REPAIR MAINTENANCE TO TRANSFORMER VCBs HT AND LT PANELS AND OTHER ALLIED WORKS UNDER GE GUWAHATI

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and getting out including forming bottom surface for laying HT cable Complete all as specified and directed by Eng.-in-charge.

Returning filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layer not exceeding 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for sand cushioning to underground cable for protection with fine river sand over, UG cable laid in trenches and gently punned to cushioning to cable complete all as specified and directed. (Note: Thickness of sand cushion after punning down will be measured and paid.)

Supply and laying reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV, type -1 flat, size 300 mm x180 mm x 40 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for hard surface cutting as in road ,pavement, etc for laying of cables, pipes etc of any size up to approximate width of 45 cm and depth 60 cm , returning filling and making good to surface with PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 Complete after laying of cable ,pipe etc as required and as specified & directed.

M&L for making hole by suitable means for insertion of GI pipe 80 mm bore for passing cable across the road without cutting the road complete all as specified & directed.

Supply, laying, connecting and testing XLPE HT UG insulated (Earthed),cable laid in trenches/fixed on pole etc with screened, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 11000 volts grade, cross sectional area 120 sqmm,3 core conforming to IS-7908(Part-I)1988, complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation & earth work shall be measured and paid separately.

All as per item No 8 here in before but cable size 95 sqmm , 3 core .

M & L for replacement of cable jointing kit for 11 KV grade (Earthed) HT cable for outdoor termination heat shrinkable type complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 50 to 95 sqmm 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

All as per item No 10 here in before but suitable for 120 to 185 sqmm size cable.

M & L for replacement of cable jointing kit for 11 KV grade (Earthed) HT cable with & including straight through type heat shrinkable jointing kit complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 50 to 95 sqmm 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge.

All as per item No 12 here in before but suitable for 120 to 185 sqmm size cable.

Supply, laying or fixing as in repair 80 mm bore galvanised iron tubing, light grade, with all fittings for passing of cables laid in trenches or fixed to walls/poles complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of unserviceable/old ACSR conductor any size from overhead lines ,poles by removing winding wire ,service wire, cable and removal from site complete all as specified and directed

M & L for replacement, of vertical switch air break gang operated HT 11 KV triple pole mechanically operated out door type and rated capacity 200 Amp with 6 insulator and steel frames mechanically operated mechanism consisting of three male contacts & three female contacts of tinned copper, three arching horns, three MS jumper carrier equipped with braided copper belt , operating rod of medium grade 32/25mm bore GI pipe of suitable length worked from ground level with locking arrangement with clamp of flat iron 50X6 mm complete and testing on load.

Supply and fix swing out expulsion fuse type drop out fuse mounted on two nos of HT insulators single pole upto 25 Amps HT 11 KV with spring mechanism complete including connecting with HT cable leads spirally shaped duly crimped with suitable size lugs complete all as specified & directed by engineer Incharge.

M & L for replacement of Cross arms bracing supports clamps and back plate fabricated from structural steel section including nuts bolts washers welding bending cold or hot drilling holes for bolts in any shape & size as indicated or directed and including of one primer coat one under coat one finishing coat with aluminium paint.

M & L for replacement of anti climbing device on HT/LT poles comprising of 2.24 mm dia galvanised steel 2 strand barbed wire with 2 mm dia wire wrapped spirally around poles to a length of 0.5 to1.0 metre clamped and properly secured all as directed.

M & L for replacement of pin type porcelain vitreous white brown or green insulator including one galvanised mild steel spindle two galvanised iron washer and one galvanised iron nut 150 mm height , 150 mm dia for 11000 volts grade.

S&F in replacement disc type insulator porcelain vitrcelain vitreous 145mm high and 255mm dia ball and socket type, white, brown or green single disc for tension with tension clamps for conductors, working pressure 11000 volts complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for replacement of lightening arrester expulsion type complete with all fittings ,transmission class discharge capacity 65 KA conforming to IS 3070 Part II of for HT 11000 of Volt complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for replacement of danger notice plate of 1.6 mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled/ painted white with letters figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps , bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT of size 25 X20 cm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cable route indicator made by PCC (75x75x600mm) with base 300x300x40 mm depth below GL ,embossed with letters " MES 11 KV HT" with suitable PCC Foundation in PCC 1:2:4 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only and T&P for dismantling 11 KV GO/DO air break switch assembly, scrubbing rust from all MS parts and refixing in same position after replacement of defective worn out spares (Spares required for replacement shall be measured and paid separately), lubricating all moving linkages, setting on HT 4 pole/2pole structure to ensure correct operation complete all as directed.

Supply only male contact or moving contact blade made out of Brass suitable for 11 KV GO/DO air break switch assembly.

Supply only female contact or fixed contact jaw made out of Brass suitable for 11 KV GO/DO air break switch assembly.

Supply only pin insulator straight/tilted type suitable for 11 KV GO/DO air break switch assembly.

Supplying and fixing in replacement galvanized stay stranded wire of size 7/4 mm and fixing to stay assembly complete all as shown in electrical plate No 1 of SSR-2009 (Part-I) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of synthetic insulating mat , 19 mm thick suitable for 11000 Volts of size 2 m x 1 m (ISI marked) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate 600 x 600 x 6mm thick buried directly in ground pit not less than 4.50 m deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 3.75m below normal ground level connected to & including galvanized iron strips 32X6 mm duly encased in 50 mm bore light grade GI protection pipe both up to 7.5 mtr in length by means of nuts bolts check nut and washers of GI starting from earth plate to panel/transformer side all as specified and including necessary excavation earth work, PCC pit 40mm RCC cover made RCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate concrete reinforced with 8mm dia bars 75mm C/C both ways with MS handle 12mm dia PGI funnel wire mesh and GI pipe light grade 20mm for watering starting from top edge of the plate complete all as specified and testing as per SSR -Part 1.The earth plate shall be surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust with common salt, packed on all side of earth plate in alternate layers of thickness 15 cm each including excavation, earth work in any type of soil, returning and filling in, removal of surplus soil to a distance upto 50 mtr complete all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part- I complete all as specified and directed.

M&L earthing complete with copper earth plate 600 x 600 x 3mm thick buried directly in ground pit not less than4.50 m deep below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 3.75 m below normal ground level connected to copper strip of size 30X3 mm duly encased in 50 mm bore light grade GI protection pipe both up to 7.5 mtr in length by means of brass nuts bolts check nut and washers starting from earth plate to panel/transformer side all as specified and including necessary excavation earth work, PCC pit 40mm RCC cover made RCC (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate concrete reinforced with 6mm dia bars 75mm C/C both ways with MS handle 12mm dia PGI funnel wire mesh and GI pipe light grade 20mm for watering starting from top edge of the plate complete all as specified and testing as per SSR -Part 1. The earth plate shall be surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust with common salt, packed on all side of earth plate in alternate layers of thickness 15 cm each including excavation, earth work in any type of soil, returning and filling in, removal of surplus soil to a distance upto 50 mtr complete all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part- I complete all as specified and directed. .

S&F, in repair, Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal head screw complete all as specified and as directed.

Disconnecting of both HT and LT connection from cable end box and taking down the disconnected transformer (Out Door/Indoor type) of 500 KVA capacity from platform with the help of recovery/Hydra, chain pulley and other T&P required at site, and transportation of unserviceable transformer to authorized civil workshop and bringing back to the same location after repair in a suitable vehicle including loading, unloading, complete all as directed .

Disconnecting of both HT and LT connection from cable end box and taking down the disconnected transformer (Out Door/Indoor type) of 150 to 250 KVA capacity from platform with the help of recovery/Hydra, chain pulley and other T&P required at site, and transportation of unserviceable transformer to authorized civil workshop and bringing back to same location after repair in a suitable vehicle including loading, unloading, complete all as directed .

Disconnecting of both HT and LT connection from cable end box and taking down the disconnected transformer (Out Door/Indoor type) of 50 to 100 KVA capacity from platform with the help of recovery/Hydra, chain pulley and other T&P required at site, and transportation of unserviceable transformer to authorized civil workshop and bringing back to same location after repair in a suitable vehicle including loading, unloading, complete all as directed .

Taking down the unserviceable Copper/aluminium winding from transformer, opening top cover, draining out unserviceable insulation oil and carrying out the following work for 500KVA capacity transformer all as directed :- (a) Taking out the core with winding assembly. (b) Dismantling of all attachment viz breather assembly, conservator, oil temperature gauge, HT/LT bushing etc. and keeping aside for reuse or replacement as required and directed. (c) Removing of complete winding from core and dismantling the core, cleaning of core laminate sheet and keeping aside for reuse. (d) Cleaning of complete transformer tank oil fins, removing of sludge, and making the inside surface of tank dry by blowing of hot air as directed. (e) Painting of outside surfaces of transformer complete by means of spray machine as directed.

All as per item No 37.00 here in before but capacity 150 KVA to 250 KVA.

All as per item No 37.00 here in before but capacity 50 KVA to 100 KVA.

Repair to the transformer of capacity 500 KVA as follows :- (a) Rewinding of HT/LT leg coil complete using copper wire of appropriate gauge, size and turn as per existing with double paper coated insulation including all requisite insulating materials like packing sleeves, separator, tapes etc, heating, varnishing the core and winding assembly after framing up top and bottom steel structure of transformer all as specified and directed. (Note:- Winding wire, HT/LT leg coils, HT/LT Brass spindle, breather assembly and transformer oil shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items as ‘Supply only’).(b) Replacement of all insulating materials other than incorporated for rewinding of HT/LT coils as per existing.(c) Fixing only HT porcelain bushing with studs, nuts, washers 3 Nos. and LT porcelain bushing with studs, nuts, and washers 4 Nos. and connection with primary and secondary windings and reconnecting with the main terminals as required and directed. (d) Fixing only existing serviceable accessories as obtained from para (b) here-in-before after proper cleaning, minor repairs etc. as required and directed.(e) Replacement of all unserviceable gasket from top cover, HT/LT bushing with new one by using rubberised gasket sheet 4.0mm/6.0mm thick duly pasted with suitable adhesive (f) Replacement of unserviceable bolts with new one and fixing of existing serviceable bolts, nuts, washers of different sizes and tightening properly. (g) Repositioning of core and winding assembly inside the tank, assembling complete unit and making the transformer ready for filling oil and subsequent testing as directed.

All as per item No 40 here in before but capacity 150 KVA to 250 KVA.

All as per item No 40 here in before but capacity 50 KVA to 100 KVA.

Installation of transformer of same capacity or higher capacity (upto 500 KVA) in place of unserviceable transformer (which is under major repair and taken to workshop for repair), on hire basis for maximum period of 10 days when ordered. Note:- Repairing of transformer have to be completed with in 10 days duration, no extra cost will be paid toward hiring charges beyond 10 days. Moreover contractor will not be allowed to shift the hired transformer until it is replaced by the repaired transformer. if anything goes wrong in the hired transformer, no extra cost will be paid towards repairing of hired transformer. Contractor should check the available infrastructure and to be sure regarding safety of transformer before installation. The rate quoted is deemed to be inclusive of transportation cost, connecting incoming & outgoing cables, earthing leads lifting/lowering arrangement, labour etc.

Supply only LT leg coil of copper conductor for transformer of capacity 50 to 500 KVA complete with insulation, varnishing by vacuum impregnation and baking coil assembly, etc. as required complete and as directed. Note - weight of LT leg coil shall be measured and paid as per actual measurement on ground .

Supply only HT leg coil of copper conductor for transformer of capacity 50 to 500 KVA complete with insulation, varnishing by vacuum impregnation and baking coil assembly, etc. as required complete and as directed. Note - weight of HT leg coil shall be measured and paid as per actual measurement on ground.

Supply only transformer oil of approved quality as per IS having dielectric strength of 40-60 KV in 2.5mm gap for filling in transformer or for topping up as required and directed.

Dehydration, filtration of transformer oil by means of centrifugal filtration plant to achieve desired dielectric strength of 35 to 40 KV at 4mm gap in existing position of transformer of any capacity and topping up transformer oil at various Sub-Stations all as required and directed by the Engr-in-Charge. Note : Deficient quantity of transformer oil required for topping up shall be measured and paid as "supply only" under item mentioned here in before).

Disconnecting and removing transformer of capacity 50 to 100 KVA from transformer plinth/four pole structure after disconnecting HT/LT side cable connections and draining out transformer oil for repair/maintenance of transformer complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge

All as per item No 48 here in before but capacity 150 KVA to 250 KVA.

Maintenance of transformer such as cleaning of core and winding by means of washing down with clean dry oil to remove dust/sludge on core and coil, cleaning of oil tank to remove sludge deposits, replacement of old rusted gasket set, burnt out spindle, broken/unserviceable HT and LT ceramic bushing, broken arc horn surge arrester, replacement of silica gel with new one for transformer of capacity 50 to 150 KVA all as required and directed by Engineer-in-Charge (Note : (a) Cost of oil for cleaning shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (b) New Spares required at site against the replacement of old unserviceable one shall be measured and paid separately as ‘Supply only’ under relevant items)

Supply, install, test and commission LT Panel board, 415 Volts, 50 Hz, out door cubical type floor mounted CPRI approved factory made, double door dust and vermin proof IP-54, fabricated out of CRCA sheet not less than 3.15 mm thick with 2mm thick for internal compartment duly powder coated fixed on angle iron pedestal made out of 50x50x6 mm with cable chamber for individual feeders for incoming and outgoing connections, one set of LED indicator lamp RYB with switch and fuse and with the followings including necessary PCC foundation of minimum 0.35 m height positioned and fixed with suitable nut, bolts, washers etc to the MC pedestal all as specified and directed comprising of the following :- (a) 400 Amps aluminium bus bar for phases and 250 Amps for neutral duly insulated with PVC sleeves RYB, mounted on heavy duty epoxy insulator in separate compartment.-01 set. (b) MCCB 250 Amps 4 Pole 50 Hz 415 V with thermal magnetic release having rupturing capacity 36 KA - 1Nos (Incoming). (Note:- New Spare/Parts shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items as “Supply only”)
