Testing the cables with high voltage DC testing machine and locating the fault in the cables by fault locating machine to pin point exact position of fault, disconnecting faulty 33 KV HT cables of different sizes from both ends, removal of Fault, Re-connections and testing of cables after removal of fault complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) 33 KV HT cable & joints shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule. (b) Retrieved old serviceable cable cover will be laid in trenches for cable protection. If extra PCC cover and sand required at site shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQs. (c) Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule.

Supplying, laying, jointing testing and connecting XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cable (heavy duty) with multistranded aluminum conductors, 33 KV (E) grade, of size 400 Sq mm, 3 core, laid in trenches complete all as specified & directed in replacement of overhead conductor and underground cable. Note for item No 2 & 3:- Excavation, earth work ,cable protection , sand fillings , cable joint shall be measured and paid separately.

All as per item Ser No 2 here in before but size of cable 300 Sqmm , 3 core, but in replacement of underground cable.

Supply and fix Cable jointing kit for 33 KV (Earthed) grade cable for straight through heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of following size :-

400 sqmm 3 core.

300 sqmm 3 core.

Supply and fix Cable jointing kit for 33 KV (Earthed) grade cable for outdoor termination heat shrink type joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of following size :-

400 sqmm 3 core.

300 sqmm 3 core.

Material and labour for emergency maintenance work of 33 KV overhead line during breakdown by deploying skilled labourer and electricians at faulty site having Gang of minimum 6 persons and transportation including hydraulic machine and other tools and plant required at site for fault rectification. Note:- Contractor or his rep shall come to the site of breakdown within one hour of notification of breakdown . In case the rep or contractor shall not come to the site of breakdown and start attending breakdown within 1.00 hour a penalty of Rs 1000 per fault per hour will be imposed over contractor and will be deduct from his dues.

All as per Item No 6 here-in -before above but Gang of minimum 3 persons except hydraulic machine.

Supplying and Fixing in replacement, T -connector/ clamps, aluminium cast alloy suitable for existing ACSR conductor of type Zebra/Dog/Goat/Panther/Wolf for 33 KV yard with GI nuts bolts complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for surface dressing n exc 15 cm deep of soft loose soil of 33 KV towers structrue area complete all as specified as directed .

M&L in replacement of damage single/double /triple tension disc insulators and hardware fitting and fixing in position including tighetning of bolts & nuts, complete after dismentling and lowering of damage conductor/disc insulator by taking tension of conductor on a separate arrangement including opening & provinding of jumpers of 33 KV tension towers .

M&L in replacement of damage single/ double /triple disc suspension disc insulator by re-arranging with good/new disc insulators after taking the load of conductor on alternate arrangement including proper clamping etc. as per site requirement of 33 KV tower

M&L for stretching/tightning of loose ACSR conductor including fixing of conductor accessories such as clamp etc as per site condition of Zebra/Dog/Goat/Panther/Wolf conductor of 33 KV lines Note : Length of indl conductor shall be measured.

M & L Jointing of ACSR conductor of any type with mid span joint through compression joint machine of 33 KV lines

Trimming and cutting of tree branches(not more than 25mm girth) coming across 33 KV HT over head line clearing the line around 2m single/both sides and and disposal of branches from site exeeding 50m and not exceeding 250m from site complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : - (i) Length of span is approx 200 to 225 RM. (ii) Due care is to be given while trimming/cutting the tree branches that there should no damage to over head line conductor/pole. In case due to any negligence, damage is caused to be make good/renewal by the contractor from his own resources and nothing extra is admissible. (iii) All Safety to labourer must be adhered by the contractor during trimming and cutting of tree branches.

Supplying and fixing , Stretching, Securing, Connecting & testing of Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) of size Zebra/Dog/Goat/Panther/Wolf for 33 KV lines/33 KV yard complete incluiding taking out old unserviceable conductor complete all as directed.

Supplying and Fixing in repairs, male/moving contact/ rotating blade of HDE copper silver plated of Air Brake, off load isolator switch, rotating type, 33 KV, 1250 Amps capacity with all fixing nuts, bolts etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and Fixing in repairs, Fixed Contacts, made of HDE copper, silver plated, of Air Brake, off load isolator switch, rotating type, 33 KV, 1250 Amps capacity with all fixing nuts, bolts etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out faulty underground 33000 Volt HT cable of 400 Sqmm/300 Sqmm by excavation and removing RCC cable covers and relaying in the same trenches or re routing after rectification of fault or replacing faulty portion of cable with new cable and removing of surplus soil and using new RCC cable cover as required. Note: (a) 33000 Volt HT cable & joints shall be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule. (b) Retrieved old serviceable cable covers will be laid in trenches for cable protection. If extra cable covers and sand required at site shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQs. (c) Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid for seperately under respective items of schedule.

M&L for Bore earthig 150 mm dia buried by vertical boring machine, depth 50 mtr below ground level using earth electrode 50mm dia GI pipe medium grade duly drilled hole of 12mm dia, 115mm C/C on both side of the pipe including lowering in bore well upto the depth of 49 mtr and one mtr above the ground level. The pipe electrode should be filled around commericial salt charcoal dust, copper suphate and magnesium phosphate of 30 cm layer each upto the full length of pipe. The borewell should have 12 mtr of length 150mm dia MS pipe for protection of borewell. Welding of GI Strip 50mmx6mm on earth electrode GI Pipe 50mm dia upto 10mtr below ground level and 15 mtr from the bore well to test point gun metal and PCC foundation surrounding the borewell 60cmx60cmx30cm all as directed by Engr-in-charge. GI strip more than 25mtr will be measured and paid separately. Note :- Cost of gun metal test point deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Excavation in trenches not exc. 1.5 m wide and not exc 1.5 mtr deep in soft/loose soil for laying / taking up/ taking down of cables and getting out and levelling of bottom suface to required level all as specified and directed by Engineer- in- Charge.

Returning filling in,. Including spreading, levelling,. Watering and well ramming soil in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (ie soil) from site to a distance n. exc 50 mtrs away and depositing where directed at a level n. exc. 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for river washed and screened, dry sand for filling in trenches below and around underground cables for cushioning of cables etc, complete all as specified. Note : Measurement shall be taken after punning down.

Supplying & Laying reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class EHV, type 1 with peak, size 450mm x 230mm x 50mm in trenches for protecting under ground cable as per IS (for 33 KV Cable) complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 36 here-in-before but old cover obtained from item No 32.

M&L Brick work with sub-class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6 m mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:6 complete as specified and directed.

M&L Rendering 15mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in cement mortar (1:4) finished fair and even without using extra cement complete as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (using 40 mm gradded aggregate) for foundation, filling and mass concrete etc complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and erect steel Structures to support 33 KV cable and fencing with ISMB/Channnel/Angle iron/Flat including necessary hard ware in any shape or size including GI Nut, bolts,washers, clamps suitable for above structure/equipments as directed and inclusive of one primer coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified and directed.

S&F 3.15mm dia MS wire 75x75mm mesh , made up into mattress or cages appx 2.00 mtr height and fixed with flate iron /angle by welding in position complete all as specified directed .

M & L for 2 coat of synthetic enamel painting over a coat of red oxide to MS wire fencing including preparation of newly surface/old surface complete all as specified.

Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 200 mm dia suitable for 0.6 mpa working pressure

S&F cable route indicator made of RCC (Nominal Mix) type B0 1:2:4 (12.5mm graded stone aggregate) with 8 mm TMT Bar c/c of size 1m height X 60 cm wide X 10 cm thick tapered on top, visible above ground , duly painted with synthetic enamel paint of yellow colour base and letters with black paint. The description for writing for HT cable 33 KV as directed by Engr -in -charge complete all as specified and directed. Note : Rate for PCC 1:3:6 for foundation (min size 0.8mx0.3mx0.3m) of aggregate size 20 mm for cable route indicator deemed to be included in the item.

Dismantling of 33 KV ACSR conductor from 33 KV steel structures tower complete all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.
