Annual Comprehensive Contract for Operation and Maintenance of Water Treatment Plant and water supply network Pipe lines, valves, BPT ,Incoming line and UGT for IIT Indore

Annual Comprehensive Contract for Operation & Maintenance of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and water supply network (Pipe lines, valves, BPT, Incoming line and three nos of UGT’s) for IIT Indore campus. Details scope of works of as per specification mention in the NIT .

1.1 Operation and maintenance of BPT tank and its water supply line connecting from NVDA BPT to UGT-22 of capacity collection Raw water tanks 3 nos. of each 200 Cum. With all operations and manpower as required round the clock. 1.2 Operation and maintenance of UGT-22 tanks and its supply line connecting to WTP of capacity collection tanks (4 raw water tanks of 775 Cum. and 1 tank of 400 Cum.) with all operations and manpower as required round the clock. 1.3 Operation and Maintenance of water treatment plant treate the raw water up to drinking purpose. Ensuring collection of treated water through activated carbon filter and multigrain sand filters in treated water tanks . 1.4 Operation and maintenance of treated water after chemical dosing in tanks ( 2 Nos. of 1025 Cum. ) 1.5 Operation, maintenance of treated water and its supply line as well as valves from WTP to following UGTs- A. To UGT-22 (one tank of 25 Cum. And One tank of 15 Cum.) B.To UGT-25 (one tank of 150 Cum. And One tank of 75 Cum.) C. To UGT-29 (one tank of 175 Cum. And One tank of 90 Cum.) The agency needs to maintain proper distribution of water with no loss of institute resources. Operation of pumps, panels etc. 1.6 Operation, maintenance and distribution of treated water and its supply line as well as valves from UGT-22,25,29 to various other individual buildings- The work also includes maintaining proper distribution of water with no loss of institute resources. Operation including maintenance of pumps, panels and other machineries should be taken care by the agency as per instructions of Engineer In-charge. All record keeping as per engineer in charge. 1.7 Preventive Maintenance of plant two times in a year. Maintenance, Replacement of ACF. 1.8 Lab test report of treated and Raw water every month (NABL) with all parameters. Visit of chemist once in a every month.

Cleaning of all OHTs every quarter( Each tank clean four times in a year). Cleaning of walls, slab/ floor with proper scrubbing etc complete and cleaning of UGTs tanks two times in a year as per engineer in charge.
