Reconditioning of shaft by changing DE & NDE pins for PA Fan Type – NDZV 20 Heracles. The work involves, i) Removal of existing worn out end pins in DE and NDE side of shaft. ii) Selection of material as that of old pin. iii) Shrunk fit the pin at both the ends of Existing hollow tubular and welding. iv) Carryout LPT/MPI test on welded portion shaft flange groves and also pins. v) Machining the shaft to the required dimension and trueness checking. vi) Dynamic balancing. vii) Cleaning, painting, applying rust preventive oil and packing. viii) Transporting of shaft from site to factory and back. (Crane facility will be provided by TNPGCL for loading and unloading the shaft at NCTPS) ix) Return the released end pins to NCTPS-I stores.
