PROVN OF RMU (RING MAIN UNIT) AND CONNECTED WORKS AT CANTT AREA UNDER GE (I) KANPUR

Excavation in trenches / foundation in soft / loose soil not exc. 1.5 metre wide and n'exc. 1.5 m deep for HT / LT underground cable / pole foundation and getting out including forming bottom surface to required level or slope complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling of excavated soil after laying the cable with spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm thick in loose/soft soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus soil/excavated material obtained from ground level to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above from the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushning to U/G cable in layers of 23cm thick (8 Cm before laying the cable and 15 cm thick after laying the cable) in trenches including watering and consolidation, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Only punned thickness 18 cm shall be measured and paid.

Supplying and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HVP, type 1 with peak, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for drilling manually in soft/loose/ hard soil under road, pavement hard standing for protection of GI pipe up to 80mm dia complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Depth of bore shall not be more than 1 Mtr from ground level.

Supply & laying of GI tubing of 80 mm bore dia, light grade conforming to IS 1239- Part-I and ISI marked in trenches, across the road, on wall or pole incl fixing arrangement as directed, culvert etc of required length for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, laying in trenches or passing through pipe/ducts, fixed to wall or poles XLPE insulated screened PVC sheathed galvanized steel strip or wire armoured electric power cable with alumn conductor of cross sectional area 95 Sqmm 3 core 11 KV rated suitable for earthed system including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning brick covers and GI pipe etc shall be measured and paid separately.

All as per item No 08 above but HT 11 KV cable of size 120 Sqmm 3 core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cable end jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint with jointing material and all accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 70 to 95 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cable end jointing kit for 11 KV (Earthed) grade cable for indoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and all accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 120 to 185 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix cable end jointing kit for 33 KV grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and all accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 300 Sqmm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for spreading of new stone aggregate of size of 40mm evenly inside the RMU/ transformer yard area, remove the all debris, hard soil upto a depth of 40 cm manually with causing damage to the LT/HT UG cables of any size and in the presence of UG cable loop carefully clearing the area with out using excavating tools like crowbar, spades, showel etc and depositing the excavated earth to a distance not exceeding 50 m complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 32X6mm galvanised iron earth strip as in earth continuity conductor fixed to wall or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in and including 50mm bore galvanised pipe light grade of ISI marked for passing of cable fixed to poles/walls/laid under floor/ laid in trenches as cable protection complete with and including fittings as required compete all as specified and directed. (Note:- GI earth strip and GI light grade protection pipe beyond 7.5m length covered under item of provision of earthing set, shall be paid under this item).

Supplying , installation, testing and commissioning of 12 KV, 630 Amps having short circuit capacity 21kA/3-sec, Outdoor (IP54), RMU (Ring main unit) 4-way comprising of 02 Nos motorized operated Load Break Switch and 02 Nos 630 Amp Fixed-Type motorized spring-charging VCB electrolytic grade copper busbars all inside single, gas-filled, robotically welded stainless steel 304 (Non Ferrite Non Megnetic Grade) tank with min. thickness 3+0.5 mm, IP 67 Degree of Protection , internal-arc classified 21kA/1sec for cable box and tank both, on-site-repairable with site replacable bushing/coupling/mechanism, gas refilling etc. The enclosure shall have padlockable double-door access with anti-theft higes, fully covering the front facia and cable boxes to ensure fail-safe anti-theft protection. The unit shall include the following along with all necessary accessories and fittings as required at site.

(A) 02 Nos. Incoming Load Break Switch module each consisting of following accessories :- (i) Each switching-unit is designed as a three position switch. This three function switch combines the functions of switch-disconnector and earthing switch. (ii) 12V, 630A Load Break Switch with interlocked line-earthing scheme both short circuit current - 21kA/3-sec, Making Capacity - 50kAp -01 No (iii) Auxiliary contacts - 1NO + 1NC-01 No (iv) Spring-assisted snap-action motorized mechanism with un-inhibited operating shaft for emergency manual operation with integrated earthing switch -01 No (v) Cable terminals (site replacable Cable bushings situated not beyond 300mm from cable-cover to allow ease of access for installation/testing/replacement purposes) with double-door arrangement for enhanced safety (IP54+IP3X) interlocked to prevent access upto 11 KV , 120 Sqmm , 3 Core , XLPE AL cable termination in live-condition. Each Set of 03 (vi) Right angle boots (push on type)-Each Set of 03 (vii) Arc proof cable covers having cable entry from bottom , front with Interlocking mechanism including earth switch -01 No (viii) Capacitive voltage indication fixed type system as per IEC61243 with LED - 01 Set (ix) Fault Passage Indicator - It is to be provided for each incomer load break unit, FPI with LED/digital display to be added for detection of cable fault-01 No (x) ON, OFF, EARTH mechanical indication on the front mimic of the panel - 01 No

(B) 02 Nos. Outgoing VCB module each consisting of following accessories :- (i) Each function-unit consists of a vacuum-circuit breaker in combination with a three position-switch.The three-position-switch fulfills the operation of the disconnector-function and earthing function. (ii) 12kV, 630A Fixed-Type VCB module with series disconnector cum earthing switch of short circuit breaking current/withstand - 21kA/3-sec, Making Capacity - 50kAp-01 No (iii) Aux. contacts - 1NO+1NC-01 No (iv) Stored-energy motorized high-endurance spring charging mechanism (M1+), with inbuilt spring-charging lever and mechanically latched ON/OFF push-buttons to allow handle-less and un-inhibited operation -01 No (v) Cable terminals (site replacable Cable bushings situated not beyond 300mm from cable-cover to allow ease of access for installation/testing/replacement purposes) with double-door arrangement for enhanced safety (IP54+IP3X) interlocked to prevent access upto 11 KV , 120 Sqmm , 3 Core, XLPE AL cable termination in live-condition. Each Set of 3 (vi) Right angle boots (push on type)-Each set of 3 (vii) 3O/C + 1E/F self powered numerical protection relay with Low and High set for Over current and Earth Fault. Relay should have facility to display the maximum loaded phase current also.Relay shall record minimum 5 fault records with time stamping. Relay shall be communicable with RS 485 Port on MODBUS Protocol-01 No (viii) Associated ring-core cast-resin insulated CTs 50/1 Amp , 2.5 VA, 5P10 for protection - Each Set of 3

(ix) Arc proof cable covers with self Interlocking mechanism with earth switch -01 No (x) Capacitive voltage indication fixed type system as per IEC61243 with LED -01 No (xi) Push button for breaker trip (xii) Shunt trip coil 24V DC - 01 (xiii) ON, OFF, TRIP mechanical indication on the front mimic of the panel - 01. (xv) Vacuum circuit breaker with high mechanical endurance of 10000 operations (M2 Class) (xvi) To ensure reliablility of operation Vacuum interrupter shall be of same make as Ring Main Unit.

Dismantling & taking down old, deteriorated, switch air break and S &F with new 33 KV Isolator Double Stack , Horizontal Type, 400 Amp, each pole consist of galvanised steel base, H.T. insulators as per IS, non ferrous knife and spring loaded contact, arcing horns of adequate section to break the magnetizing current, including horizontal G.I. pipe adequate length for phase separation, adequate length of G.I. pipe of 32 mm for operation from ground level and operating handle complete in both OFF and ON position, jumpers with suitable conductor line, taps, clamps, colour coated HT sleeves and fittings suitable for horizontally mounting complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of unwanted vegetation/bushes/small plants/ shrubs complete inside/outside the installations all around and surface excavation not exceeding 15 cm depth levelling the ground and removing the excavated material to a distance exceeding 50 Mtr complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing angle frame / MS sheet for fencing to made out bracings supports / clamp , back plates fabricated from strucural steel sections nut bolt washers to be fixing including cutiing/ welding/ jointing etc to hot /cold drilling holes for bolts in any shap or size as indicated by Dept incl painting in two coats using syenthatic enamelled paint over and including one coat of primer red oxide etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Size of structure shall be approved by Deptt.
