bitumen and clean dry sand 1:1 (by weight), complete all as specified and as directed.

Cutting chases, pinning in. making good to facings where required and pointing in cement mortar 1:3 to ends or edges of landings, steps, cills, sunshades, shelves, lintels, etc.; and cutting chases for inserting APP membrane, concealed water tubing or concealed conduit wiring, etc., and making good, cutting not exc 10 cm girth in brick wall.

M&L for providing cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded agg) as in roof kerbs or mud stops, filling of hold fasts and door frames, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified.

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C1 with 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in padding over roof slab for making slope on roof top surface finished even and smooth complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 10 mm thick Cement plaster on surfaces of concrete in CM 1:4 on roof surfaces (Over PCC Padding) with WPC (WPC shall be measured and paid separately)

Supply only of liquid water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and applying Smartcare Dampproof, a fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane formulated with reinforcing acrylic fibers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on horizontal/vertical surfaces of roof/wall/chajjas in multiple coats @2.0 litre/sqm. Primary coat is self-priming coat of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1, damp proof : water) and other coats to be applied undiluted. The coating needs to be reinforced with 40 GSM geotextile, to sandwiched between 2nd & 3rd coat of coating. The application shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Make: SmartCare Damp Proof of Asian Paints or equivalent in Berger and Nerolac. Notes: (1) The work shall be executed through authorised applicator of manufacturer only. (2) Authrised Applicator shall be approved by GE before starting of work. (3) All materials shall be procured directly form manufacturer. (4) Guarantee: The contractor shall furnish a written guarantee for the effectiveness of the water proofing treatment for a period of Eight years in favour of the GE. A sum equivalent to 2.5% (Two point Five Percent) of the cost of water proofing treatment shall be retained by the Govt from the contractor’s dues as security deposit. The contractor may, however, furnish a fixed deposit receipt in lieu from a Schedule bank pledged in favour of Garrison Engineer.
