Rehabilitation of Distributary canal at mile 35-6-080 of Mettur East Bank Canal in Komarapalayam Taluk of Namakkal District

Clearing the scrub jungle including removal of roots and disposing off etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Dismantling and clearing away the stone masonry in cement mortar under 3 m height etc complete as directed by the departmental officers.

Earthwork excavating and depositing on bank with initial lead of 10 m & initial lift of 2m in hard stiff clay, stiff black cotton, hard red earth, shales, murram, gravel, stoney earth and earth mixed with small size boulders etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and placing in position of plain cement concrete M - 10 grade using graded hard blue granite broken stone jelly 20 mm size with M.Sand mixing with mixer machine including the cost of bailing/pumping wherever necessary laying the concrete in layers of not exceeding 15 cm thick, compacting, consolidation finishing, watering, curing etc. complete complying with standards specifications and as directed by the departmental officers

Providing and laying in position, standardised concrete Mix M-20 Grade by insitu machine mix concrete adopting weighing batch method in accordance with IS 456 using 20mm and down graded hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC items of works with minimum cement content of 325 kg/m3 and maximum water cement ratio of 0.55, including admixture (plasticiser / super plasticiser) in recommended proportions as per IS:9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without inspiring strength and durability with about (5 Cu.m) 7730 kg. of 20mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (3.3 Cu.m) 5156 kg. of 10-12mm machine crushed stone jelly and with about (4.79 cu.m) 7670 kg. of crushed stone sand, but excluding cost ofreinforcement grill and fabricating charges, centering and shuttering and also including laying,vibrating with mechanical vibrators, finishing, curing, etc.,complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing and placing in position, Plain Cement Concrete of M 15 grade (Design Mix) using crushed broken hard coarse aggregates (well graded)of nominal maximun size of HBGS jelly of 60% of 40 mm size and 40% of 20mm size and downgraded confirming to IS specified grading and mixing by mixer machine ( to produce concrete of the specified characteristic strength of 15N/mm2 at 28 days) and mixing the ingradients in approved including dewatering by bailing/ pumping wherever necessary laying the concrete in layers and in bays with amixer including dewatering of the placement site by bailing ,pumping and diverting wherever necessary,placing concrete in layers and vibrating,water curing, finishing the sur ll leads and lifts, vibrating, as per the technical specification.

Supplying erecting and centering for sides and soffits without strutting for plain surfaces such as reinforced cement concrete slabs using ms sheets of size 90 X 60 cms and BG10 stiffened with welded ms angle of size 25 X 25 X 3 mm by boarding laid over silver oak joints of size 10 X 6.5 cms spaced at about 90 cms centre to centre complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying erecting and centering for sides and soffits including supports and strutting upto 3.00m height for plain surfaces such as reinforced cement concrete slabs using ms sheets of size 90 X 60 cms and BG10 stiffened with welded ms angle of size 25 X 25 X 3 mm by boarding laid over silver oak joints of size 10 X 6.5 cms spaced at about 90 cms centre to centre and supported by casurina props of size 10 to 13 cms dia spaced at 75 cm centre to centre using steel centering as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position Mild Steel / Ribbed Tor Steel reinforcement grills of all variety like HYSD/CTD/TMTand all grade like Fe 500,Fe550D, Fe 500 D etc., for all RCC works as per design given including cost of steelreinforcement and G.I. binding wire, wastage etc. complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.(Contractor has to make hisown arrangements for the supply of steel reinforcement and binding wire)

Earthwork excavating and depositing on bank with a lead of 6km in hard stiff clay, stiff black cotton, hard red earth, shales, murram, gravel, stoney earth and earth mised with samll size boulders including watering and consolidating etc., complete conveying to site through lorries with an average lead of 6 kms including sectioning etc., complete complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officers.
